We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel.

Lovely room
Friendly staff
Vandalism to cars in the car park
Lots of warning but sad to see so many people with their windows smashed.
Appreciate that the car parking is not yours but it’s all around the hotel and leaves a terrible impression on those who suffer from the vandalism/ theft. You need to lobby the police to get on top of an issue that should be easily sorted. For this reason I would not be able to recommend that friends stay here.

Everything! It felt like home while still delivering the full five star experience. The staff were all so nice and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and all the little things and attention to detail made the whole experience one we thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back.
The only thing was that the quilt on the bed was too small for the size of the bed. If we hadn’t brought our own king size quilt with us we would have had trouble getting both of us covered. That being said the mattress was very comfortable as were the sheets and if I had asked for another quilt I am sure it would not have been a problem getting one .

Everything was awesome!
The pool and gym are across the road in another building

Location and nice comfortable room
Cups in room way toooo small especially if you wanted a cup of tea. Would have been nice to have a complementary biscuit or chocolate in room

Breakfast was good. We had pancakes one day and they were a decent size, but then the next few days they shrank to a third the size. Hotel staff were happy to hear my compaint and help.
Cafe service kitchen was very slow and messed up orders.

We had an “upgrade” to a heritage room. For me , it was a darkish old style room . I like new and modern which is why I’d booked a deluxe king room. The room was ok but not really to the standard I expected.
The hotel is lovely and would come again but would insist on a new modern room.
As above

Heaps of free parking on the weekend. Lovely bathroom. Very nice margarita and also a good morning coffee. My daughter enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The hotel itself is lovely with a wonderful history and original features.
The room was nice but a bit cramped with the couch parallel to the bed and only a little room in between.

room good- restaurant excellent, gym ok, pool and sauna needs revamp
pool and sauna needs revamp.

Bed was very comfortable, it was lovely sitting in the bar area with fire blazing and having a meal
In my view self parking costs are a bit excessive.

Was very clean, staff were excellent
There was no negative comments about our stay

Room service, room size, extra bed for our child, breakfast buffet, Bell service, parking, house keeping, staff service was all excellent. Everyone was very helpful. All and any issues were resolved very quickly.
I would have preferred a big fluffly or thick doona on the bed, especially for winter...but the blanket was very thin and felt cold. I adjusted the room's heating to feel comfortable but still it would have been nice to have a lovely thick bed cover to snuggle in.

Beautiful hotel immaculately clean and presented, staff can't do enough for you.
The menu in the Tea lounge could have a little more variety. A glass of wine 30.00 ?

Clean and luxurious. Really interesting decor.
The evening buffet dinners were always booked out. I assume it was the airline staff that stayed there block booking it, which made it impossible for us to get a table for dinner. Whatever the reason, it was a pain as there are no other places nearby.

Grand old style hotel. Reminds us of our trip to Asia staying in Raffles.

Comfortable bed large room clean and tidy
A lot of noise from other rooms

Breakfast was great.
Dinner was OK but felt like eating in a hotel foyer.
Also the pool, spa & sauna were great - all just the right temperature
Free parking would have been helpful.
I asked for chamomile tea bags and the tea bags were just dropped at the door & we didn't realise for an hour that this was the case. A wider selection of tea bags would have been good.

The hotel was fantastic- the room, bathroom, service were exceptional. LOVED the breakfast buffet.. really good value for money and great coffee that’s included in the buffet. Very accomodating with an extra bed, extra water and ice each day.
The mid week dinner buffet was not value for money. $49 an adult and 2 hot meat dishes and 2 pasta dishes to choose from. There needs to be more options. Generally speaking the food/drink/coffee prices are higher than any other place ($8 a small coffee)
4.5
The room was spacious. The bed and pillows were so good, I slept very well. Buffet breakfast was lovely. The bathtub was very good, large and even better with complementary bath salts.
When we arrive there was a dirty nappy in the bin next to the tv, they came and got it straight away but still. The distance from room to car was far.

We had 2 joint rooms for a family of 5 - very spacious and clean with beautiful views across the lawn and trees. Room service was very good.

Location was ideal, the facilities are acceptable, the staff were very helpful. Font desk could have been a little more informative. Bar was good food was good. Serving staff were great
Room was not very clean. bathroom was acceptable. However, we found cockroach in the bed and reported it to the front desk on our departure. I did take a photo but was not asked to produce it.

Beautiful space used for my wedding morning and weekend, felt like a princess staying in this hotel!

Good variety
Not a lot of gluten free options
4.5
Warm friendly staff at check-in, good accessibility from on-site parking (at additional cost), great atmosphere created by dedicated staff and a great building. Dining was excellent, comfortable beds and decent sized rooms made for a very enjoyable stay.
Maybe parking could be cheaper or complimentary.
4.0
The food and the pool.
The room wasn’t great with TV to the side of the bed and old technology.
4.5
friendly staff, late checkout, easter chocolate
car park not the best - a bit too far from main entrance
4.5
The staff were great and helpful. Whilst the amenities were great esp for my son
Our room had a little bit of a damp smell and was constantly hot considering we were located in the ground level. We thankfully had air conditioning to assist with the heat but not with the smell.
4.5
Its architecture, history and grounds
There were cobwebs on windows and some marks on walls
3.0
Facilities and rooms were clean and well maintained. Location was central to our travel needs.
Service of hospitality staff was very slow and on multiple occassions orders were misplaced or forgotten. Breakfast service on Saturday was slow with eggs from the egg bar unavailable until we had completed our meal.
Finally, the noise from the wedding reception on Saturday night prevented us from sleeping until after midnight.
1.5
Good location, very clean but we seem to have an unusual amount of problems
Moved twice because of problems with rooms. Air conditioning not working in first room, air conditioning very noisy in next room. Third bedroom good. Bar ran out of snacks, apparently because it was Sunday. It’s like service was on a day off.

This hotel is really a very nice hotel to stay at and it was our second time staying at the Hyatt. The room was a good size and very comfortable with a great outlook to the lake. The hotel is in a really good location and was close to the lake and many attractions. The hotel served very good coffee and the room service meals were excellent.
Some of the front staff could have been a bit more helpful especially when checking into the property but not a major criticism.
4.0
It’s old fashioned and comfortable. The beds are gorgeous. Bathrooms big and deep baths. There is a lovely garden to sit in and have impromptu lunch at any time. It’s very central, and on the weekend, parking is free.
The pool is inside and smells strongly of chlorine.
Our shower leaked, but it had great pressure. Lovely toiletries and bathrobes, no balconies to speak of.
