Location and staff were great
Shower was broken and only had hot water feed was to hot and unable to shower due to hotel being full there was nothing the hotel could do to fix this
4.2
Very central for shops and museum. Staff were friendly.
Dated room. Very noisy. We requested a cot and our request was confirmed via email but there was no cot waiting. The window was locked shut (not even able to tilt open as instructed on window stickers) and the air conditioning did not work, so the room was very hot and stuffy. The noise outside was awful, even though the window was locked shut. The windows clearly do not block enough sound. It was the worst night sleep I have had in a long time. We did try to rectify these issues.
The next morning I asked the cleaner if they could open the window for us and they replied that it was not possible because some of the windows are broken and locked shut. We asked the maintenance guy how to work the air con and he said he thought it had been fixed but that it had unfortunately not been done and he would ‘get someone to look at it’ but that didn’t happen during our stay. I purchased some very good ear plugs and that helped with the following night.
4.2
Easily accessible on the outskirts of town.
The fact that you had to pay for parking
4.2
Good location near shops.
Easy walk to Plymouth Hoe.
No fitness centre.

Great location and very helpful staff
Public Car park nearby full of pigeons and skateboarders !
4.2
Staff are always very friendly, cleaners included. The rooms are always spacious. Very clean hotel
Drinks were over priced, the morning breakfast buffet isn't amazing, no vegetarian sausages unless requested but this then means that you have to wait for them to be cooked whilst eating the rest of your breakfast, croissants were stale. The smoking area was filled with dirty glasses and beer cans from the day before.
4.2
The hotel is in excellent location with good rooms, comfortable and large enough to relax and work and the breakfast are wonderful with everything needed to start the day.
Nothing

Superior Double came with some added benefits that made the stay really comfortable especially early check in. Very comfortable room. Staff were very helpful.
I am planning to return to Plymouth and will definitely stay here again.
4.2
The room was spacious and had all extras in the room like iron, and the board, hair dryer soap, coffee making tray.
Room service is available, though not used.
Most important, the bed was super comfortable, fully sprung, and not too firm which many seem to be.
The carpet and net curtain had what looked like a hot chocolate stain on them. I checked the one on the net curtain, it wouldn't come out which suggests it was washed, however, it's a first impression which lost a star from me.

Stayed here a few times and will always come back. However this night the fire alarms went off and we were evacuated from the hotel around 10:30pm. False alarm. I trouble sleeping so not good and because the lifts weren’t working i had to walk down and tben back up 8 storeys. After getting back to sleep the alarms went off again. Not good
As above

It is the 4th trip we have made formerly with Hotel Jury and now Leonardo. Always been a good hotel and still is. We, as a couple, are always very happy staying there.
There is nothing to dislike as far as we are concerned.
4.2

Pillows a bit uncomfortable
4.2
The property was just alright nothing outstanding to shout about
The property is located on a main road and the car park which is close to the hotel is not easy to find, you just miss it as you drive past the hotel. Also it’s not the best location with many of the shops etc near it boarded up. The food in the restaurant was OK nothing fantastic just OK, the breakfast in the morning was not that good just OK. staff though were all very pleasant and helpful
4.2

2 things I didn't like one of them the kettle. It was very dirty, another . There is no brush for the toilet.
4.2

low number of staff at reception and bar
4.2
Unfortunate signage and cost of car parking, although that was defined ahead of travel.
4.2
We have stayed here several times and are always impressed with courteous, helpful and friendly staff right across the hotel. It is perfectly located for our needs - close to our son's home and within easy walking distance of everywhere we wish to go. Easy to access from the our journey route and into Cornwall. We think your breakfasts are very nice indeed in a pleasant environment - food is always well topped up and it was nice this time that the plates for hot food were kept really nice and warm too! The shower is always powerful and easy to control.
We wish there was easier access to and from the car park, or even a separate car park for hotel guests.
The hotel itself is now looking worn and in need of renovation which I believe is planned with the new ownership.
We had a very slow water flow from our bathroom tap.
4.2
The room was clean, the hotel was clean, it was in a good location
The key cards had to reactivated every day, that was a nuisance, after a long day out or a late night out, you expect to be able to get into your room, not traipse downstairs to reception
4.2

Car park situation can be quite awkward
