Location great
Rooms are ok but so noisy you can hear everything through the hotel
Don’t say if you wish to have a good nights sleep
The evening staff who “welcomed “us was rude and unhelpful
Rude staff
Noisy rooms
Every thing out dated
You can hear everything through the wall/ floors
Pissed up other hotel users shouting through the night
If you like sleep dont stay here

The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and very well presented
Nothing to not like. We would definitely stay again.

Breakfast area was nice , beds were comfortable, location was just outside city center. Quick cab or 30 min walk .
4.0
Good location . Modern rooms clean
Think charging extra for car park is little disappointing given paying fair amount and it was only an overnight when street parking is free anyway . Hotel restaurant was expensive for what it was
4.0
Bien situé un peu à l'écart du centre
tarifs plutôt élevés au final

Nice rooms, good size. Clean.
Massively overpriced due to Taylor Swift concert

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was extremely spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was available. Lovely bar and restaurant on site.
A little tired in places and the bathroom is in need of modernising. Don’t think there should be a charge for parking!

A beautiful property inside and out, in a great location, very clean and modern with lovely staff who can’t do enough to make your stay outstanding. Absolutely love Maria at reception, couldn’t have asked for a more warm welcome!
If I had to really nit pick, an easier way for room service to be ordered. Currently you have to leave your room and head to the restaurant downstairs to order. Again, this is just nit picking and did not affect our stay in any way!

Great rooms, lovely breakfast.
3pm check in far too late. Should be earlier

The decor was lovely. The facilities were great. Loved the coffee pods in the room along with the Tunnocks teacakes. It was about a 20 minute walk to the centre in a lovely neighbourhood.
Bathroom door squeaked

Very clean, good location, good bed and a good restaurant. Good facilities and the staff were very friendly.
A few small details, a few more coffee capsules and larger cups and a sponge pillow. Also coat hooks behind the bedroom door would be nice. In the restaurant a few lumens lower in the lighting with some easy soft music would have made it tops.

The bedroom
Was a little cold
And you couldn’t control the bedroom radiator

Perfect location, nice functional room. Friendly staff. Only beds were too soft.
Beds: too soft to my taste.

Pleasant hotel with boutique vibes. Team were very friendly and welcoming. Room was compact but comfortable and clean. Location was good for where we wanted to be with cute shops and plenty of places to eat in the area. Its a bit of a walk to the main tourist areas but we weren't staying for this this time.
There wasn't anything to change on this occasion.

Room was very clean and the staff where very helpful. Great location for every where central in the city.
Nothing. It was perfect for all our needs.

Lovely staff, good location, great size room and lovely decor
A little far to walk to the centre but easy to go in with a bus, will just cost £4 return, breakfast is so so but cheap so not too bad

Room was large, breakfast excellent and location vibrant.
Whilst breakfast was very good it was sometimes under-staffed.

Hotel rooms are very spacious and clean, lovely comfortable beds and the complimentary tunnock tea cakes are delicious. Public transport right outside with bus to and from the Castle etc but also within walking distance made the whole stay enjoyable.

Vrij ruim hotel op mooie locatie, naast park The Meadows.

Rooms clean, great location, walking 15 min from the Edinburg castle, the breakfast was really good and had great variety. The staff so friendly and happy to help, definitely a place I will book again.
4.5
It was in a great location. It was very homey while still feeling like you were on holiday. The room was beautiful and had a great view over the park. The reception desk was always very helpful.
Nothing, it was great.

Nähe zur Bushaltestelle in die Stadt.
Eingang mit Treppen ohne Rampe für Koffer. Ebenfalls innerhalb der Stockwerke kleine Treppen. Unpraktisch für Koffer. Sauber wurde nur oberflächlich gemacht. Beim Check out auch keine Frage, wie es war - nur ein knappes Thank you.

Breakfast excellent, location suited our purpose, staff excellent, room comfortable.
Edinburgh City Centre prices.

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, well connected with public transportation. You can reach out the city center within 20mins walking distance. The rooms are big and have all amenities.
The breakfast is okeish, overpriced for what they offer
Reception: We arrived very early in the morning, although we knew we were not going to have our room, the receptionist did not even try to welcome us, hand us a map or anything, she sent us directly to leave our luggage.
Special upgrades: I requested in advance an upgrade amenities with prosecco bottle & petit fours to be arranged in our room upon arrival, as we were celebrating a birthday. This did not happen at all and I had to call reception, of course this ruined the surprise, as it was no longer a surprise.
Breakfast: On our first day, we were told by one of the waitress that we were allowed to continental breakfast but she never mentioned that we could actually also order other items from the menu (like eggs, porridge, etc) as it was included. She repeated twice to us, that we could only grab breakfast from the area she indicated, although I have paid for full buffet breakfast. On our third day and also last day, we were told that actually we had the right to order food from the menu as it was included, and the person in charge told us we might get a discount since for 2 days, we did not order full breakfast. When checking out, the receptionist made 0 effort to listen to us, saying that the waitress could have never said that (although she was not there) and we told her that the waitress repeated even twice her statement. The receptionist stated that it was our fault to not have checked and no refund would be possible since we did have the breakfast. The receptionist was extremely rude and also useless as no solutions were provided. We paid almost 1,000 EUR for a 3 day stay, so I believe they could have made a minimum effort.
The hotel is extremely over priced for what they offer in terms of amenities, rooms and especially service. Customer satisfaction is non existent. I do not recommend this hotel at all, especially if you are planning to do a surprise for your beloved ones.
