Our room was very hot and stuffy and we had one small fan.

The hotel was very clean, and the people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast you had a lot of choices. I had a meal at night, it was delicious.

Clean room,excellent breakfast,attentive staff.
The only hiccup was a possible faulty thermostat on the shower as it changed from hot to cold and back again. However we reported this before leaving so are sure it will attended to promptly.

Good tasty breakfast and friendly staff from arrival to leaving in all areas. Bar prices are reasonable and available until midnight. iron and ironing board were brought to the room on request. Nothing was any trouble.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, easy to get taxis to and from the location. Staff were really helpful when we had forgotten phone chargers and wanted to buy crisps from the bar late at night. Room had everything we needed.

arrival was easy. late night and the chap on the desk was quick and efficient. beds were big enough
the noise level was awful. I could hear everyone and anyone in the corridor. I could hear the people in the room next door. I could hear pipe noises as if when some one was running the taps somewhere in the building this was a heard.
in the morning I could hear the house keepers full conversation. during the night at 3:40am I had to call reception to tell them there was another guest swearing in the corridor. the reception staff said they would look into it asap but whoever the guest was got into their room. another time in the night there was another guest knocking on one of the bedroom doors. in all I didn’t sleep well the whole night.

Warm welcome, room was spotless and comfortable, beds and pillows especially. Bathroom was good with good shower, it could be improved with a hand rail over the bath for the older customers. Lovely and warm and the tea and coffee was good quality and plentiful. The breakfast is such good value, wonderful choices whatever your tastes and beautifully presented by delightful staff.
We had a room with the cleaners cupboard outside so early morning noise could be a problem for some. who like a bit longer in bed. The restaurant shuts early IF its not busy, so if you are out later and planning a meal on your return, you might be disappointed. I realise in these times the need for cost saving etc but stated hours should be honoured. We ate out because of the uncertainty of service.

I paid for the super king room , which was lovely and modern.
I paid for the super king room , which was lovely and modern but the TV wasn't working correctly so had to change rooms, and the room wasn't a nice as the first , it was tired and old ...
Also, the bar area, before it was a beautiful relaxing room , with sofas and beautiful comfy chairs, why make it look like Betty's cafe . No atmosphere whatsoever.

This booking was for my Uncle who is elderly and very unsteady on his feet. He was accommodated in a ground floor room, if a little far from the breakfast room/reception. The room was warm, clean and breakfast was acceptable. I would like to thank Rebecca who was on reception when we booked in, who took on board all my concerns regarding my Uncle & his inability to wear his hearing aid🦻 She took my phone number and assured me that they would keep an eye on him. Thank you
A little expensive for the 2 nights for 1 person, £131.
