Eveything ! Was amazing value for money !

Very good location near lots of amenities.
Bathroom was decently clean.
The mattress in the living room was very dirty full of stains and very uncomfortable. The beds in the room weren't uncomfortable but we didn't want to know the state of the mattresses.
There was a very annoying noise in the hall that was very disturbing, even in our sleep.
In the kitchen the glasses were left dirty from another customers.
The place was ok but needed a bit of love and care.

The location
It was abit tatty would be a lot better if it had a revamp. Plus need blinds as other rooms can see straight into the room. Abit dusty and springy mattress.

My little sister stayed here and we stayed in the Double Top apartments by the same company. The room was so cozy and lovely. perfect for a place to stay after a nice meal in Liverpool.

The girl in the reception was not helpful, and with a rather rude attitude towards customers, we asked her to change our room. We were delighted to pay more but stayed in the main building as we arrived at the hotel at 9 pm. We spent enough time and money trying to find the hotel, and she refused, saying that she could not help us and started talking on the desk phone.
The bathroom is full of dust and mould, and the wall in the room is moulded too.

Room itself was fine (although much smaller than photographed)
The service we received from the staff.
Arrived at 2pm having (what we thought) booked early check in from 11am onwards. Was told this was only a request service for early check in, and they had no availability.
Asked if there was anywhere we could sit to do our make up as had a reservation for a meal at 3pm, and were offered the disabled toilet(?!) until we suggested a table at the closed bar by reception which they agreed to. Was told to come back to the desk at 3 to check in so pushed our meal back 15 mins.
Waited at the table for an hour while we got ready and went back to the desk at 3, standard check in time, to be told our room wasnât ready and could we wait another 30 minutes. I explained weâd already waited an hour and couldnât wait 30 mins as would miss our meal. I asked why it wasnât ready âit hasnât been cleanedâ, asked why not âit just hasnâtâ.
Had to dress in the disabled toilets for our meal, asked if there was anywhere we could use a plug for straighteners and was told no. They took our bags and stored them, and we returned after the meal (between other reservations) to check in.
Really poor service, and did very little/nothing to rectify their mistake. No reduction offered in the price of the room and a very robotic and empty apology given.

Comfy bed and newly refurbished rooms.
The apartment wasnât even in the location I had booked. I had booked a studio at 75 Duke Street, to turn up to check in to be told we would instead be staying at 151 Duke Street, Mrs Blodgetâs. This location was much further away from the event we were attending and I had booked the evening to stay for. It was also right next to some road works and building works, which is ok, but the propertyâs windows etc just seemed to let in every bit of noise going on outside!
The whole apartment was also quite dusty, and you could tell it hadnât had a deep clean for a while!
Im the morning, we were told check out wasnât until 11am. So at about 10.30, we were getting sorted to leave, both showering and dressing, when the cleaners entered the apartment!! No knock on the door, or shout to ask if anyone was still there, they just let themselves in! This just isnât acceptable and a reason enough alone I wouldnât go back to the same place again. I have stayed in different Epic apartments before and they have been fine.

Bed was comfortable, decent apartment.
ÂŁ250 deposit when the room only cost ÂŁ100 for 2 nights

Good location, very handy for the city centre.
Checking in is confusing - Google maps takes you to an empty unit, eventually I found it. The room was not very clean, and dĂŠcor is tired and could do with a refresh. There was no towels in my room on arrival, no towel holder in the bathroom, the bed was uncomfortable and no mattress protector fitted. The window frames are moldy. The Wi-Fi also does not work at the hotel - they referenced roadworks but seems a poor excuse. Overall, the room was a place to rest my head but I would not stay here again.

The location meant that most of Liverpool centre was walkable
The bed wasnât made when we arrived.
The toilet smelt and had a mark in it from the last person that used it.
The TV was hanging off the wall.
The air conditioning in the bedroom didnât work.
The key card holder fell off the wall.
The towel rail was hanging off the wall.
There was a brown stain on the carpet in the bedroom.
The sofa bed was falling apart.
Parts of the flat were really dirty.
The shower leaked.

The room was more than we expected. Really nice and clean.

The location is really good. We went to comic con at the exhibition center and this is only a 15 min walk. The staff was nice. And the price ok.
The area was a bit rough. I had my 13 year old daughter and this is very much a bar/ go out place with drunk people. But it was close to shops etc and so in the day it was a great location. There was no Wi-Fi that worked and there was nothing to watch on the tv. So if you need to be on the internet this is not great. It is 2023 - internet in a hotel should work. Especially since the reception on the phones was not great. The ventilator in the bathroom didn't work. The room was very dark - it would have been nicer with more light. This is a very basic place to stay. I think also it would be nice with more dishes. There is only two of everything which is strange as there is a dishwasher that basically could only be filled up 1/5. It would have been nice with more dishes. Finding the reception/location was tricky.

The staff were lovely
Hotel room was a state, then a leak happened, water was leaking through the ceiling onto the bed, almost hit a laptop, no wifi, for the money we paid it just awful, even if weâd paid half of what we did it still wouldnât have been acceptable. Tv was hanging off the wall, posters falling out of frames, stains all over walls. Just not good

Location clean quiet..
The fact that I was 20 minutes early to check in and they made me wait, saying room wasn't ready.. It seems the rule is 3 to check in so my advice if your on a early flight into Liverpool and want to rest and get a wash etc... book into somewhere else.. nothing worse than walking round the city all day waiting for your room...
