Good location by the Thames.
Very stylish room.
There was a wedding and also it was August Bank Holiday Monday but parking was difficult - in spite of a large car park.
4.5
The room was excellent very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very relaxed surroundings and excellent access to the Thames and The Mill Theatre. Staff were very friendly and professional.

This was a great little find, the rooms were very well equipped, the lady at reception was lovely and very helpful and the restaurant was fantastic!
Nothing - we couldn't fault the place!

Breakfast was good.
The surrounding area is also beautiful and that is what the hotel is capitalising on.
We booked a 'river view' suite, but discovered the next morning that our river view was actually a flat roof and the hotel infrastructure.. and the 'suite' was exactly the same as all the other rooms (our wedding party was staying in various other rooms and we saw 4 and 9 - we were in room 10).
When i’m paying £500 for a luxury room, I shouldn’t have to bring ear plugs and an eye mask.
It didn't 'feel' premium. Lights were out with holes and tat around them (see pictures). Even the shower furniture was on the wonk. Our 'river view suite', was actually a flat roof / hotel infrastructure.. and the 'suite' was near enough the same as the rooms our fellow guests were staying in.
There was a huge lump down the middle of the bed which meant we had to both roll over onto one side of the bed..
.. and we had a problem.
The radiator was making banging noises ALL NIGHT which kept us awake and so we filmed multiple times. Heathrow planes flying over head all night which, due to the radiator banging, we became acutely aware of.
The fire sensors in the room lighting everything up repeatedly.. and placed right in vision, directly over the bed.
The reception staff - some were ok, but the older lady was a total idiot with no idea how to placate a customer or to have a discussion.
Them: "Why didn't you come and tell us in the night? We would have moved you."
Us: "You told us you had no other rooms available when we checked in."
Them: "Well you're above the boiler room. No one else has complained!"
Us: "Well why are the fire sensor LEDs exposed and directly over the bed? It lights up the room!"
Them: "Everywhere has fire sensors."
We'd just been to 3 separate hotels in Iceland.. none of them had fire sensors directly over the bed or with the bright LEDs exposed..
Anyway. with no sleep, we went to use the 'luxury' shower... and it had next to zero pressure. Absolutely massive failure.
This doesn’t look or feel like a premium room experience.
Instead I’d book a cheaper hotel or simply drive up early.
I’ve stayed here with the of getting up fresh in the morning for a wedding and hosting the groom in our room during his wife’s wedding prep.

Dinner and breakfast were entirely acceptable, though having to pay for a second coffee was a bit of a …
The bedroom was described as ‘cosy’, this was so .Small but acceptable

Friendly staff, excellent housekeeping. We had a dog friendly room which was spotless, there was a dog bed, bowl, towel & treats & even a doggy guest book a lovely touch. The room was a good size with a fridge which we like when going away. Large bathroom with shower, really comfy bed which was also large . Perfect position on the river, great walks with your dog, Coppa Club restaurant very dog friendly. We will be back.
Nothing everything was perfect at the hotel. The Coppa Club restaurant is a let down with the service, once we had our meals no one bothered to come over to see if everything was ok or if we needed a drink, this happened on both nights. If it wasn’t for Katie behind the bar I think we would still be sitting waiting now. She was very friendly & helpful.

Room was lovely and as for previous stay
No extra pillows. Shower very slow flow and cold for ages until warmed up but no really hot water. Key would not open doo 2nd night so had to go to reception to get door open. 2 new keys popped under door night man very nice and obliging. No showerr floor mat 2nd night and only 2 breakfast tea bags.

It’s really pretty. Not like a generic hotel room. Love the area too. Lovely area to have a wonder as well.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, entirely as expected. Our one issue was hot water for a shower but having enquired were advised that as the boiler was at the other end of the hotel then we needed to run the water for 5 minutes or so. We did and it worked.
The restaurant attached to the hotel played music louder than we would have liked meaning conversations were harder than otherwise would be the case. Food and drink however were good.

Lovely big room comfortable bed clean with wonderful smelling toiletries. The room was also lovely and warm and on the ground floor as requested. The staff are polite and friendly and the location right by the river is fabulous.
The only gripe I have is that there wasn't a mirror on the 'dressing table'. I think whoever designed the rooms didn't appreciate that women especially need a mirror with good lighting AND nearby plug sockets for straighteners and hairdryer. Getting ready to go out was extremely difficult without these facilities.

Good amount of room in the accomodation. Not above the bar / restaurant so nice and quiet.
Our room smelt of sweat and feet. Property need to invest in some room diffusers. Was clean though.

Room/bathroom
Bed comfortable but should have been made up prior to our arrival.
No face cloths, unavailability of drinks and food from the menu.

The location is fantastic on the river, the room in clock tower was unbearbly hot even with a fan we struggled to sleep, room 84 and room 15 my kids had was very small with a Superking bed you could not move in the room...not great..we had a nice dinner and breakfast.....we couldnt park on arrival as the restaurant was full and SUP users took the spaces..that was annoying after a 5 hour drive....

nothing really, was lovely

As ever rooms very comfortable. Shower and towels - brilliant. Reception staff always very good & helpful.
As we noted before breakfast prices are very high. Also on this trip, our son who was in room 61 was disturbed by the residents in room 62. Doors banging and noise up till 0230. We never expect hotels to be silent but this did affect sleep (ie hardly any!!)

the room was very warm! we found it quiet despite the single glazing
really lovely view onto the water
Easy to park and find!
The bed was a bit too soft for us
There was no other bad items!
3.5
The staff were very friendly
The bathroom facilities were outstanding
In a good location for morning walks
The room this time round was much smaller than ones we’ve previously had and it was quite confusing when booking as they are called the same and are the same size square metre but are different in price.

Modern, clean and well located
Upgraded room, was on a noisy road/traffic lights, and above a slamming door used for the staff.

loved the location of the great house and the suite we stayed in was lovely with a comfy bed and a great shower.
Restaurant was average the cooked breakfast was Luke warm and one of the old fashioned cocktails that I ordered didn’t have any bourbon in it although they did rectify it when I pointed it out to them.

very friendly staff and helpful.
the room had no air and it was so hot. turning radiator down didn’t make much different. fan just blew hot air around. tiny window that didn’t open much, would never stay here in the summer. never slept as it was so hot.

Room was described as a cosy double and it is small but for one night we didn't mind and the decor was colourful and contemporary. Very clean and comfortable with a decent size ensuite.. As a bonus we had breakfast in the igloo outside (booked in advance) which was delicious. Highly recommend.
