Lovely and spacious apartment in the city center of Reykjavik!

The location is in the city center of Reykjavik which is really good! We can easily walk to all traveler spots, supermarket, souvenir shop and good restaurants. The apartment is really nice and clean. We are group of family (6 people) and there are 2 bedrooms, 1 sofa bed and 1 bathroom which is suitable for us. The apartment is spacious with all facilities needed for travelers. The kitchen and dining room are big and convenient. We really enjoy our stay. The host is supportive and responsive. They also allow us to use washing machines downstairs for free. There is really good bakery next door (BRAUD). Checking in and out process is easy.

As it is in the city center, there may be some noisy sound but it is acceptable for us.

Great location.

The guy was very reachable and helpful. We arrived a bit early than expected and he coordinated with the staff to get the room cleaned and available to us as soon as they can. Also, great location. Pretty much everything that Reykjavik has to offer is within walking distance.

Little noisy at late night as we were so close to the downtown. But, hey that was expected as the flipside is the great location.

Great place to stay in the heart of Reykjavik city centre. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It is located on paid parking zone, but there were plenty of space to park your car, even in the high tourist season. A little tip for parking - park in zone P3 it is on 70-100m from the apartment, it is a way cheaper than P1. In the apartment there is everything you need for you stay. Even in the city centre it was quiet and you can rest after long day of exploring and hiking in Icelandic nature.

We wanted a one night stay close to downtown. This was definitely the right spot for that.

It was a good place, I don' think the photos matched the room very well. We were on the ground floor but I think they primarily used photos from the upper apartments. The location is REALLY good though.

A comfortable and convenient place to stay while in the city!

The location was great! Very close to the church, shopping, and restaurants. Very responsive and accommodating to requests and questions.

Perfect Place

The kitchen was well equipped, smart TV usable and we even could use the washer and dryer free of extra charge in the separate laundry room, where we could also leave our bags if need be. Location right in the centre was also great. Perfect.

Wonderful stay in a comfortable and well-appointed apartment in a very convenient location!

We had an amazing stay at Mengi Apartments. Gardar, the owner, was so helpful and communicative--a really nice person! The space was comfortable and centrally located, within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Reykjavik. And it didn't hurt that the best bakery (try the cinnamon rolls!) is right next-door! It was also very helpful to have a kitchen at our disposal. We couldn't have been happier that we chose this property.

Perfect location central to a lot of great restaurants, shops, and attractions like the Sun Voyager and Hallgrimskirkja. Great space, I only wish we were staying a few more days.

Best location in Reykjavík

Mengi Apartments couldn't be better located in Reykjavík, right next to Brauð & Co so you can pop over for a cinnamon roll! It is also just a couple blocks from the Rainbow street. There was plenty of street parking. Mengi Apartments are in the P1 zone, the priciest zone (pay through the Parka app), but it wasn't bad for our overnight stay. We were able to pull into the alleyway to load and unload. The furnishings were lovely, and the bed was comfy. There were many radiators so you could adjust the heat to your liking, and the blackout curtains worked well enough. There is street noise but it wasn't bad. The kitchen was well appointed with coffee maker and coffee capsules! Would definitely stay there again.

Brilliant Reykjavík stay

The apartment is warm and spacious for 2 people. It is modern, clean and really well equipped. It is in a great location where you are able to walk to all the main sights. It is close to shops for food etc.The host is great, very responsive and was really helpful when our transport was delayed due to bad weather.

Maybe some instructions for the TV - we didn't know how to work the AppleTV! But this did not spoil our stay.

Very centrally located, beautiful and clean apartment Good value for money for Reykjavik, a great option if you need to stay there The host was very kind and let us keep the luggage in a storage room until the time of our flight in the evening

All is great! Just beware that there is no elevator and the room might be at the second floor
