Having to leave 😞

The quiet! And not many children due to it being a little more secluded without any kids club or anything. The restaurant had a great selection and all food was delicious. The staff both at Texans in the restaurant were outstanding! They were very attentive, friendly and just lovely to deal with. The maître de Albert was so nice, and professional, he even helped me with my rental car when he saw I was trying to sort an issue with it. All in all a great experience at this resort. 👍😎🌴
Nothing

Absolutely nothing!
Horrible, disgusting, vile place with staff who bully and try to scam money!
The behaviour of this place makes me sick!
Everything! This place is utterly vile!
Staff are bullies who try and extort money from you.
Nothing is clean, it is in a terrible location.
Utter rip off, waste of money, vile behaviour.
I felt physically unsafe being here due to the staff (particularly two of the women on reception).
Avoid this place at all costs!!

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing every single day. Relaxing was easy at multiple spots around the resort and swimming and snorkelling were lots of fun to do every day.

Schade.

Eggs Benne was really good
Staff, Cleaning, inability to get Tissues & milk the second day. The current in the Lagoon. No info in room re tours etc. tv didn’t work properly. Couch was broken. 1 x lounger on balcony for a room for two people. The prices of very average food was outrageous. Not what you’d expect from an expensive resort. It really wasn’t value for money.

Great location and only 5 mins from Lalomanu Beach. Very nice breakfast.

The location was stunning, offering a refreshing contrast to the bustling town. The air was much cleaner, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility.
I didn't really like how separated the guests are. Since the resort is so remote, it would be great to have activities that bring everyone together. This way, guests from different backgrounds can appreciate the culture more deeply, rather than just enjoying the location.

Excellent property. This is 5* in every respect (except no 2nd restaurant). Amazingly helpful staff - nothing too much trouble. THE best place to stay in Samoa.
The menu could be more varied - but this is a minor criticism and management are aware of this aspect.

Aga Reef was absolutely beautiful and we were very lucky with our stay. If you are deciding on somewhere to stay in Samoa stop looking and make it here!
The lagoon area is like watching an aquarium and talking to Rick, one of the managers, his passion for the reef is clear. We were lucky enough to see Dolphins passing by from the island, and turtles coming into the lagoon. The best snorkelling we did in Samoa was on the resort's reef!
The pool area is absolutely stunning, the restaurant serves delicious food and the staff were without exception all fantastically kind and helpful.
The resort is in a perfect position to enjoy Lalomanu beach and To Sua Ocean trench which are two of the highlights for any trip to Samoa.
We had our return flights cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Rick and Nyra could not have been more helpful and went well above and beyond in assisting us rearranging our travel plans. We chose to extend our stay at Aga Reef and are very glad we did so.
Thank you Aga Reef for an unforgettable stay!

We absolutely loved everything but most of all we loved the wonderful staff - Taulima, Lucky, Napa, and the female masseuse really made our stay extra special. This is the most amazing place my partner and I have ever stayed. The location, the luxurious island villa (make sure you pay the extra for one) the varieties of fish and animals in the reef we could watch from our balcony, the food, pools, outdoor shower, sunsets, massage, everything. We couldn’t fault anything, we splashed out for my birthday and it was worth it 100%!!!
We only wish the staff were paid more - like anywhere in Samoa of course, but we would have expected slightly more for the price tag. We asked politely what the wage was like, and they wouldn’t give an exact Tala per hour, but we were shocked when we heard what it was in between. TV in the island villas weren’t working but this was due to a cyclone the week before.
