An attractive, efficient and friendly hotel situated in walking distance of the centre of Norwich

The 31 rooms are situated in five buildings. The beautiful building we were in had just four rooms. Ours was large and well-equipped. The hotel has beautiful gardens with shady places to sit on very warm days. The restaurant is able to provide a good breakfast and well-prepared evening meals. The staff were always available, helpful and pleasant.

There was nothing to dislike.

A neat little hotel with efficient polite and smart staff.

Excellent professional staff. Good location just 15 mins walk to the centre or a 5 min walk to bus stops. Good breakfast and evening meal.

Excellent all round - Breakfast choice is vast and good quality. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and a lovely spa bath

Relaxing and comfortable stay.

Was at first surprised and slightly disappointed to discover that breakfast would be table service rather than buffet but in practice it was excellent with everything brought to the table efficiently just as we ordered. Room was a good size and spa bath a bonus. Also the shower was easy to work which isn’t always the case! The fridge was a useful bonus too. Room was cleaned and biscuits refreshed every day.

good stay in a lovely city

the room was excellent, spotless, plenty of space, super walk in shower, the breakfast was also very good, with good efficient friendly service. the hotel has good parking and is only a 15 minute walk fro the city centre.we will definitely stay there again.

Really nice, the staff were great, breakfast perfect , will definitely stay again just not in the room we had…

Very clean, bright and nicely decorated

Our shower was not working properly, couldn’t turn the hot tap off, nearly scolded feet in the bath. Reported it but not fixed. Bathroom quite dated , needs upgrading . Had to use shower in mums room instead, which was a fantastic shower / unit.

Lovely stay in a beautiful hotel - will always come back here

Been before and enjoyed our stay last year and thought we would go back again. Lovely location, lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is amazing

Lovely accommodation but menu needs some attention.

The warm welcome and room/en-suite facilities were very comfortable.

The restaurant was very light and well presented. The menu choices were uninspiring however and the food was not great. Adequate but not memorable.

Good location to city centre, friendly staff, clean hotel and excellent food and service.

Really enjoyed the stay. We walked into Norwich which took about 15 minutes.

Our room was very comfortable. There was ample parking. The receptionist was very welcoming as were the staff who were serving breakfast. My partner needed help to use the coffee machine and this was provided.

Not keen on chocolate bourbons ha ha. Not clear if okay to drink the tap water and someone did ask this.

Loved the place and would certainly return if we were to visit Norwich again.

We stayed in Norwich for a gig at Epic Studios. Walking distance to town and although on the A11, it is set back from the road and very quiet. Room 11 was enormous! On the corner of the building with large windows giving plenty of light. Very large & comfortable bed and the en-suite has a bath. Table service at breakfast was also a nice touch. Makes a change from the standard 'help yourself' buffet.

We could not find fault with anything. Our expectations were met and exceeded.

Overall, a pleasant stay in spite of the loud snorer next door!

The staff were friendly and let us check in early. The bed was really comfortable and we got a good night's sleep (mostly). The breakfast was actually quite good and the lady that served us in the morning was very friendly. She gave me extra marmalade for my toast.

There was a very loud snorer next door. The walls were a bit thin and we couldn't sleep because it was so loud. We ended up waking up at 5am and watched the tv instead. Even with the TV on, we could still hear the snoring.

Lovely setting with friendly staff close to the centre of Norwich

Great huge room, very welcoming staff, lovely setting. A short walk into Norwich city centre.

First night the room was slightly chilly but much warmer the second.

The room was nice and clean plenty tea and coffee The Staff where nice and friendly nothing to much trouble. The location was great 2 min walk to town.
