Location
No hot water. The 15-20 stains on the carpet. I cut a 2 night stay short as I would of rather driven home than stay another night

Very well located and nice inside. Rooms were good, nice enough - but super hot! Even turning the stat down it seemed to jump back up on its own!
Pool was feeezing so ruined our family swim time. I would note, it’s not an overly family friendly hotel.

Wonderful location, helpful & friendly staff, lovely room.
Everything apart from the coffee from the machine in the breakfast room was great.

The hotel lived up to my expectations, my room was v.good. All staff were attentive and helpful.
It is always a pleasure to stay here.
Meals/snacks not obtainable from the bar.

Check in took forever and the lady who checked us in clearly didn't want to be there. There was barely a conversation and we were checked in to a very dirty room. She told us nothing about the facilities or even breakfast. Such a shame as the hotel itself is lovely. Alan at concierge is a real asset to the hotel though.
Customer service at check in was really poor, such a shame as the hotel is fantastic. Great facilities and location.

Everything was so lovely, friendly staff, gym staff , hotel, restaurant with a gorgeous view, swimming pool opening hours were great we got to use when we got there & before we left, the room was so nice and had the perfect touches like dressing gowns/ cold water in the fridge and lovely products for hair and body.

We stay here often and usually it’s great. It was this time although we were in a slightly smaller room. The only issue was breakfast which was so busy we had to be moved to a rather soulless adjacent room with poor coffee facilities and we felt rather forgotten about. I’m sure this isn’t usual and us maybe a lesson in not arriving at the really busy times

Excellent place
Nothing was perfect

Check-in very efficient, didnt have breakfast as out with my daughter, overall feel of the hotel was of high quality.
I stayed at the same hotel when it was a Holiday inn and the new decor is great. I would stay again.
Because i stayed on a Saturday night I was concerned about noise outside from revellers and this proved to be the case but this doesnt reflect negatively on the hotel as its out of their control. My sleep was only briefly interrupted.

This was a happy and unexpected wonderful stay. Everything was so much better than I expected.
The price was very competitive and the room was fantastic. Extremely helpful staff and the top floor restaurant was a super bonus experience.
I really enjoyed my stay here.

The location was great - easy walk to town and Barbican on the Hoe. The staff were lovely and helped us with things we'd forgotten etc - loved using the pool and the bed was massive and so comfortable
2 out of 3 lifts were out of action - bit of a long haul up the stairs

This is the second time staying at the crowne plaza
It’s central, and a good hotel with leisure facilities
Pool could have been warmer. Hot tub would have been nice. We were lucky but I noticed a huge queue for breakfast when we left.

Good location , ample parking , the lifts worked
Boring and poorly thought out room for the money . £20 for a breakfast is taking the piss for starters . Hairdryer didn't work , broke . Access to shower is retrictive, to say the least. Only if your 4 feet tall can you shower not possible to wash hair only with shower head as can't detach , It leaked all over the floor from badly positioned screen and drip strip . Poor design and lack of consultancy as to what customers might actually NEED/WANT .

Location was excellent enabling us to walk to Pier 1, the location for a family wedding.
Beautiful views from the restaurant.
Very attentive, personable restaurant staff.
We didn’t want a full English with going to a wedding. Our choice however to pay.
The standard price was a lot for the continental only range which we had.
An excellent range of choices if you wanted to fuel up and skip lunch.

I like your welcoming, all facilities, swimming pool, spa, breakfast, room services and all staff helpful.
I didn't like the car parking charges.

Amazing restaurant, fantastic views
I was very pleased that there was an electric charger at the hotel, but there was only one that was operational. Fortunately we managed to get onto it after a brief wait.

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good and views were lovely.
The bed was 2 pushed together and I found this uncomfortable as I was sharing with my 2 children, so didn't sleep well.
Room was delayed and not ready for check in time, so we were waiting for 40 minutes, which wasn't ideal.
