Excellent Breakfast… lovely location quiet
We had sea view room but we had to peer over a felt flat roof. For the price could have been better

The room was spacious, very clean ,airy ,quiet with a comfortable bed & with colour co-ordinated accessories. Breakfast was excellent , plentiful & served promptly. All the staff were polite & helpful .I did not have an evening meal at the hotel.
There was nothing I did not like

Food excellent, lovely view from dinner area. Friendly staff, good service.Parking easy and location great for walks and shopping.
Our room was small compared to other hotels we have used for the same or cheaper price.Very noisy at night with lift nearby. Also very noisy pipes or aircon coming from bathroom area.

Location - comfortable rooms.
Very slow service. Breakfasts particularly poor with long wait for cooked food. Eggs very overdone and inedible. Very difficult to find an area to sit and use the bar if you are a dog owner; this is despite the fact that the hotel is advertised as ‘dog friendly’.

Room was modern and comfortable with a nice sea view. Good breakfast. Particularly friendly and helpful reception staff.
Parking arrangements weren't great, but that's not the hotel's fault. It simply doesn't have the space.

The site nearly on the beach yet near the town so we didn’t need to use the car. We could hear the sea.
The decor is modern ,bright and comfortable. The staff plentiful, attentive and efficient.
Rather rambling which made it interesting but could be a challenge.

It was a smaller bedroom than we were used to.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff.
The food in the Seafood & Grill restaurant was exceptional.
The breakfast was a little disappointing. There was lots of choice but was obviously made early and left warming until ready to serve. This meant that fried and scrambled eggs were always overcooked.

The location is perfect. This is our second visit. The room was very small although beautiful, if over-furnished. Not enough space to move around! The inland view was lovely.
Our initial reception was very off-putting. We were asked to be specific about what time we would like breakfast. It's usual to be given times between which breakfast is served. The receptionist was not pleasant when we queried this.
When we arrived for breakfast on day 1 we waited 20 minutes for coffee to be served. the service was very, very slow. The "Continental Breakfast" was poor. Bowls of tinned fruit, some pastries and one type of cereal. This is not what one expects by the term "Continental Breakfast".
These seem like very minor points - but they mattered at the time.

Cleanliness, staff and restaurant
Pillows in the bedroom were uncomfortable and it was too hot. A fan was supplied but very noisy.

We had a great dinner and breakfast
I am disabled and could not access the basement entrance. One of the staff suggested I needed to ‘pull the door harder’, which is a little insensitive to people with disabilities.

room facing the sea was wonderful
the window in our room only opened 6” and on a hot day that’s quite difficult. There is no a/c but a small fan was valuable.

very nice room exceeded sea views and bed very comfortable. also surprisingly quiet considering it was the weekend.
although clean and well equipped a separate shower would have been appreciated, but space restriction obviously made this difficult. Maybe a shower and not a bath?
