A lovely small house in the vineyard, good location

It was a lovely box house in the vineyard where you can view all the trees just like we saw on the ads. The house & kitchen were well equiped and the location was wonderful. Generous welcome wine and the house was new & clean. It was close to Dunsborough so we can enjoy wineries, shops, cafe and restaurants without having to drive too far at all. The pateo was relaxing. We enjoyed the bed room set in the 2nd floor, the view was very enjoyable.

I felt everything was a little too auto-set. Didnt receive any response to enquries. The house was lovely but tiny. I could not find anywhere to do my hair and makeup comfrotably. The sink was also too small and it was too hard to wash face etc. The air-con wasnt effective enough to cool the lounge and kitchen area. It was so warm.... I felt quite exposed as well as there was no blind or curtain at the large front glass door & windows.

Exceptional

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation is amazing and the owners have thought of everything when designing it. The deck is the perfect way to relax and enjoy a glass of wine taking in the beautiful surroundings. I have never stayed somewhere that is so well insulated and sound-proofed. All the doors and windows are double glazed so you can completely relax and enjoy a great sleep in :) We will definitely be returning.

We will stay here again. Just need to bring few more things. Great value for money. Really enjoyed our time.

Perfect location. Central. Can drive everywhere in minutes. Fantastic views and property

No tissue papers. No toiletries. No curtains on front window that faces bathroom.

Peaceful and relaxing

Location was great, close by to many different wineries/breweries and only 10 min drive to dunsborough

Great stay for few days to explore the Northern Margaret River region

Great little self contained property that had everything we needed for a few nights stay to explore the northern Margaret river area. Beautiful and modern with a great well equipped kitchen and BBQ on the deck overlooking the vines. Also a great restaurant on the property which I would recommend.

The property didn't have a TV but a projector instead and an iPad but we couldn't get it working unfortunately so didn't end up using that. It didn't really bother us as the starry night sky on the deck with some music and a wine was not a bad option anyway.

absolutely brilliant thanks

the Barn Hives are in a beautiful location, even though there is six you get a view of the vine yard and don’t see your neighbours from the deck. it’s a relatively small building but once your in it, it feels very spacious and luxurious.

There wasn’t much to dislike at all, even the lack of a television was a plus. it was so relaxing and the view was stunning.

Awesome location, friendly staff

location is incredible, views out across the vineyard and you have Smiths Beach a short drive round the corner and Caves Road with all its wineries in the other direction

Fantastic

General set up. Ambience and local amenities As soon as we entered the accommodation we fell in love with the place, very well set up with fantastic choice of furniture, accessories and music.

Tried to book for Easter but fully booked My Wife wanted a micro wave but… I don’t care
