Location for our needs.
Hard to access, had to phone to get in. Breakfast should be included for the price paid.

Spacious room and bathroom.
Very clean and with facilities to make drinks
Welcoming host
Woken during night by sound of an extractor fan . ? From outside or another room.
If we visited again, would make sure it was thurs- Sunday so that the restaurant and bar were open

Very clean and comfortable it was only a overnight stay so it served its purpose for us spacious car parking was a good bonus can’t stand tight spaces
Everything fine if i could be picky it was a bit too warm for my tastes but other people this may be a plus

Location very handy- 3 miles from Ripon and an easy drive to Harrogate. The room was perfectly clean and there was a generous supply of tea coffee etc. The host was friendly and made us feel welcome.
There was a bit of traffic noise as we were in the main road side if the building. The restaurant was not open but the bar was available on request. I would suggest a shelf in our ensuite to put toiletries on

A brilliant option if you want room only. The cost was very reasonable and Thursday to Sunday there is the carvery option for an evening meal. The room was large and spotlessly clean, the location very quiet particularly after the carvery closed. There was no breakfast option but we knew that in advance and we were quite happy to go into Ripon (5 minutes drive away) for breakfast. Staff were brilliant and check-in was very easy. Reading other reviews it looks as though you can request drinks from the bar even when the carvery is closed, which we didn't realise at the time.
Nothing - everything was fine.

Nice room very clean we stayed for one night on the way down to Norfolk. We were very impressed that the room we were in was as big for the amount that we paid obviously some upgrades had already been done- shower looked brand new! We ate in the carvery and can honestly say that it was one of the best we’ve been to! Staff incredibly friendly and we must give a big thank you to Dave ( one of the owners I think) who went out of his way to make sure everything was ok and looked after us and made sure we were happy! We would definitely stay again good place to stop if you’re visiting Ripon or Harrogate.

Room was really nice plenty of tea and coffee and Roku on tv
shame on location large lorries travelling past my room all night, not ideal for light sleepers

Dave the owner was very welcoming and made us feel at home and we had a laugh.
We didn't eat but the carvery looked and smelt delicious.
The weather was super humid (obviously out of the hotels control!) so could have done with a fan. Unfortunately there is a bit of traffic noise if the room at the front.

The room was clean, bed comfortable and the staff were welcoming and very helpful.
We liked the rural outlook from our room.
We found the road noise could be a little bothersome especially if we wanted the window open.
4.5
The friendliness of Dave, one of the owners when we arrived and throughout our stay was excellent
Possibly an earlier check in. But we were told at time of booking the times

This place was lovely. We went for two nights over Easter , short break to Ripon. It was approximately a 10 minute drive out of Ripon which suited us. It was nice and quiet. The room was very comfortable and spotless. Lovely bathroom and plenty tea and coffee facilities. The staff were lovely. The bar is shut when not serving food., but you can ring a number and someone will come and attend to you. Although we didn't use it. We just got a drink when food was served and took it to our room with two nice chairs to relax in. We also tried the carvery on Easter Sunday. It was delicious and well organised. Well presented unlike some chains who do a Carvery, where we have been put off carvery. But not this one. We thought a great place to stay.

fantastic welcoming hosts, huge comfy bed and plenty of Yorkshire tea! location was perhaps for exploring the local area and the room and bathroom were spotless!
We were on the road side, so had some car noise - but not enough to disturb our sleep
would recommend light sleepers asking for a room to the rear perhaps
4.5
Nice big comfortable room.
Difficult to find in the dark. No lights on property
4.5
Staff very friendly. Room very large and clean.
The room was very cold when we arrived. It was December and there was no heating on. The manager put the heating on for us but even with the radiator full on it never got up to a comfortable temperature. We went to the bar for a couple of drinks and it was cold there too.
