Great stay

Location was close to everything, immediately felt cozy and at home. Pillows and beds were soft. Owner responded quickly and let us check in a little early.

A little noisy with busy road and people upstairs. But not bad late at night once the bars close. Very tiny bathroom but nice hot shower!

Ein renoviertes kleines altes Haus mit Atmospäre mitten im Zentrum, sehr schön

Das kleine alte Häuschen liegt mitten im Zentrum und ist sehr schön hergerichtet und eingerichtet worden. Die Betten sind gut, das Wohnzimmer gemütlich. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns seh wohlgefühlt.

Eigentlich nichts, liegt im Zentrum, daher nicht top leise.

Central Reykjavik apartment

We had two stays at the Old Charm Reykjavik - our first night and last two in Iceland. The location was excellent, very close to everything. The bedrooms are huge. Good heating, although adjusting it was a bit difficult.

The living area is very small for a large group (we were a group of five, and the apartment sleeps 7). And the lighting was really dim! We found it challenging to just have one bathroom to share (especially as the toilet was in the same room as the shower!). We also found the door lock very difficult. The owner sent someone to help us get in, which we appreciated, but I've never had such a tough door lock! Lastly, the welcoming email could have mentioned if our apartment was upstairs or down - we had no idea on check in!

Spacious and located in the middle of everything!

Location, location, location! Old Charm Apartments was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do, see, eat in Reykjavik. We were in the three bedroom (53) for four nights and it was plenty of room for the 5 of us. Each bedroom was spacious and well equipped for us, and the kitchen table was a fun hangout spot. Convenient parking as well! Don't miss the Indian restaurant across the street. Best food we had!

The bedrooms for the unit we were in are along a busy street, so expect noise at night.

Lovely apartment

Location in center of Reykjavik, near all notable places. Clean and cozy rooms, yard with parking lot for a car. Nice kitchen with everything you need to cook something. Easy self check in and check out procedure. Great communication. Lovely place.

Only one bathroom, that can be an issue for six people staying. If you sleep with opened window noise from street can be disturbing.

The hosts were super responsive and helpful and they had luggage storage when we had to check out before it was time to go to the airport.

It's an old house so you could hear everything. The upstairs neighbors were noisy but even when they tried to be quiet, you could hear every foot step.

Really good location, good communication from the owner about checking in, incredibly comfortable and cosy. In a quiet part of town that is conveniently located to the main areas. Bus stops for transfers and lots of restaurants nearby.

Fabulous stay in a fantastic city made better by such a lovely apartment.

Perfect, authentic, centrally placed apartment very aptly named the Old Charm Apartments, we just loved it and the set-up of what I guess is a slightly older building really added to the charm. The location and comfort were great, I'd probably describe the inside as cosy and warm, with great facilities and the kitchen set up with a nice coffee machine etc all exactly what we needed. We could not have asked for better as far as location went, very central, once we'd parked up on arrival we just walked everywhere. Parking was available easily and the host was really helpful and communicated very clearly and quickly with me when I asked questions. I can't fault this place and I would definitely recommend it to friends, whenever I get back to Reykjavik city I'll try to book here.

we enjoyed this property and would return if the opportunity came

loved the setup and the location. the amenities offered in the kitchen were helpful. the beds were comfortable. felt safe

this is no reflection on our feelings of the property itself but on the second night of our stay, there were new tenants in the apartment above us who were exceptionally loud and inconsiderate at 1AM. they were running across the floor, talking and laughing very loudly. at one point, an item fell off the table due to the amount of shaking from the running across the room. this lasted until 3am.

This was a great place to stay to explore Reykjavik. Everything is within easy walking distance, including supermarkets, bars and restaurants . The apartments are well set up and comfortable. We would stay again.

Super traditional Icelandic townhouse. Warm comfortable spacious and homely. Great hospitality and attention from owners who are available by phone or nearby for any questions

All great really apart from fairly small kitchen and I didn't check whether there was a laundry as we were only there one night
