Had an amazing short break at Barons Granary, Jo is a wonderful host.

Made to feel welcome from the start, the breakfast is to die for and sets you up for the day, it is a perfect location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of town/city life, an absolutely wonderful time had, Thank you Jo.

Superb

Breakfast was great. Location very good for day trips (canterbury and chilham - hasting and battle - Brighton and Alfriston - Birling gap). Also 5 mitutes from Rye. Jo was very helpful, very nice person, fullfilled every request we had emediately.

Perfection and Beyond!

From the moment that we arrived at Barons Granary, we just knew this was going to be an amazing stay! No sooner had we pulled up outside this lovely property, than Jo was there to greet us in person. Walking into the property the first thing that struck us both was how clean and fresh everywhere looked. The lounge is well laid out with a large flat screen television and very comfortable seating area. The small fridge is situated in a corner of the lounge which Jo keeps stocked with fresh milk and soft drinks. The well equipped bathroom is spotless with good quality towels and complimentary toiletries. Finally the bedroom has a King size bed which is very comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfasts though are just something else...one of Jo's breakfasts will set you up for the day! Breakfast is taken in the lounge at a table alongside a window. You are presented with a range of Cereals, Yoghurts, and Fruit Juices as Jo will take your order for tea or coffee and what Cooked Breakfast you would like. We both opted for Sausages, Bacon, Hash Brown, Tomato, Fried Egg and Mushrooms all locally sourced and cooked and presented perfectly. After all of this, Jo will bring in a selection of white and brown toast, jam and marmalade...and more tea and coffee if you want it! But it doesn't end there! Fresh fruit is always replenished in the lounge daily and to top everything off each day Jo leaves some little sweet treats in a bowl for her guests. Having stayed in Hotels, B&B's and Apartments across the UK and Europe, we can quite categorically say that Barons Granary is right up there with the very best of the best! As you will have gathered by now this B&B is amazing...we have already booked for next year!

Anyone who can find fault with Barons Granary will quite frankly NEVER be satisfied with anything!

Pretty damn perfect

Every aspect of our stay was first class. Wonderfully quiet - apart from fantastic bird chorus- in a lovely farmhouse hosted by a welcoming friendly couple Ed and Jo who couldn’t do enough for us! The breakfast was great and all the extra touches - chocolate, drinks, Maoms , etc - were much appreciated. Lovely family, lovely place, great experience!!

Exceptional, quiet and perfect getaway

Everything, Jo was an amazing host, Ed and the children were great too. Perfect place, my partner even had a birthday candle on his breakfast, Jo is so thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble. Added extra touches make the stay even more perfect, if you are thinking of booking, don’t hesitate reserve now you won’t be disappointed.

There is nothing to dislike at all.

Great place for a break in Rye

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh tomatoes and mushrooms with egg sausage and bacon . Fresh fruit juice cereal and toast and tea and coffee set us up for the day all served with Jo's friendly chat.

One of the best B and B’s I’ve stayed in!

The views and the surroundings were beautiful but the most amazing part of our stay was our host jo. As soon as you met her, you knew your stay would be great. More than happy to help with anything you need. Definitely going back for another relaxing stay.

Relaxing and comfortable stay in a perfect location near Rye.

We loved the rooms - especially their spaciousness and the quality of furnishings it was like having a whole flat minus a kitchen! Jo is an exceptional host very warm and welcoming. We liked having breakfast served in the lounge at a time to suit us. Bed was very comfortable.

Only things that could improve a stay would be a fridge at a higher level and outside private space to enjoy the weather and views.

Comfortable B & B in a quiet location ideal for exploring Rye and the surrounding area

A warm welcome. Comfortable bed and a good selection of drinks, fruit and biscuits. Generous well cooked breakfast served in your own living room. The B & B is well located for Rye and there are plenty of local eateries.

A fantastic stay with a wonderful host. A lovely property with so many high quality nice touches. Loads of space, warm, comfy, quiet and welcoming. Great breakfast. Very easy and quick drive to Rye.

The extra space, the separate lounge area was spacious with woodburner TV and comfy sofa. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order by our delightful host Jo. Plenty of parking (free). Well situated between Rye and Hastings.

Excellent Barons Granary

Jo and Ed are great hosts, the accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean with lots of little extras (tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit, toiletries etc) and the breakfast was delicious.

Perfect country getaway with luxury touches

Friendly and approachable hosts. The rooms were spacious with views across the farm. Roll top bath gorgeous and perfect for relaxing after a hard days walking. Comfortable, generous sofa and wood burning stove make for superb night in. Breakfast was well cooked and served by Joanna and Edward. Thoroughly recommend for a luxurious and relaxing stay.

Excellent stay

Exceptional stay in a lovely quiet rural location. Jo was an excellent host very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was divine every morning. Accommodation was comfortable immaculate in cleanliness and there were lovely touches such as the biscuit jar, fruit bowl and chocolates that were replenished daily. Lovely country stay at Baron's Granary

Lovely stay at Baron's Granary. It was easy to find and Jo (the host) was helpful providing us travel info on the day (re. petrol queues and traffic). The accommodation is far bigger than we excepted, which gave us loads of room to relax and feel comfortable for the 3 days we had booked. Breakfast was perfect with lots of choice, and Jo was always perfectly on time. There is a great shower with soft water. The granary is perfectly situated for a wedding at the Cherry Barn, or if you have other business in Peasmarsh. I'd happily stay here again if in the area.

Breakfast excellent, well presented. Host Jo very helpful & friendly. Beautifully appointed suite.

Only 1 minor issue. When bathroom taps run noise could be heard in all areas.

Our second visit to Baron's Granary, and was as good as last time!

The breakfast , exceeded our expectations - delicious, on time every morning, well worth the trip!

Nothing could have been better, we both loved everything. A wonderful break and we will come back again!
