location
No air conditioning , so we relied on opened windows for having comfortable temperature, and every night there was so much external noise that it was extremely difficult to get asleep. The local host was so demanding that we could not enjoy the facility with freedom due to fear of damaging something. Also she was hostile to us, just because we arrived 20 minutes later than we had agreed. We explained her that we didn’t control the bus that brought us to the city, but she was mad that she lost 20 minutes waiting for us. She never gave us a welcome word.

We loved the location.
We were a party of 3. We ran out of hot water and it took 3 phone calls and multiple texts to even get then to look at it. They blamed it
on the city construction. The apartment had 3 bathrooms and when we checked in the staff told us that we shouldn't use the third bath so she wouldn't have to clean it once we checked out. So sad as we loved the apartment.

Wery good location on the beach and few min to the old city centre. Clean and cosy apartment.
Small beds and not comfortable and apartment don’t have extra sleeping sheets and blankets and blankets is for two people, it’s not separeted. Heating was suficial. Host was not kindly and she didn’t speak english. Her english was on google translate.

The apartment was comfortable, clean, modern with lovely rooms and the bathroom had great showers.
The entrance hallway & stairs were full of building materials & building site works. We were not informed of any building works prior to our arrival. The lady who met us with the key was not very friendly and had no English at all. There was no kettle or toaster and the grill smoked when we tried to use it. The major big shock though was that there were no windows in the apartment. Small vents at roof level were the only way of getting fresh air into the apartment. No natural light was a huge disappointment.

The person was friendly and welcoming
I had a major problem communicating with her as we spoke English and she only spoke Spanish (to which we are alerted in advance and no complaint).
Nobody on the property review mentioned that the apartment does not have direct light although if you pay attention to the pictures the small windows letting little light in the apartment are visible, but the view of Concha beach included in the property pictures is significantly misleading and I would suggest the owner is explicit about this or removes the beach pictures from the website.

My opinion of the apartment is similar to many of the others here. It's only a block to the La Concha beach. Three restrooms, each with a shower which makes showering after returning from the beach fast for families.
The owner was pretty responsive to emails. I got a response within minutes. Although, the iron was missing from the unit when I arrived. There was an ironing board. I mentioned it to the owner, but an iron never materialized.
Overall, the proximity to the beach, affordable price, included parking and modern furnishings left me satisfied with my stay. For the money and location, I really can't complain too much about its shortcomings.
As others have mentioned, the noise from the street in the master bedroom could make it difficult for light sleepers even with the small upper windows closed. Speaking of which, the lack of full windows means very little natural light. Be prepared for that. Others have posted photos, so you can see what I mean. The smaller second bedroom on the opposite end of the unit is much quieter but has no windows.
There is no air conditioning, but during some days the temperature rose above 30 degrees Celcius and the apartment was still surprisingly comfortable. The owner supplies a few portable oscillating fans for the bedrooms. Outside of installing air conditioning, the owner could buy one or two portable air conditioners for the unit and that could make most happy on the hotter days. Also, there is no washing machine. Keep that in mind if you’re planning a longer stay.
My biggest complaint was the bed in the master bedroom. The mattress was terrible and torture on my back during the stay. Moreover, it was only full size (140cm). It was a thin spring mattress that had seen its better days. Some of the springs seemed worn and provided a sleep surface that was far from uniform. There should have been a queen size (160cm) in the master bedroom for two adult sleepers. The lack of comfort and space for two to turn around easily made sleeping difficult.

It was very noisy on the first, it sounded like there were men carrying out work in a nearby apartment. We were woken very early by it, and had to get out if the apartment to escape it! The only downside to our stay
