Idéal pour 2 ou 3 nuits en famille à Édimbourg

Assume we had bad weekend others probably enjoy stays here!

The receptionist was very friendly and helped as much as she could ,the apartments are clean and you can adjust heating yourself which is good as many are controlled by owner via hive remotely so not always ideal.nice you get a robe and slippers however my robe had a hole in it and the slippers would only fit women my son is size 10 they were far too small for him,I'm size 5 they were big on me so assume fit up to maybe size 8?we were left a pint of milk,teabags, coffee,sugar, washing up liquid sponge and a tea towel and 2 dishwasher tablets I just washed up though also there was a box encouraging guests to recycle that was a good thing as never seen that before,the wifi code is in the apartment and has a good signal nice layout of rooms having a TV in the bedrooms is good we didn't use them though it was generally a quiet apartment apart from the issues experienced also we were given an added hour checkout time which was helpful also there's a tea,coffee machine near reception that is available for guests during reception hours 9-7pm turned off at 7pm but free also a selection of DVDs guests can borrow.

We found having to go through the front where reception is to a lift or stairs down to the carpark then walk through the carpark to our block where our apartment was then in another lift 2 floors up and a short walk to get to our apartment was very awkward especially as we had to go through this each time we needed to leave to go out also to receive our just eat food order the 2 nights we stayed , apparently if you have a car you get a fob for the big gates at the side of the carpark where the apartments are but we came by train do unable to open the gates which are about 7 feet high there isn't any other access to the carpark/apartments I was told it costs £12.50 a day to park in the carpark and get the fob but apparently this money is given to plant new trees in Edinburgh .Secondly there were apartment issues firstly the dvd player had no power I discovered due to the scart lead being out and on the floor so put that in then the remote wouldn't work assume batteries had ran out?

Loved Edinburgh, lots to see and do, however would stay elsewhere.

Front office staff were very friendly. The 'apartment' was clean, comfortable and serviced daily. A small supermarket nearby was very convenient.

The area was rather run down and not very clean. The hotel is obviously not responsible for this.

Recommend for family and safe place.

Very nice place and friendly staff. Location is good Very late check in at 4 pm and we asked before for early check in. Difficult for those who arrive early to Edinburgh to stay outside until 4 pm. The toilet is not clean properly there is smell. Overall nice place but expensive.

Thanks to Mr. Fabio for his help and other staff all the time.

Easy place to relax and explore

Comfortable flat in a convenient location. Short walk from castle, supermarkets and restaurants. Hop on hop off bus is very close too.

Squeaky floors for those who don’t sleep through the night.

The staff was great and so was the room.

The room was great. It is essentially a 1 br apartment. You have a tv in the living room and a tv in the bedroom. The WiFi worked great and it has a fridge also. The shower is amazing. You have a rain shower head and a wand.

It’s right next to all of the strip clubs. So when you come home at night there can be some shadier people in the area.

Sehr nette Menschen an der Rezeption, gute Unterstützung, schnelles einchecken. Sehr gute Lage. Waschmaschine mit Trockner vorhanden. Aufzug.

perfect location for work and holiday trips.

The apartments are very close to the city center and just a short walk from a lot of good restaurants. The facilities are clean and quiet. A perfect location for work (as I did), but also for family travel.

The neighbours are some dodgy bars, but nothing that is too disturbing. And safety is not an issue. There is no breakfast possible, so that was a bit of a hassle every morning.

Parfait pour une famille !

Très bon emplacement (proche d'un arrêt de navette aéroport et proche de Grassmarket et du old town) : nous avons tout fait à pied, et Très confortable pour notre famille de 5 (bon équipement, deux salles de bains, une vraie cuisine). Et le petit nettoyage de l'appartement tous les jours est très appréciable pour les parents ;)

Agréable séjour avec un personnel au top.

Personnel aux petits soins, accessoires de cuisine (ouvre boîte, tire-bouchon,etc…), quelques pastilles lave-vaisselle et machine à laver, sachet de thé/café offert. Literie confortable et remplacement des serviettes au quotidien si besoin. L’emplacement est à proximité immédiate de la Old Town et de ses points d’intérêt, une offre de restauration et un supermarché également.

Bien que cela reste dans la moyenne locale de la old town et proximité immédiate, le prix est tout de même assez important. Le sol de la salle de bain n’était pas droit et ne semblait pas très qualitatif, assez perturbant. La porte d’entrée de l’appartement avait tendance à faire des bruits à chaque passage dans le couloir (elle avait du jeu dans son logement, cela donnait l’impression que quelqu’un allait l’ouvrir). Honnêtement, les points évoqués sont plutôt des points d’améliorations que des « problèmes ».

Good location, comfortable rooms and parking available.

Location near the center, but has the 3 main strip clubs next to it, which might not be for everyone. Great beds and a kitchen with appliances. Parking available.

Showerhead couldn't stay upright, and the cleaners forgot to clean our room and change our towels on the first night.

A fantastic stay!!

I’m not one to usually leave reviews but I felt it important to do so as the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The accommodation was also 5 star and I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of booking here to just BOOK IT!! We stayed here with 3 children and there was more than enough space for us all. We loved the kitchen and even chose to eat in a few nights as the kids loved it so much in there. The residence is located in an ideal central location to everything in Edinburgh. We hope to come back again soon and thank you again to all the team at the Knight Residence.

Very comfortable self catering apartment, mostly quiet but some noise at night if facing the street.

Spacious apartment, very clean, helpful staff. comfortable bed, daily service if wanted. good heating and could open windows for fresh air. Location easy to get to points of interest walking or by bus.

Some noise at night from street just outside my apartment from late arriving guests or people leaving nearby pubs and bars.

Nice place with good parking

Location was great, just a nice short walk to the centre of town. Good parking facilities.

Had troubles with the washing machine/dryer whereas the drying settings were not working. Shower in the ensuite was very difficult to set to the right temperature.

wasn’t impressed with our stay!

The room was moderne

we stated that we would arrive between half 3 to half 4. we arrived at 4:25 to find no one at the reception so we kept waiting. Eventually I had to call the emergency number because no one was at reception when I got through to them they said they were trying to do their best to see what was going on and where someone was we could hear the phone in the office ringing then the person had rang the mobile that was sitting at the desk that kept ringing it was nearly 5:10 before someone came to reception and I was still on the phone to the emergency number I had called. The guy behind reception had told me that I could hang up the phone-to the person that I was on and he would sort it out in fairness to the person that I had called emergency number to tried her best to help and I was not hanging up the phone until she came back on the line to me and then I explain to her that someone was at reception the guy at reception had explained sorry I was away, trying to checking someone else in . we were sitting there a very long time and getting very annoyed, because at 5 o’clock we had a trip to go on that I had to cancel. This wasn’t a great start to a holiday at all. We then went up to the room and realize that because there was five of us there was no pillows or duvet– at when leaving as our flight was in the evening, we ask her we leave our bags behind reception he said, of course we can we left our bags there. We weren’t ice was our stay OK it was everything all right. all so we had to go back to reception to state-that we are missing one duvet and two pillows for the pull out bed on the couch He said he would bring up the pillows and duvet etc to us when he arrived we said we would make the bed and stuff he left there was no pillows I couldn’t go out to reception anymore so when I passed reception he asked is everything OK? I said you forgot the pillows and he rolled his eyes up.

comfortable base for exploring. you can cook and wash there so save money in the end

room and parking available early, so they let us in with a smile. we’ll equiped kitchen , bath and lounge. could log into Netflix. close to castle and many pubs. supermarket round corner. parking. lift.

parking a little hard to find, make sure you follow instructions carefully. If anything it’s too comfortable and you want to stay in, instead of exploring Edinburgh
