The hotel is very modern and artistic. Love the lobby, it’s very spacious and welcoming. There’s many good Korean restaurants around and it’s pretty near to Seoul station. We took a bus to Seoul station to catch KTX train. With luggage, we prefer bus ride to the Metro. And, the concierge is really nice. They help us keep our luggage overnight while we go Busan and return to stay 2 more night. I’ll say that it’s location is really good, just 2 bus stop ride to the busy Myeongdong street & the traffic is never overwhelming during our stay. There’s always seats on the bus. CU convenience store is just round the corner. The staff made great recommendations for food.
No slipper in the toilet.

Near train station
Blanket not washed properly as I could still see stain on it. Should use curtain instead of shades to better block off sunlight.

Nice and quiet room (except for the night road work nearby, going on till the end of December 2023 that we can hear but it's not disturbing to sleep).
Beautiful rooftop with view on the N-Tower!
The room coffee has no taste.
Sometimes the cleaning of the room could have been better (wet towels forgotten...).
Remember to take toothpaste, toothbrush etc... only shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion were provided.
The bathtub was angled in a weird way and a large mirror was placed on the bathtub wall...

The lady at the reception helped us to find a new solution last minute after our booking was cancelled (from another platform).
The cleanliness could be improved (staines in the mattres by the window and weird staines like chocolate on the carpet).

Very good position, being in between the Chungmu-ro (the nearest) and the Eulji-ro3 Stations. This helped a lot with the transportation, to get easy access to the most central lines.
Room cleaning ist very fast getting there after leaving the room.
Some of the features of the room weren't perfect, like the painting and details looked a bit "stressed out". When moving the furniture you would find stuff belonging to all the room occupants before, so maybe the cleaning and maintenance could be better.

Contrary to what some said, I had a great stay with StayB hotel. Arrived late on the day of check-in (near mid-night), my family was warmly welcomed by the owner himself. A nice gentleman, he carried no weight and took extra effort to orientate us, and making sure that we have nicely settled down before he made his departure.
Despite being a 7 years old hotel, it is so well maintained. Our room was so clean and spacious. Felt so much like home. What's more impressive is that room cleaning service was done every day! Besides making our beds, bottled water and disposable slippers were regularly topped up.
What is also commendable is the owner himself, giving us good advices whenever he saw us, including where to go and where to eat. We felt so pampered for this trip! And yes, the location of this hotel so centralised that is right smacked between 2 Train lines, making our traveling very flexible.
This is the first and will definitely NOT be last time that I will stay with StayB hotel. Thank you for making our first family trip in Korea a great and unforgettable one! We will be back!
Honestly, nothing!

The receptionist or maybe the owner is super nice and helpful. Introduced us to 2 local restaurants around it and it was amazing! Super convenient location with less than 5 min walk you can reach 4 different subway lines and maybe another 5 min walk you will get another subway line.
Easy access to anything you want in this hotel including food and a convenience store.

The reception space was nice and the location was close to public transit.
The hotel was rated as a 4 star hotel, which it absolutely was not in any way. I’ve stayed in Holiday Inns that were nicer than this. Check in was pretty difficult, and the front desk wasn’t super helpful. We dropped our key (the plastic card) while in the elevator, which then dropped down the shaft. They made us pay $20+ for a replacement. There was also a fight outside overnight, and when we left in the morning there were two huge puddles of blood.

The room was clean and the location was good.
The cost at $345 per night was not value for money as the room was small and dated .

The hotel location was great: a 15 min walk to shopping area Myeongdong, a lot of restaurants in the area and nicely located between two metro stations with different metro lines, so it was easy to get everywhere. I also really enjoyed the beds. The Wifi was also very stable and quick. And the staff was kind and sent us a message when we left one of our passports in the safe, which we were very thankful for.
The room was smaller than I expected, there was no space for our suitcases and there were only a few clothing hangers, so we bought our own. You cannot (easily) improve room sizes, but I would advise to add more hangers. We booked a double room, but when we (two women) showed up, they wanted to give us a twin room instead. They asked 3 times to check we were sure we wanted a double bed. It's fine to ask, because I know many people accidentally book a different room than they wanted, but to ask 3 times did not feel pleasant. Lastly, the booking.com description of the hotel says there is a breakfast buffet, but there is not. We asked about it and they said it's been canceled since Covid, which makes sense, but one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the buffet.

Room was clean and comfortable, in a nice location
There was only 1 staff and he was quite scary and strict. It almost feels like you're a primary school student getting scolded by the principal. I arrived early and I just wanted to drop off my luggage first while I wait for the check in time, but I was nearly unable to do it because the hotel front door was locked (unlockable only if you have the access key) from around midnight until noon. I was stuck outside the hotel and unable to enter. There was no intercom or anything either. I was finally able to go in by sheer luck when an existing hotel guest happened to walk outside around that time and thereby opening the door. I understand if early check in is not allowed, but I think locking the door and locking people out is a little short-sighted.

it was acceptable.
