Roomy, clean and comfortable rooms. Good location near Tulum. Great cenote and beach, in a quiet area.
Buildings are old and have seen better times. Limited facilities on site. Swimming pool is old.

Location was perfect. Right on the beach with a beach club a short walk from the rooms. A short drive through the jungle to reach the hotel. Very secluded and private yet 5 mins from town. Quiet and peaceful. The beach club did not have a lot of visitors. Small cenote on the grounds as well. Restaurant in the beach club but with so much in town to try we never ate there. Rooms are very large.
The rooms aren't perfect. Seems as if remodeling was started but not completed or done poorly. Bathroom looked freshly painted but the ceiling paint was peeling. Also missing some tiles in the bathroom window but the grout looked new and clean. For the location and price we didn't mind and would stay again.
Pool was a little dirty and the outside bathroom/shower area was not kept clean. Honestly think very few staff and just no one to maintain this area.

The location is amazing, right in front of the sea. The Cenote is mind blowing. My 5 year old loved it. Very old style hotel. Really liked it. Rooms are huge. The bathroom was huge too.
Some enforcement on the no sunscreen allowed when entering the Cenote would be good to have. The pool needs some maintenance. More water for drinking would be nice instead of 2 small bottles for the 1st night.

The location is nice because you can enjoy the seaview but everything else was horrible!
The facilities are at really poor condition, it might have been modern or welcoming couple of years ago but now everything is shaggy. The pool was dirty. The cenote wasn’t suitable for swimming even though it was promised in the information. Beach was extremely dirty, just full of rubish. No wifi. We didn’t have electricity for 2-3 hours in the evening, nobody informed us in advance, apoligized to us or even offered any information about that. We went to the reception but nobody was there. It’s impossible to get help or any info. Restaurant or snack bar doesn’t work. They do not care about customers at all.

Few minutes from downtown, but required a U-turn. Spacious room with couch, extra bed, sink and refrigerator. Had a shared patio with lawn chairs facing the beach
I fixed the shower head since it was clogged up. Toilet seat was also broken/loosened. Outlet in the restroom didn't work. It was also not Taxi friendly at night

the view from the patio was amazing; the beach facility was very nice
the hotel food was fairly priced, but below average. We got a room without air conditioning and that was a mistake, even in December. Somehow, there were no racks to hang towels or bathing suits.

Great sea view from the rooms, beautiful green resort.
Service could be better, access to rooms was through an unpaved road.

Property looked beautiful however after we booked and paid online, we arrived at our hotel and we were told that this property no longer works with Booking.com. We were told we had to request a refund thru Booking.com and they had no vacancies. We called Booking.com and they told us we had to request a refund thru the property. We have not received a refund to date.

The quite and not a big hotel
Needed later food availability and a microwave in rooms
5.0
The location and that was far away from the city
The smell, beds where hard, the building was almost falling apart.

- We loooved the view (we were just in front of the sea)
- Many animals were around us (iguans, birds)
- a big nice swimming pool in the hotel
- another little pool just for our room
- the bed was confortable
- we saw beautiful fishes at the beach club
- their cocktails
- they have a little cenote 😍
- The room was not very clean (the cafe machine was not cleaned for example)

It's a wonderful secluded place to stay. we loved the beach and the private cenote. Great place to get away from the busyness of downtown.
Mattress was very firm and uncomfortable. There was also no paved path from the main entrance to the rooms, so you had to carry your suitcase through the sand.
8.0
The fact that we got to see sea turtles laying their eggs on tje beach at night.
The price is all together a little to high for what you get.

This is a secluded hotel but it's also a public beach which means the small beach area and cenote are packed with people. There is a pool just for guests but it's old and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. No way I would swim in that. The guest rooms are separated from the public beach but the guest beach is full of seaweed. I know it's seaweed season so that doesn't bother me. What bothered me was that the seaweed brings up lots of trash which no one had bothered to pick up. The economy rooms are big with a nice sea view, but they aren't air conditioned. We knew that and the sea breeze makes it pretty cool. However, the rooms aren't well sealed. I noticed little cocoon-like things on the walls but then I noticed the same cocoon-like things on the clothes I had laid out on the bed and realized it was droppings of some kind. The sheets and bed covers weren't very clean, with other evidence of bugs and human hairs. That did it for us. We checked out before spending the night. When we went to the main office at 8 PM, the place was dead. The reception isn't even open past 5. Not a big deal if you speak Spanish, but considering we don't and didn't have a car, it left us feeling pretty stranded. I didn't notice any other cars or people staying there and they were doing renovation on a lot of the buildings. We were so secluded it just felt creepy.
This could be an awesome hotel with a little renovation and upkeep. Considering we had stayed at nicer hotels in Mexico for cheaper than this hotel, I thought it was over-priced.
We booked two nights and ended up checking out early on the first day. We asked for a refund for our second night, which I doubt we'll ever see.

The beach club is great, lovely view, good service, beautiful private cenote on the grounds.
Had to drive to get to the nearest restaurant. The room was quite basic, shower was cold. We had a beach view but it wasn’t a great strip of beach and there was lots of seaweed washing up at the time we went. The beach club was a short walk away though and that part of the beach was nicer.

beautiful and simple…I loved waking up with the sounds of waves…and beautiful sunrises…everything was great🥰

Nice beachfront location away from crowds and resorts. About 15 minute drive from Tulum.
Kitchenette is only a sink and a mini refrigerator. No Microwave as seen in some pictures. No food available after 4:45. Food is about $12 for most items.

There was no breakfast offered even though it was listed. We didn’t have electricity for a about 12 hours, the restaurant on site was expensive and closed at 4 so we had to taxi to town for dinner daily, no microwave so we couldn’t bring food back to eat either. Older lady smoking cigarettes at the front desk at check in
Beach was full of seaweed

the property was located in a great natural area with the cenote, beach and Caleta.
the building itself had issues, it was so windy outside and the windows kept making a blowing sound all night. The staff was not friendly nor helpful. I had written about my plan included taking my grandmother and the receptionist even put on a smirk when he told me I was assigned the last building in the property. Very disappointing.

The property was clean and simple. we enjoyed the cenote and the swimming area. parking next door and good wifi.
everything was great.

Staff is super helpful and kind, helped us sort out a taxi and allowed us to store luggage at front desk. The location is also perfect, there are places to swim in the ocean, pool, and cenote. Definitely don't expect a 5 star resort and if you visit the hotel zone you will notice a obvious difference in quality. But if you are on a budget and want to see a cenote and stay on the beach this is the place.

Amazing location. After traveling in Mexico for a month, I'm convinced that Celeta Tankah was my absolutely favorite hotel. It offers endless wildlife, beautiful cenote, ocean lagune where you can ride an underground river stream. Not too many people on a property, excellent service. They heard all of my requests, decorated the room with baloons and a bottle of wine.
8.0
Loved the cenote and fresh water flowing into the sea where we could swim. Food was good although during an overnight stay it was inconvenient having no restaurant available for dinner. Hammocks, pool, service, beach, ambiance, music, all wonderful.
Buildings in need of repair. Apparently this property suffered storm damage. Very very littered shoreline along the fronts of the accommodations. Need to spruce up, tidy up, manicure outdoor spaces a bit around the lots and pool. We forgive this since it was apparent they were addressing what they could.

I appreciate that the staff full filled my request and surprised me for my birthday. We loved the location, and overall beach club/complex. I liked how private and isolated the area is, it wasn’t crowded. The food from the beach club was pretty good.
We were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, the bed sheets didn’t smell clean, the bathroom, the sink and overall the room wasn’t clean, it looked like it was just barely dusted from the surface to make it look tidy but overall it was dirty. There wasn’t a fan or AC In the main area of the room, and it was hot. I don’t see how people can withstand the heat in the summer without having an AC unit on both areas.
In my opinion, the kitchen and bar closing so early in the day is a bit of a downside

the Location, away from Tourists and an old Original resort, that is forgotten in time but still filled the w/Natural Beauty and Peacfulness
Loved the Property! Next time Rent a Car/Scooter since a Taxi into town is expensive & varies on the driver.

Spacious rooms, private beach, seaview. Maybe the only place in tulum on budget. Very kind staff
The outside area of the apartments definitely needs attention. The rooms need some love too, decorations, there is no furniture for the huge balcony
7.0
An incredible, isolated place where the waves and the wind are the only sounds you hear all day and night. Clean air, barely anybody around, just pelicans and other birds. If you are looking for a serene sanctuary, this is the place for you.
The beach club is open to general public and gets very busy. We ended up not going to the beach at all. The selection of food at the restaurant is limited and the food is quite pricey for its quality. Some oddities like no cups or glasses in the room or an ill fitted toilet seat.
