Perfect little gem above Rye

Full equiped little flat, everything was perfectly clean. We sayed only for one night but the surrounding with the pond and trees would easily let us stay longer.

Comfortable flat near Rye

The pond view flat is super cute, organised, comfortable and clean. It has been recently refurbished and there is everything you may need. It is 5 mins drive from Rye. We loved our stay. Thanks John for the treats.

Perfect spot to visit Rye and surroundings

A lovely little accommodation with, in my humble opinion, the most powerful shower I ever had :D There is a pond, you have your own terrace and a car park in front and nothing is too much for John. We’d love to stay here again next time!

Cute retreat for a relaxing break

We stayed in The Retreat and it was perfect for a short stay. They have used the space extremely well, everything you would need including a cooker, and a little courtyard to sit in. They had put a good information folder together too. I would recommend here.

location was great, ideal for a taxi to Chapel Down Vineyard. It was self catering but biscuits , milk , tea and coffee were provided.Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

beautiful place

very cosy and spotless clean place to stay in. modernly equipped and has got all the necessary bits and bobs. Owner is very friendly and helpful, so we felt very welcomed and well looked after. Area is very peaceful and has got a nice pond with fish. Definitely recommend it.

Loved the accommodation and ornamental pond. Spacious, comfortable. Everything we needed.

Spacious accommodation, spotlessly clean and attractive décor. Loved the patio doors onto a grass area by ornamental pond and the excellent shower. Host very welcoming. Set back from road. Nice Pub next door.

Road had no footpath and a little busy to walk along.

It had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. I give it 5*++ as a rating.

Cannot fault this place - Cannot wait to return!

This was our 2nd stay at Woodies. This time we stayed in the Pond View apartment which was absolutely wonderful. John and Jackie are such warm and lovely hosts and we will be returning again soon.
