Relaxing stay near the beach.

The sea view was excellent and the small villas were good. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially the cleaning staff, pool staff and the restaurant staff. The swimming pools were excellent.

The reception staff, although very friendly, appeared a little vague at times. There were no restaurant or bar options within a walk of the hotel

اغطية الاسره تحتاج الى تجديد.. الحشرات في الغرف.. ولكن عندما اخبرناهم قاموا برش الغرف بالمبيدات.. اتمنى توفير انشطه مثل كرة الريشه والدراجات ونشاطات اخرى..

Heerlijke luxe en comfortabel verblijf in Club Dolphin; een plek om echt even bij te komen!

Club Dolphin was een prachtig hotel en wat een ontzettende aanrader! Een oase van luxe en comfort na 3 weken rondreizen door Sri Lanka hebben we daar voor vertrek nog 4 dagen doorgebracht om nog even bij te komen en te relaxen voordat we zouden terugvliegen. Alles is heel comfortabel; een uitgebreid en groot restaurant met een enorme keuze a la carte en buffet met fantastisch vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke bedden, een mega groot en zalig zwembad. Iedereen doet z'n uiterste best om het naar je de zin te maken. BOok de WIFI was heel erg goed. Kortom, dit hotel is echt een aanrader!

The hotel is lovely with great facilities and a beautiful setting. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very positive.

The food was nice but wasn’t the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka.

Very good place to relax.

The location was amazing. Staff was friendly. They put me in the chalets in the western section, very comfortable and facing the ocean, but the rooms were old and in need of renovation. The opposite section was modern and beautiful rooms, but crowded and noisy. I'm very happy with my room.

Rooms need renovation. Dogs everywhere. Staff did not speak English well. They let us wear wristbands to sort the guests according to the meals, I guess, and I don't think it's a good idea at all.

Exceptional

This hotel was such an amazing discovery!!! It made our first visit to Sri Lanka so much memorable!!! The location is great, it’s right by the ocean, has amazing facilities like huge pool, spa, gym, even a theatre where we had pleasure to watch some funny performances in weekend) The stuff was the most loveliest, friendliest and attentive I’ve ever met, we were feeling so welcomed, it was our home for 10 days Looking forward to coming back next year!!!

very pleasant stay

I stayed four nights here. Hotel is so beautiful and got lots of activities to do. Staffs are friendly and kind. They are very helpful during my stay. Food is delicious and room services is great. Very safety accommodation for women who staying alone. Overall The stay was pleasant.

Very good

Staff, restaurants, facilities,gift shops, room size, Spa, bed comfort, view from balcony were all excellent.We felt welcome all the time and everyone was treating us with smiles and respect. It was a great escape and the hotel was an excellent option in Srilanka.

This is only for review but not a complaint: 1. I visited Kids club multiple times during my stay and it was never opened. Staff were always at lunch break ! 2. Insects. All kinds, and despite being careful considering I have a baby and the doors were always closed, i found many in my room until the Room Service supervisor came with pest control and sprayed all the room. I would suggest you ask for pest control before you enter the room and do the same every couple of days. 3. The area is a little remote and no deliveries come to the hotel so I would suggest going with the Full Board since the hotel restaurant offers delicious food. 4.If you have kids, don't book upper rooms because when it starts raining heavily, the roof will sound like shooting is going on and my kids wake up several times crying in the middle of the night because of the sound. 5. no water pressure, not the sink, not the shower, nor the bidet.

What makes our experience in new country memorable? Nature? Food? People ! We had fantastic time in Club Hotel Dolphin! The ocean, sunsets and sunrises, away from the crowds and hotel STAFF ! The friendliest, warm-hearted and sincere people I’ve met. Massage therapists are great! Love Balinese massage technique. Try it once you are there! Dolphin resort had impeccable service and support from the staff, who were alwyas courteous and ready to help at all times. The food service had a good variety and all the flavors were on point. The facilities were great and up to date, prompting a wonderful stay. I’d recommend this resort to everyone who would like to enjoy beautiful Sri Lankan beach and weather in a comfortable resort, and reach utmost relaxation. No sand flies like in Malaysia Thank you guys very much for your hospitality! We will be back soon!❤️❤️❤️

the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was clean and tidy, while the landscape was marvelous

Excellent stay in a superb location

Excellent location in Waikkal near the beach. Delicious breakfast buffet and outstanding diner buffet. Best dessert buffet in whole Sri Lanka. Really nice and very large swimming pool. Great rooms with superb ocean view. Excellent stay!

On our arrival there was a small issue with the number of pax in our reserveration. We made a reservation for 5 persons but it seemed that Booking only announced 4 persons (our 10 year old son was apparently not announced to the reservation desk). However, the issue was quickly solved, thanks to the fast and flexible approach of the very hospitable staff.

Great location - easy to access from airport. Pools and beach ideal for families. Food choice across all mealtimes is really varied and suitable for all tastes. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and attentative. Made our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to go back.

Perfect getaway !

The check in was smooth the villa was spacious nice and clean got a large pool which we didn't get to use the food was nice and HK has done a good job as we requested occupied service and the villa has been nicely maintained by the engineering dep. so overall it was really nice and i did enjoy the stay

the buffet has to improve as pastries were not that upto standard, would like to see more spread on the buffet, the staff need to have the human touch as i notcied most of the staff are keen on talking to foreigners but not to locals as hoteliers staff should talk to both foreign and sri lankan guest too. when ordered room service and when i left the plate outside it was not cleaned till the next morning so few things to improve.

Club dolphin resort

Restaurant, bar, reception and concierge staff all very nice. Food was very good although not enough Sri Lankan food and too much spicy Indian. Great swimming pool area.

Pool staff weren't very friendly and pool bar closed to early with no warning of last orders. Didn't ever see the manager around the hotel or in any restaurants to chat with guests, infact never even met him! Also didn't like the fact they had 2 dogs not friendly being trained to fight off other dogs that were friendly out the resort, just put gates on the fence to keep out strays, we saw their dogs quite fierce chasing them out.
