Probably the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in.

Stunning and comfortable room. Lovely public space downstairs. Delicious breakfast. Nice staff. Great location.

The entrance to car park was not clearly signed. The swimming pool was very small.

This place is a gem amd what a lovely welcome we had. Conrad and his team are amazing, the rooms and the whole hotel is decorated with taste, the service is perfect and the breakfast is from heaven. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to extend the magic in Franschhoek and have an exceptional experience. We opted for the room with private pool, gorgeous!! Thank you The Last Words for welcoming us last minute in your beautiful hotel, we will for sure come back

Slice of heaven

There aren't enough words to describe what a little slice of heaven the Last Word is. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Conrad and his team were so welcoming and attentive to all our needs. They were helpful and informative, giving you advice on things to do but also space to explore. The attention to detail is unmatched. Small gestures such as a thoughtful dessert on your bed at the end of the day, were just some of the ways they made our stay special. The facilities are luxurious, the location is perfect for exploring Franschhoek on foot. The only negative feeling we had during our entire stay was having to leave. Would recommend 100 times over. Thank you!

Excellent Food, Staff and Location! Fabulous and welcoming!

The whole experience was fantastic. We felt so welcome and at home. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the area and what it has to offer.

I would suggest they could consider changing the layout of the parking bays.

Very pleasant breakaway.

It is a beautiful property within easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Franschoek, yet it is peaceful. It is beautiful maintained and decorated. The staff are fantastic and the service excellent.

Extremely agreeable we will return

Beautiful decor; large rooms, lovely pool and patio area, honesty bar and delicious breakfast and extremely helpful staff

We should have booked a room overlooking pool instead of room 4, but it was our first visit. Next time we will know our preferred room thans to Franklyn who showed us around.

The hotel has very spacious and comfortable rooms.

The location is great if you want to be in the middle of town and explore the town on foot. There is a spacious lounge area with a honesty bar - alcoholic drinks are charged but all other non alcoholic drinks are complimentary. We had a lovely turn down service with pudding and candles.

The parking was very tight and there are no signs to indicate that there is alternate off street parking at the back of the hotel.

The service was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the rooms were very comfortable with a great bathroom. the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere in such a busy town. I can't wait to return very very soon. :D

Our stay at The Last was very nice. The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful

The breakfast was very nice, the croissants were our favourite. We also liked that you got the bed ready for us at night whilst we were out and put water and dessert for us, that was really thoughtful. Of course the welcome drinks (wine) also. The decorations are just out of this world and the heated floors.

There is nothing we didn’t like.
