The beautiful view, the silence and the room set up with a fantastic book collection

Nice area to stay and cosy
Seeing the tractors and dirt road around the lake/pond

The location was fantastic and the gardens were lovely.
The rooms certainly weren’t as nice as the photos showed. They were comfortable enough, however were outdated.

very pretty location and building

Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Location close to nice eating places.
Bathroom was a little cramped. Location not ideal for scenic walks.
4.1
quiet, delightful garden (unfortunately disturbed by builders digging new land drainage )
the property was supported by the owners Mother, “Bev” a very pleasant and understanding help when we needed advice on a slight problem, resolved and working within minutes.

Great location - easy to drive to many famous places in the area. Calm countryside setting. 4 mins drive or 15 mins run to the beach. Spacious rooms. Easy check-in.
I stayed in a room downstairs and could hear a lot of noise from upstairs (TV, steps etc.) that made it a bit difficult to sleep (had to sleep with earplugs). Not much available walking distance so you pretty much need a car to get around.

We very much appreciated the great location, convenient located in the centre of the Margaret River, including the combination with winery, restaurant and Teahouse. And thanks again for the great flexibility with the Check-out.

Excellent location, close to beaches, and a large variety of restaurants at Dunsborough, 12km away. Margaret River wine region is a 30 minute drive away. The property itself is very serene and has a very country feeling about it. There are tea rooms next door to the lodge. Highly recommended.

The garden at the back is nice with a dam and lots of ducks and other birds. The bed/matrass was pretty good. The WiFi was also good. We received extra towels after about 3 days (thanks!). The nearby Margaret River area is beautiful (but you have to drive, there's not really any walking possible from Sienna lodge, it's situated on a busy road crossing outside town).
Service: Bad and nearly non-existent. The self check in instructions emailed to us the day before arrival did not work: 1) The key was not in the lock box (which they unprofessionally blamed on the previous tenant..). 2) There was no-one on premise to help us getting into the unit. 3) No-one picked up the phone number provided. 4) There was no-one at the Cape Lavender Tea House (we arrived at 3pm and the check-in instructions stated there will be someone between 9:30-5pm). Eventually an email I sent via Booking.Com seemed to have worked and someone phoned us back later. The person speaking to us apologised repeatedly, and said we can just say what we want in return. I repeated my statement in the email to them (never received a reply) requesting the first night (of 7) for free, as it was impossible for us to relax the first night after not being able to check in or get anyone to speak to upon arrival. They never said no to this request, but instead gave us a bottle of wine to compensate (which everyone gets it seems from reading the other reviews!) and promised us free morning tea the next day. We did not get the free morning tea though. Instead, we were overcharged (at the Cape Lavender Tea house) and had to queue again and wait and I had to add up the amounts and proof to them their obvious mistake before we got the refund. After that, we tasted our wine and one glass seemed to be the wrong type of wine. The manager/cashier at the entrance was very cocky when I complained and ask about the wine (remember, this was after not being able to check in, being overcharged, no free morning tea as promised, etc.).
Hygiene: The room smelled like old food when we at last got a key and entered it. It later turned out to be the extraction fan in the kitchenette. The small was worse when the fan was turned on, so we couldn't cook. There was a hair on the toilet upon arrival. Water dripped from the ceiling when the noise tenants upstairs showered. Sigh..

We had a very comfortable stay at Sienna Lodge! The place was cosy and contained everything we wanted. The staff were attentive and easily contactable. Beautiful location- close to the beach, wineries and a short drive to Dunsborough. We had a lovely stay!

Great location. Awesome little set up
Lack of cleaning items. Broom, dustpan and brush, mop.
Under the bed had 12 months worth of dust. And dirty tissues.

Comfortable and spacious room in a convenient location and great value for money. The staff were super helpful and very apologetic when we had an issue with the room and even left us a nice gift to say sorry!
Parking was the only issue as other guests parked quite inconsiderately so we couldn't park in front of the accommodation - luckily there was parking available just next door at their cafe so it wasn't a huge deal.

Location. Lovely views from back of lodge's.
Room 5 standard was very basic. Views of road and car park. Could hear all movements from upstairs. Wouldn't stay again unless other rooms were better than this one.

The garden and location are phenomenal. The check-in and stay were very easy and relaxing.
The rooms and amenities are a bit on the older side however they are still nice and satisfactory.
