The highlight of our Qld trip (aside from the whales)

We loved our stay at Alexandria Apartments ... from the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Sophie to get into the garage area, and her advice on local highlights and other assistance during the stay was greatly appreciated. John was more than happy to help us carry all our luggage to our room (3 flights of stairs). The apartment was beautifully presented, very well appointed, and very clean. One highlight was the incredibly comfortable bed - I took a photo of the label to chase down an comparable model for our spare room (it's a commercial hotel product). We've slept on Tempur for over 16yrs, rarely have we travelled anywhere that comes remotely close to its comfort, however we were both surprised and delighted with the support and comfort of the bed which gave us very restful nights. The location was far enough away from the main area of Mooloolaba so it felt less hectic but it was just a 20min stroll to the great eating spots, and the popular foreshore walk was across the road. There seemed to be less late night traffic noise as well, which was good as we kept our windows open overnight to capture the refreshing breezes. The apartment and stay were fantastic but the managers Sophie and John deserve credit for making it so. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We would happily return to this property again!

We loved our stay here. The owners were absolutely lovely. They recommended places for coffee, breakfast and dinner in the area. We stayed on the top floor and they carried our bags to our room for us. The service was exceptional and we are so grateful that we stayed here! We will be back!

Great location opposite the beach and only a short drive to the shopping centre. Very large apartment with plenty of space for everyone. Lovely, friendly owners.

The apartment we had No 6 is very dated, with yellow bench tops, the bathroom is extremely dated with a step up shower that would not be suitable for elderly people or anyone with a disability, the owners who were really lovely did let us know when we spoke to them 2 days later that No 6 was to be renovated early February which didnt help us as I expected what I saw in the pictures when booking to be the apratment we had paid for? If at the time of booking the displayed apartment is not avaliable I feel they need to contact the person booking the apartment to explain that they would be given an older not so nice unit, if this had been the case and I had seen photos of unit 6 I would not have gone ahead with the booking, or at lease expected a discount. Some of the cutlery and the cooking equipment was put back in the cupboards dirty. There was very cheap soaps, shampoo and conditioners and the 4 freddo frogs on the bench when we arrived with a handwritten note was a little tacky.

Apartment was clean and comfy. Spacious Living area with large TV was great. Comfortable and clean beds with quality towels. Sophie from the management team was really helpful. Highly recommended. Will visit again for sure.

Except for the rainy weather, the stay was very good, would stay at this place again no doubt

Very unusual to see the property owner/carer to meet us at the garage, very welcoming couple, they even asked for the wife and kids names, wrote them down and made sure they call each one with their name, helped in carrying our luggage to the apartment, great people.

We all enjoyed our stay location was excellent regardless of weather.

Location was great with good views of the beach and close to restaurants and shops. On site property managers were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to provide information on local dining.

Only trivial things - no salt and pepper. Insufficient toilet paper provided (six people) however this could have been obtained from reception.
