Cosy and very clean.
Everything was fine .

everything was good. bed was super comfortable and rooms are stylish with high ceilings. Nice old building with cool elevator
might be a good idea to replace shower curtain with something like a glass door that would prevent water from spilling onto the bathroom floor

Angebot einer honesty bar

Very clean
Proximity to train station , excellent places to eat at the doorstep.
Very courteous and helpful staff .
Would loved a kettle in the room but think most hotels don’t do one in Berlin.
4.5
Very good breakfast, with high quality products
Warm welcome
Location close to Charlottenburg Palace, German Opera, Kadewe

The nouveau atmosphere of the hotel was lovely. The room spacious and tastefully furnished. We loved the huge comfortable bed. Would liked to have stayed longer than one night.
The very old lift had character but took a bit of getting used to. You wouldn’t want to be in a hurry.
4.5
Excellent location with a good choice of restaurants. Staff very helpful. Breakfast yummy
4.0
Great location and neighborhood with nice dining options. Beautiful & historic building. Interesting details, for example, the old elevator. Amazing, healthy, delicious breakfast and good coffee.
Some details in the room were not well thought out, for example, we could not watch the TV from the bed nor the sofa, the bathroom door bumped against the towel rail all the time, there were 2 seperate blankets on the bed. Some design choices were questionable, taking into account the architecture of the building and the price. Some furniture pieces and floors were worn out.
3.5
The hotel is housed in a old building with the rooms spread across several floors in what I only can guess are old apartments. The room we had was spacious although a bit sporadic in their furnishing. The front office and breakfast staff where friendly and helpful.
The cleaning of the room could be a bit tidier. Also, toilet paper wasn't re-filled during our 4 day stay which is a bit weird as we (a family of 5) we're given 2 rolls to share during this time ..
2.5
Location , style , breakfast room
Breakfast -a number of items wasn’t fresh , room 19 too dark ,

The location was great for exploring the Ku’damm.
The hotel added another special element to our stay in Berlin, this vibrant and history filled city could be felt between the walls of this hotel. Beautifully restored and a lot of the original elements were kept without rushing to modernise them which I enjoyed. The dining room is very warm and welcoming.
We could hear absolutely everything from the room above us, including when they removed hangers from the closet at 5am but then I think this is just part of being in this historical building.

Charming old Berlin apartment now split up in to a hotel. Very personal. Great location.
Small shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc

Friendly staff, beautiful old building.

Great location and stuff, exceptional breakfast!
The rooms are old (which is fine, as this is authentic altbau building), but not very clean (there was dust under the bed and in the corners). And they didn’t clean sanitary a single time while we were staying there for 2 weeks :( Not a big deal, rather a comment for management, who were all very friendly and nice.
4.5
the rooms were big and unique and the staff was very helpful.
the door to finding the way in is a little confusing, and the hallways/stairwells up to the actual hotel floor were dark. It would be nice to have the reception center somewhere easier to find, but all in all, we enjoyed our stay.
4.5
Really lovely place to stay. Decor of rooms gorgeous. Make sure to try the Art Deco lift. Also, there is beautiful art on all the walls, and wonderful coffee table books about art, Berlin, interiors, etc.
The location is superb - a really quiet street but only a short 10min walk from Savigny platz and just over 15mins to Zoogarten
It would be wonderful if the towels had been a bit fluffier but on the scale of things, that's just a minor quibble.

Hotel was lovely, location was excellent, staff were very helpful
4.5
Beautiful, historic interior very carefully curated. Heaven for people who love history. Maybe not the best for people who love modern hotels. Friendly, personable proprietorship; service felt very personal rather than transactional. We also loved the communal dining room with a self-service bar. We had a lovely self-catered dinner basically in private, in a gorgeous 19th century dining room. It felt like staying overnight in a museum. Absolutely loved it.
We loved the whole experience, but the bathroom in our room was just a small simple shower. Note if you like a big bathtub.

Really interesting place. amazing honesty bar in social space looking over street. Fantastic old lift! comfortable bed. Lived the plasterwork on the ceiling
we didn’t get the chance to stay long as our train was so late!
3.5
Great location, very friendly staff, nice rooms with really unique vibe, roof terrace was really nice.
Breakfast place is rather small and can get crowded in the mornings. Breakfast options are limited, some warm meals would be awesome but unfortunately there aren’t any. Whatever was on breakfast was fresh and tasty, nevertheless after couple days you already know everything and it can get simply boring. Bathroom is rather small.

I really enjoyed the architecture and interiors of the hotel. It is refreshing to stay in a hotel so unique, with each room designed differently from the others. I would recommend this hotel.
