Very nice stay

The staff are very polite and helpfull. They did everything for us! We were really taken good care of.

An old-fashioned high class feel, with well appointed compact rooms.

The breakfast was large, with Indian and Western choices, and available till 11am. Complimentary hot drinks or lime juice was available in the afternoon. Our room was small (two single beds on either wall with a walkway between, and bathroom at the end), but well appointed and laid out, and clean, so we still found it comfortable. The staff was extraordinarily obliging, so the place had an old-fashioned, high-class feeling despite the compact rooms and very reasonable price. And it was well located location in central Mumbai.

Good Value for Price

The room was good value for the price. The breakfast room is cute and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable. The standard room is very small. If you need room for luggage, get a deluxe room.

It's not too far from the Gate of India, but now that Carnac Bridge is closed, D'Mello road is so busy it's hard to get to and from the hotel by taxi at certain times of day. The standard size room is very small.

A little Gem

Great location . Staff were very friendly and helpful . Manager provided me a map of Mumbai and took time to show me where to go. Plus arranged taxi for me back to airport on my departure day.

Maybe the entrance to the hotel wasn't that inviting but once you get inside to hotel it's a really nice well run place

Superb

Good, egg-based breakfast, lovely architecture and great restaurants and even a bar just the stairs down on the right. Fantastic manager at the reception who organized us a spare room for our bedridden son without charging anything for a late check-out.

Convenant Location. Good stay for the money.

Firstly, don’t let the outside put you off! The hotel is on the 1st floor of a residential building and looks rough from the outside, it once in the reception area is clean and modern looking. Although the room was a little small, there was enough room for everything in the twin room. I did have a concern there was a window into the corridor and the curtain was thin, but the lights were always out in the corridor come night time so that was ok (I need it dark to sleep) The best bit was the bed, as it was really comfortable. all the staff we met were very friendly and approachable. The location is great and not too far from CSMT station.

The shower was very hit and miss, some mornings it worked, although not very powerful (low pressure) and was warm to hot. The last morning the shower was freezing and not much more than a trickle, but it was 04:00 as we where heading back to the airport so too early to ask about it. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Staff in all departments is just perfect-from reception to housekeeping and kitchen-friendly, welcoming, helpful, personal approach, smiley. They are creating this great place and atmosphere ! Good breakfast. Location, close to train station or walkable to main attractions if you love to explore places wandering around. Would definitely return.

No windows to get fresh air, there are only ones facing corridor. Very strong light in the corridor during night times so I think there should be extra blinds in the windows. Smoking in the lobby, even during breakfast time. It can get loud if people gather in the main lobby, specially early morning or late evening.

The staff were really helpful The room was clean Good value for money Location was close enough to the main things we wanted to see Close to the train station and airport Beds were comfortable Shower was powerful with hot water Fan and aircon in the room Breakfast included

Some rooms are in the entrance corridor where the entrance and reception desk are. Not everyone is quiet coming in or going out, if you're a light sleeper it might be worth requesting a room in a different area so that you aren't disturbed

Don’t be put off by the ground floor entrance. This is a little gem

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Good basic breakfast. Easy access to CST

Best hotel but a rude Manager

Mr Khushal Singh,Manager is vry cooperative,polite,helpful.Mohan,Rahim are the best workers.

Second receptionist Mr Hemant is vry rude,non cooperative these days.Hotel ratings might be fallen due to his behaviour.All other employees and staff is also fed up by his nature Management should look in to and shld keep him away from interfaring other colieges decision.

Lovely service, great value to money

Sensational service. Very helpful manager Knushal Singh. He offered his help many times, including finding a taxi to the airport at the lowest price. Very good breakfasts included in the price (toast, omelettes, coffee). Very close to the CSMT train station. Great value for money.

A hotel so close to all important places like CST, Gateway of India was very convenient.

Based on the size of the overall property, the size of rooms are good and well planned. Cleanliness is very good.

great for female solo travelers

it was a last minute reservation while arriving at India and having no place to stay and they literally saved me the night I arrived ,allowed me to stay for free so I could have a couple of hours of sleep before my check in . the receptionist were the most helpful people ever. You might look and think that’s a humble hotel but the people who work there make you feel like home ,specially as a female solo traveller

I would say the inconstant hot water , the breakfast is always omelette with coffee or tea but let’s be honest a daily omelette is better than just having toast and butter like in other hotels .
