good hotel. Amazing amazing amazing staff :)

the staff here are unbelievable. I think i would rate them as being one of the best serving staff i have had the pleasure of dealing with, unrivalled even to a 5 star hotel. so courteous, polite, responsive, and accommodating. THE best of the best. keep up the good work :)

the rooms could really do a regular weekly maintenance check up. had quiet a lot of issues which were promptly fixed, but really should have been there in the first place had there been a regular maintenance plan in the hotel in the first place.

When I checked in on 21st Jan 2023 I was informed that the credit card was just to reserve the booking and I can pay cash. I paid cash. I was also charged on my credit card. When I checked in on 28th Jan 2023 I complained on this anomaly and the manager informed me that the credit card payment will be reversed. So I don't know if the Hertigate is taking me for a ride. I have attached the registration and invoice in "room photos' for my stay on 21st Jan 2023. Can booking.com sort out this anomaly with heritage hotel and refund my money.

The food was great!

For me personally this was a nightmare Hotel. I am not sure why it has 4 stars. It fells more like a one star hotel. The room was small and was not renovated since year.

Terrible experience and we didn't deserve it.

Just that the property has a parking facility. Rest everything was absolutely a bad experience.

Staff behaviour, very poor facilities and services, no sense of hospitality I must say. AC didn't work, WiFi didn't work, there was no towels in the room but no response for 4 hours from any staff. I called 7 times but they kept teaching me the rules and policies of the hotel or saying that we'll do something. They managed a glitch in the check-in formalities, and asked me to come to the reception immediately after I had reached the room and wanted to freshen up. Similarly, We were running late for check out and I requested to hurry up for room checking, however, I was made to wait and again taught about the hotel policies. At the time of check out, the senior manager came to the front desk gentlemen and loudly asked, whether the complimentary items are checked in the room and if they are there?, before my exit is sanctioned. Ofcourse if they have a facility like this, they should check, but making the guest feel this way is a great insulting memory. Very very embarrassing to hear this poor street vendor attitude. These events are quite shocking for a City like Mumbai. Property is nice but recruitment is gaining a bad fame.

the credit card was for security only.

all staff helpful

the staff cleared the credit card without our authority as we wanted to pay cash. we paid cash. hotel promised the transaction will be reversed and won't be charged on our card. the hotel promised to follow it up and advice us accordingly.
