Good location, dated rooms, no balcony and significantly over-priced for its value.

Valet car service was good. Good CBD location.

Very small and old-fashioned room, with no balcony or view. Over-priced, and in the absence of a car park we were forced to pay an exorbitant fee for valet parking. No seating in the lobby, late room servicing almost every day.

Fantastic location so close to the river and cafe culture

The location and the comfort. The staff were very friendly. Ticked most of the boxes one would expect of this type of 5* hotel. The hotel is literally 1 minute to the Yarra River and all the cafe culture the hotel is close to the train station and main drag of shops and dining.

The first room I was given was adjacent to the lift and also there was manual demolition of the next building to the left side of the hotel. The reception changed my room very quickly and smoothly without any fuss. I think the construction work will continue for the next 2 years. I advise people to request rooms on the right side or riverside of the hotel to avoid the noise.

Amazing night in a great location

Excellent location - beautiful views from the balcony. Staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious.

Enjoyed but given the lack of sleep as stated above we left feeling exhausted.

Time spent in the podium bar was lovely upon arrival. Checkin staff and valet parking staff were efficient and polite. Our room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable however extra blankets would have been helpful as the doona was quite thin. The location of the hotel was fantastic - right in the heart of all restaurants and bars we were intending to utilise.

Unfortunately our room was freezing overnight even though the thermostat temperature read 21 degrees. We slept fully clothed as there were no extra blankets provided. We did not get much sleep at all given we were so cold.

Stunning hotel, great location and service.

The Langham is a stunning hotel with great amenities. We had two rooms next to each other for our family of 4, we especially loved the city views and the pool. Location is perfect and we had a great breakfast before our late check out which was much appreciated as we could spend extra time at the pool.

Having to split up into 2 rooms is not ideal but we knew about it when booking, it would be great if there were rooms available that could fit 2 adults and 2 kids (that were affordable).

Fancy but probably wouldn’t stay again due to dates finishings in rooms

Breakfast good and selection good but found the eggs and hot food to be on the cold side. Gorgeous entrance to hotel and staff lovely.

The food from room service. Everything was a bit extra fancy but not really tasty - like a simple ham and cheese toastie loaded with way too much ham and bread just placed on top - not a nice normal toastie like you’d expect from a kids menu. A standard chocolate milkshake loaded with unnecessary extras. Risotto that had a lot of pepper in it, my friend couldn’t even eat it. We also ordered a bowl of chips which again was covered in parsley rather than just plain delicious hot chips we were after. Also realised before check out bed sheets should be changed every other day but we are certain ours were not changed our whole stay. Also no top sheet on the bed we found a bit odd. Another thing the rooms are a bit dated, Carpets a bit old and dirty, our room had a lot of dust in it especially the curtains. PowerPoints were far from beds, and one of our hair tools wouldn’t work at all in the power points there yet there was no issue with it when we got home.

Central location and Langham look and feel.

Cost is high for the room. Curtains look a bit rough for example. Even though had booked months in advance got put in a room right next to the lifts which was so disappointing. Room was only briefly serviced over 4 days.

Overall we were happy, but just felt the room itself was very tired and didn't feel special.

Facilities we exceptional. We both had spa treatments which we fantastic. We felt really well looked after. The check in was great and the staff we very helpful and friendly.

The room felt tired. Staying at the Langham for us was such a treat and we both felt that the room didn't seem at all special. It felt as though it could have done with a little face lift. The phone in the spa didn't work so we found it really difficult to order drinks. The receiver wasn't working so the staff member on the other side couldn't hear my order. I had to call over 5 times to order some juice, which isn't ideal after spa treatment. I reported it to a maintenance man that was there who said he would look into so I hope this has already been sorted.

Fabulous place to stay with excellent staff.

Beds were really large and very comfortable. Location fabulous and all staff were so friendly.

Bathroom is a little dated with the phone right beside the toilet.

The rooms are quite dated, could do with an update. Langham hotels staff is normally 10/10 however I would say that the staff here although very friendly, not quite up to par with other Langhams like sydney and Gold Coast.
