Well-located, affordable and lovely place to stay.

It was quirky (in a good way) but very nice, well air-conditioned and in a decent location, although does demand a few walks up stairs to get to the main town.

Unforgettable experience, fully recommended!

We have spent 10 days in this apartment and had a fantastic time. The place is excellently located, a 10 minute walk from the city centre. A big, lush garden, freshwater pool, and amazing view to the sea and hills around Taormina. The Orfeo apartment we stayed in was surprisingly cool (late June - early July), we had to turn on the AC only a handful of times and a cool breeze blew from the sea every evening. Also well separated from the other apartments, with its own small patio. At some point the place was fully booked, yet it was quiet and we barely ever bumped into anyone. This apartment does not have direct view to the sea from the window (if that's a must for you), instead overlooks the pool and Monte Ziretto, which I personally could look at all day. The host was very kind, speaks several languages and made sure we had everything we needed. Parking on site is an extra, but at a fair price, very convenient and you won't easily find a parking place in Taormina anyway. We recommend renting a car as it is easier to move around on the island. Just don't trust Google Maps when planning a route to the apartments - if you are coming directly from the autostrada on Viale S. Pancrazio, you can take a left U-turn at the Esso station, just 20 meters from the Apartments. On its own, Google Maps will take you on a completely unnecessary trip through the inner city. Again, unforgettable experience, fully recommended.

Absolutely recommendable

Very nice and friendly hostess, nice garden with swimmingpool and sunbeds. Good air-condisioning, nice kitchen and very good beds. Location very good close to main port to the city center and cable car. Easy access to the road system via Apple Maps. Do not use Google Maps!

A bit noicy when sitting on pourch, close to the traffic like rest of Italy, but silent inside with the doors closed.

good location in relation to proximity to town. Nice pool area and heated pool. staff friendly and helpful

No sea or garden view from our balcony. Instead a view of the road. the road was very noisy. so much so it made it unpleasant to sit outside . even inside you needed to close the shutters and the sound proof doors to escape it. our kettle didn’t work properly , which was reported but not changed. the freezer in the room was also very noisy. you could also hear the residents next door loud and clear - there was a locked adjoining door between the 2 rooms which contributed to that.

Very beautyfull complex on walking distance of center. Amazing view!

Very nice view, comfortabele room and kitchen, only de room was different then the one I choosed by the pictures on booking. Not too bad but because of my lenght I choosed beds without a foot board. This room had a bed with a foot board. Also not a bath in the bathroom, but surprisingly there was a giant bath tub on the roof terrace. On walking distantce of city centre. They styled the complex very arty, original and you can see the love they put in their work, chapeau! And thanks for the welcome bottle of cold wine, so nice to start your holiday with 👍

There was plenty of space on the inside of the complex, but they charge you €10 a night for parking a car. As this was not a cheap hotel, I don't like this.

Lovely place for our stay in Taormina, it had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday :)

Waking up every morning to the amazing seaside view, breakfast on the terrace, and a short walking distance to the old town. Ester and the staff were also super helpful with us planning our stay :)

position and facilities excellent. A quiet oasis close to busy Taormina. Lovely warm pool and secluded gardens. very relaxing. Very helpful and friendly staff. Especially Esther.

Fabulous!

Loved the Medea Residence. I was travelling with a friend and we thought the accommodation was fabulous. Great location - about a 6 minute walk into the centre of Taormina, so nice and quiet. The room was beautiful, with a balcony looking out over the mountains. The pool area is stunning with great views too and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to stay here, and we would return again.

Our only slight criticism would be that it would have been great to have the room cleaned and fresh towels. We stayed for 6 nights, so a quick clean interim clean would have been perfect.

Superb

Esther was a very sweet host, she pointed us out how to get from Catania airport to Taormina with the bus and which stop we had to get off. We were a bit late as our flight was delayed, but Esther waited for us to check-in. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and what beach to go to (and how to get there). The Airbnb wasn't very spacious, but more than enough for two people. We really enjoyed the pool and overall we had a very pleasant time in Taormina. Definitely recommend it!

very Nice staff, the green area and a beautiful bathroom. The room itself was spacious. Big parking area and close to Taormina city.

The view was not as great as pictured. There is a large bus parking lot in front on the hill in front of the hotel which blocks the view. The extra beds (sofa- and armchair bed) for the teens were not great.

Nice place to stay in a good location!

On arrival we were early so Esther allowed us to change and use the pool while the room was cleaned. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and bright and a one minute walk to the pool. The bathroom was something interesting, it has a very large walk in shower! Location was very good, 5 minute walk up some steps and you are in the centre-it is beautiful!!! Restaurants, cafés and bars for everyone! It was nice to sit and watch the world go by! I would highly recommend ‘Pasta Messina’ just on the roundabout- we had the best arancini of all the places we’ve visited so far in Sicily!! Met some lovely people during our visit! We used the cable car to go to the beach but the one directly in front of the cable car wasn’t that nice, the water wasn’t very clean so we opted for the apartment pool. We only stayed three night and it’s really not enough time to enjoy all of Taormina. Nice easy stay at the apartment!

Bathroom was a bit damp but ok. Odd font for a sink in the kitchen!

Absolutely fabulous , stunning views from our room which had a good size patio overlooking pool and garden and to the sea. We had a delux room which had a cooker, table and chairs, fridge and small freezer. Air con. Bathroom with stand alone bath with over head shower. Patio had seating , table, a spa seat, washing machine. I am a light sleeper and once the doors were closed and the shutters , I slept soundly. The bed was super comfy too. Just perfect ! A 10 min walk to shops , bars and cafes. Up steps and along road , keeps you fit and a good excuse when you want that gelato or granita.wish I could have stayed longer

Beautiful setting. Large room and balcony, room was quirky and fitted the whole setting. Amazing pool and views. Helpful staff. Peaceful atmosphere not too far from main town.

Uphill to main town on busy road with some parts no pavements, however not far and setting makes up for it. Would be good to have small mini bar as no shops very nearby.

the pool was nice and quiet and got a lot of sun.

there is no natural light in our apartment, the shower didn’t work, one day there was no hot water. the air conditioning didn’t work in the bedroom which we reported and no one came to fix it. we almost didn’t get our deposit back because they didn’t check when we were checking out, lucky we saw someone on the weekend.

Amazing little gem just outside the city with a great pool

Lovely bright room with balcony, it had everything you needed, fridge, freezer, cooker and all cooking utensils although we didn’t use them. Fantastic pool, not too cold but refreshing enough after a hot day! Esther the owner was lovely and welcoming and stayed later to meet us due to a delayed flight. Not too far to the city centre either but all uphill.

A wonderful stay

We loved everything about this property - easy parking, amazing staff Esther was wonderful, the pool is overlooking the sea and surrounded by beautiful trees and plants, it was quiet and always clean. No complaints at all!! Would definitely re-visit.
