Room was very average, poor heating,I'm pretty sure its where booking.com customer's are housed.Went for breakfast and was immediately told on entering that it was a cooked buffet breakfast only to find out half way through it that there was a cooked to order option aswell.

Location
Could have had a better ‘ feel’
4.2
Beautiful, atmospheric interior.
A little tired in the restaurant, and staff wandering through with breakfast buffet refill was slightly weird.
4.2
Close to town, comfortable, staff all friendly and helpful.
Nothing really, but only Luke warm water on Sunday morning, so couldn’t shower.
4.2
eccentric and a historic building. breakfast excellent. amazing trip in an old Bentley car, within the room price!
noise from plumbing or ventilation.
4.2
great location
over powering decorations
complacent waiting staff
electric radiator dried out the air in the room

Room was small, but nice and cozy. Location is perfect for exploring Norwich and the bar area is perfect to grab a drink or 2 in.
No hot water in the morning, whatsoever. It was -3 that morning, so no way you could really have a cold shower. No offer of anything by way of apology or even an apology when checking out. Really annoying as we had to go out for the day having not showered.

Staff, reception, the building itself and positioning of hotel in City
NO hot water on our final morning for a shower!! Room 404
I did leave a note on their survey form but have heard nothing

Nothing but I did notice it wasn’t wheelchair friendly.

Nice hotel in a good location
Breakfast was very average, the buffet looked and tasted as if it had been there for days. An £8 parking charge for an on-site car park!

I booked this hotel for two nights for my husband’s 60th birthday, so I wanted somewhere special and the Maids Head Hotel was just perfect for this occasion. The hotel was everything we wanted, location, our room was spotless, beds were comfortable, cooked breakfast was superb and we even had a view of the cathedral from our room which was stunning to see, I would definitely recommend anyone to who is staying in Norwich to stay at The Maids Head Hotel. (One more thing seeing the beautiful old Bentley cars that the hotel own is a must you can even ask to have a tour of Norwich in one ) 🙂..
Nothing to report.
4.2
Location is very good
I had not realised that there was an old and a newer part of hotel. We were given a room in older part of hotel - lots of stairs to get to room - no porters. I would have preferred a room in side of hotel with a lift.
Breakfast bar needs more labels on hot food - impossible to see what was under lids - had to lift all of them to find out
Hotel felt a bit 'tired'. Use of artificial flowers in one of the areas didn't help

Was my first trip to Norwich and couldn't have selected a better hotel. The location was perfect being in between the Castle and Cathedral and within easy access of some excellent bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly & professional. The hotel itself has amazing character, very spacious and clean throughout with excellent facilities. Definitely recommend their bar and breakfast buffet.
Can't think of any adverse feedback.

The room was really spacious and beautifully furnished. You can see that a lot of thought has gone into making the stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, which is much appreciated.
There's nothing I can pin point really. I stay in a lot of hotels with my work and The Maids Head is probably the best!
4.2
Good location.
Overpriced and poor choice of food for breakfast.
4.2
Everything was excellent but there was an issue with Breakfast.
The staff are young and did not seem to be on the ball. Food trays were running empty and took prompting from several guests to get the recharged. We had finished our breakfast before the Coffee arrived. Tables stood full of dirty crockery and even tables with guests still eating were allowed to pile up with used dishes. For at least a 5-minute period there were no staff in the restaurant at (we ate on Saturday 29th between 9:15 and 9:50). Oh, and my wife told me that the poppy seed muffins were "simply disgusting" reducing to a paste like mulch in her mouth. It was the only blip in otherwise excellent stay.

The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The breakfast had a variety to choose from and having 24hour room service was the icing on the cake. The room itself catered for every thing that I needed. It's safe to say that I will definitely be booking again.

Superb Location. Sadly our original room was very small. We were moved after a problem with the main room lights. The move was to an upgraded bedroom. Well done to the team.
