Lovely picturesque hotel

Rama Shinta is comfortable, quiet, with a beautifully maintained small garden. Staff were really helpful. And the pool was great. We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the hotel restaurant a few times as the food was really tasty.

Good, but used to be better :(

I love the location of this hotel. The lotus lagoon is beautiful, and its super close to Vincent's restaurant, and other good warungs.

This was my 3rd stay at the Rama Shinta and it felt run down. No welcome drink was provided upon arrival (they used to have the best one!) There was no table or luggage rack to put luggage on. Toiletries provided (Shampoo & body wash) were cheap, and in cheap dispensers. The gardens didnt seem as well kept... and the fountains werent working properly. We lost power and WIFI for almost a whole day (not the hotel fault) but it would have been nice to receive something in return. A free drink or food credit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rama Shinta in Candidasa. The hotel staff were fabulous.

Room only that really suited our stay in Candidasa. Used the hotel facilities when needed.

Not enough sunbeds but space was limited.

Great hotel, wonderful service.

Small traditional hotel. Everything very well maintained. Gardens tended daily. We had Deluxe room. Super clean, even under the bed. Large room, bathroom huge. Tea, coffee sachets provided, with kettle and large container of water. Loved no plastic bottles. Serviced daily, Nice seating area out side room. Only a few steps to gaze at the lily lake, and a few more to watch the ocean. Large supermarket close by. We had breakfast included, wow, plenty of options, full cooked breakfast was delicious. Team could not do enough for you, committed to making sure you were happy. Lovely clean pool, plenty of decent sun beds. Pool towels provided. Open from about 8 am to 8 pm. Cleaning takes place before and after these times. Books to borrow in a variety of languages available. We would certainly stay here again. The photo is of the room next door, as forgot to take ours before we made a mess.

Exceptional hotel for a relaxing stay

Rama shinta is ideal for a relaxing stay right next to the lily pond in Candidasa. Comfortable room, lovely gardens and pool, good breakfast. most important we’re the lovely very helpful staff.

Lovely cottage park

Pleasant small cottage park with very friendly personel. We were helped with all our questions. Scooter rental was easy and affordable. Taxi was arranged by them at very reasonable price. The area is well-kept with near-perfect garden and a pleasant small pool area.

The park is not at the beach. The beach area close by is OK but not great. There is not much to do in Candidasa (No fault of the hotel off course)

A hidden gem with fantastic prices.

A small boutique Bali hotel. From check in to check out it was peaceful, relaxed, clean and immaculately presented. Sustainable practices are everywhere including the refillable water jugs, bath soap and shampoos. Not a little plastic single use item to be found. Bedding and linen was clean and fresh. It was exceptionally well priced for a family of four with interconnecting rooms. Our included breakfast was a limited selection of main dish, fruit salad or fresh fruit juice or coffee or tea. Even our fussy eater found a breakfast choice each morning and our family favourite juice is now banana juice. The restaurant was simple style cooking with fresh ingredients and very tasty. The pricing for both food and beverages was charged to the room with payment on checkout including our room price.

A relaxing oasis

Everything in particular the friendliness of all the staff! Food in general was tasty and fair priced compared to other local restaurant. Lovely and relaxing atmosphere

A perfect gem in Chandi

Every member of staff were polite helpful and cheerful. the small property felt very welcoming. lived the bathroom. exquisite landscaping and very very clean.

Nice hotel for eldery people, who wants to relax

The Hotel is very Clean. The room is nice and the beds comfy. The Pool area is really nice for refreshing. The staff is friendly and engaged, but it often seems superficial.

-A second trashpin at the patio would be nice, at the Moment there is only one trashpin in the bathroom. - At the Restaurant 21% tax comes additionally on top, which is way too much - on our Last day a Group of new people came, everybody got a welcome Drink, mosquito Spray and a explanation about the area and Name of the Hotel......its sad that apparently only Special guests get welcomed Like this - We wanted to use the Pool in the afternoon/evening But the Restaurant already prepared everything for the night (Pool ist in Front of the Restaurant) and closed the Umbrellas and removed the Beanbags....we felt not comfortable to Go swimming Then - the Location.....Candidasa is more for eldery people and there is Not that much to do

Good value at great location

huge balcony upstairs with a small ocean view and a beautiful view of the lotus pond. central location. good value for money. nice pool. friendly staff. 30 meters from a tiny beach!

the building and room is a bit basic, restaurant food was just ok. the towel cards for the pool were really weird for a small size hotel like this, but not a problem.

beautiful little hotel. All of the staff are amazing and helpful and it really is a little oasis right next to lotus pond. food was great and the service was wonderful. highly recommend.

I could live here, it’s that pleasant!!

The staff at RamaShinto are very friendly and professional. They made me feel right at home. I loved the feeling of being right in the middle of a beautiful garden! The hotel and gardens are well taken care of by the energetic staff. The Lotus garden and the beach steps away are a bonus!!

We stayed 6 nights. Way too long in Candidasa for us - not enough to occupy us.

lovely efficient and accommodating staff. Location by the lotus lake meant we were able to interact with locals observing traditional ceremonies at the shrines around the lake and down on the little beach nearby.

Unfortunately, because not direct sea front, did not get any breeze, so was quite warm at times. Not enough shade around the pool for us, although we notice some Europeans staying there were quite happy to baste in the sun - so it’s probably a personal preference.
