The property is in a great easy accessible location with secure parking underneath and also some street parking. It’s great value for money and the staff are very helpful. The room was spacious and clean and quiet. It is only a 150m walk across the road to Rosco’s @ Chevron for dinner which is absolutely exceptional in its own right- perfect for an afternoon tea or dinner. They even have T2 tea and the pizza was delicious as was the veal scallopini. Highly recommend both places

pretty below par if i’m being honest.

the bed was very comfortable and had such a good night sleep in it

to start we walked in and the room was very dusty we noticed straight away it was everywhere and i ran my finger along the bedside table and there was a thick layer of dust on it, that’s when i came across this white sticky substance dried onto the bed side table.(I don’t even want to think what that could have been). There was also 1 robe for 2 people staying and there was also electrical cutting of wire sitting next to the kettle on the tea cups. Once we unpacked our bags after driving for 7 hours my partner went to have a shower and wash her hair and the soaps hadn’t been topped up and there was no conditioner and she wanted to wash her hair. I went down and told reception and she said she would organise someone to come clean it and top up the soaps tomorrow when they do the cleaning. Nobody came and we were out nearly all day from 10am to 2:30pm and my partner couldn’t wash her hair again. I didn’t bother complaining again because clearly nothing happened the 1st time so why would i bother again. not only we both had issues with the room but the car park was dangerous (yes it is small and tight in there but that was not the problem). The construction they had going on down there, the builders had left there nails and screws all over the ground and we nearly popped our tire, I made sure to let reception know and I didn’t want anybody else to have the same problem but surprise surprise nothing got done and the next day the same thing happened in another parking space. ( I have video evidence of it). the only good thing about nearly popping my tire they wiped the parking fee.

A very pleasant and enjoyable stay

The room was very spacious and well set out. The location was perfect for us and it was excellent value for money. We would certainly stay there again on our next trip to Melbourne.

Close to amenities, and levels of noise perfect level for a peaceful stay.

Location is perfect for access to medical appointments at the Alfred hospital.

Floor in bathroom was sticky. Limited room service / Woods cafe menu - sometimes a simple snack is sufficient.

Fantastic location!! A easy tram trip along St Kilda road. Lovely Motel our room was spacious with nice view. Great meals at Restaurant on lower level

Enjoyable stay and will stay again.

The location suited our requirements. Staff were welcoming. We found the bed very comfortable and the room was clean. We used the outside Restaurant and staff were pleasant with good food & drinks.

Traffic noise during the night was not enjoyable. In this survey in your bonus question, it mentioned that I stated a preference of a quiet room when I booked. This is totally incorrect. Now that I know you have noisey rooms, and that it was our first time staying here, I will next time request a quieter room. Please note: The only special request I made was for parking for one vehicle.

Excellent hotel to stay at. Lovely staff exceptional customer service especially Mila at front desk close to everything

The hotel is in an excellent and very pretty location on St Kilda Rd Tram stop right there five min ride into Southbank The rooms are large and extremely comfortable and clean, with lovely views Lovely carpets and decor you’d expect in a five star hotel Staff were all amazing!

There’s not much I didn’t like except the menu in the restaurant What I ordered was very ordinary and felt like it was just out of a frozen packet

Great spot, close to tram stop & restaurants. The check-in lady was very abrupt & said we were too early for check-in, so wait until it's time. Two hours later, we questioned the reception staff again. As the previous check-in lady had already checked in three families by then & she had totally ignored us. A lovely young man working on reception finally checked us in, after the official check-in time.

The attitude of the original check-in lady, I think she was in charge.

It was an ok experience.

The view and the room conditioner kept the room cool at all times…

A small microwave would have been good at the property,in rooms or in the lounge area , also the beds were not attached, had to push them to attach several times a day….also the house keeping was about to come into the room without our convent which was a bit uncomfortable,if nobody is answering they should come back or inform the reception rather than just barging in.

Location is good

It’s getting a little tired and dirty over the last 6 months. Couldn’t book direct as no one would answer the phone I phoned 9 times and ended up booking through booking.com .

Hotel was cheap but would never stay again.

The location

Our door to the room didn’t lock or even close. We had to wait 11/2 for another room to be made which was fine. It’s very hard to sleep when two people are in the bed and the top doona does not fit the bed. Breakfast was very average.

Die Aussicht war ins Nachbargebäude, dafür war der Preis in Ordnung. Der Spa-Bereich war leider geschlossen. In der Dusche sollten die Fugen in den Ecken erneuert werden.

The lift doesn’t stop at certain level even though on the way down because of the configuration of the system, it will serve only first come first serve and takes a long time to wait for your turn.

Decent place but could use a renovation.

Decent location right across from Albert Park and walkable to St Kilda. Big room was nice and good in room amenities. Great staff!

Our room was very dusty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was also a leak in the roof and water collected on the window sill.

In general, the experience was pretty good. It should have been perfect if lifts were working well

The cleaner tidy up the room every day and the performance was beyond expectation. I used to request swapping room to make all family members living next to each other and receptionist took it seriously and tried the best and we were satisfied with it. There was a jug of jellybeans and Easter egg on the table next to the lift and it was pretty good for the family with kids. My daughter really loves that.

One of the lift was not working is not working at all during the Easter Holidays. Another lift was not working properly and we pressed both up and down buttons in our level but in most cases it did not stop at our level. Sometimes we need to wait for more than 5-10 minutes to go into the lift. If we were in a hurry we need to climb down through the stairs.
