New Caribe Point has a number of self-catering properties scattered around a beautiful garden with a small swimming pool. Anna, Patricia and Jorgé are super helpful and friendly (even giving us a bottle of champagne to enjoy when the weather was bad). There are washing facilities, an outdoor eating area and the properties are clean and spacious. Away from the main road, but only a short distance to town… ideal for a relaxing stay.
The beds are a little small for us long Europeans, but nothing to moan about.

Beautiful grounds, convenient location and short walk to beach/restaurants.
Sometimes the HDMI connection fails for the TV, and the lock for the entrance gate can be tricky to open.

Own condo with self-catering option. The pool was clean and the facilities were good.
The sofa in the front room but we didn’t need to use it.

Hosts were amazing! They would respond to questions promptly and were on arrival to explain the properties layout and structure. They also provided us a list of things to do nearby and food recommendations. The villa itself was very spacious and fit all 5 of us perfectly. It was great to feel like we were in a home away from home. The AC in the rooms worked extremely well, which was great with the humidity. The owners also called us out to see the sloths when they were around which was very nice.

The owners are very nice. There are two very sweet dogs and a sweet kitten, which make it feel more like home. The location is fantastic. The AC works inside the bedrooms wonderfully. The bathroom is clean.

The property is less than 2 minutes walk away from the best beach in Cahuita, the Black Beach. The property has a beautiful garden and even star fruit trees. Edward and Anna are so nice and sweet. They even offered free water/juice/beer for free. The property itself is like a small paradise, such a welcoming and relaxing place to be. and our special love goes to Pluto, the cute puppy.

The room was much bigger than we expected. It was a 2-bedroom bungalow (1 bedroom with queen bed and the other with queen and bunk beds) with a full kitchen (also more than we expected). Having the kitchen was wonderful because we just had gotten so tired of the unnecessarily oily restaurant food. It was mere steps from the black sand beach, allowing us to leave our valuables in the room and go frolic in the waves. Also just steps from restaurants and bars that had live music on the weekends. The grounds were immaculate and the pool was the perfect temperature. We really liked the toucan outdoor shower!
We thought that it would have been nice to have free ground coffee, but this was a minor thing. There is AC in each room

We loved everything about this place! This was our best stay during our 2 weeks in Costa Rica.
The hosts are lovely and very helpful! We loved the clean house with everything you need from couch, dining room, lovely outdoor patio, wifi and AC to a fully equipped kitchen (we had to buy our oil and salt to cook but that is minor), they even provide cute Pool towels. We loved the beautiful and manicured garden with lovely flowers. The pool was a delight at the end of the day. You can use the washing machine near the pool.
The property is quiet and a pure gem to relax (we can hear some music from the Reggae Bar down the street but never too late at night) ! The kids loved the hammock, the cat and the dog that we saw a couple times and the pool of course!
The beach (beautiful black sand) at the end of the road is lovely and only a couple of feet away. 5 minutes from the house on that same long stretch of beach their are a few wooden swings facing the beautiful blue ocean, this is a must if you have kids. We bought ice creams in the restaurant Atlantis lodge then just crossed the "road" and ate the ice creams while playing with the swings, the kids loved that (careful ice creams melt VERY quickly).
Cahuita downtown is about a 20-25 minutes walk from the house so you can go visit the beautiful National Park without your car (there is one entrance to the park downtown Cahuita). We were lucky and saw a lot of animals in the park. We walked barely 1 hour one way in the Park and sat on the beach and went swimming. The park entrance is literally downtown so when you are done and exit the park, their are a lot of restaurants and a few shops to buy souvenirs. The ice cream shop right before the parc entrance (with a big plastic ice cream sign) makes home made ice cream/sorbet, the flavors are to die for (mango, watermelon, pineapple, cookie, tropical, chocolate....).
Hum....nothing!

The personal touch of the owner! it was clean, well maintained, complete and comfortable.
A small disadvantage is the impossibility of paying by card. Come prepared.

The very best, caring hosts on the planet. A magical garden with it’s resident sloth, beach minutes away where many residents gather for the sunset/music/ dominoes and new friends that will be with us forever. A place to settle down and really absorb the vibes of ‘Pura Vida’.
Only wish we could have stayed longer than 5 days

Beautiful setting, great location and wonderful staff. You go through the gate and enter a little paradise. The gardens are stunning, with humming birds and butterflies. We saw a sloth, iguanas and a family of howler monkeys in the trees.
The beach is 2 minutes walk away and it is a lovely beach. Cahuita is a brilliant family place with lots of places to eat and drink. We walked with our two children every evening into town from Caribe and felt very safe. It's about a 20 minute walk, you can also walk some of the way along the beach.
Our Villa was so comfortable and spotless. Home from home. Also, it's fantastic to have a pool.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
We were very sad to leave.

so pretty and safe!! It was our first stop and it was so comfortable because they take security very seriously. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Most important, they were kind and considerate and just lovely people and the ambiance of the property is lush with greenery, wild flowers and sounds of nature. very close to many eateries and not far from town or the beach.
Not much but the pool hours could be a bit longer since it gets dark early and you can’t really stay on the beach passed 6/6:30. also the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great but I didn’t really focus on it too much and they were quick to respond and make the necessary adjustments so that’s a plus in my book.

The villas are lovely and well equipped. Nice pool and relaxation area. The location is perfect for Playa Negra, there is Chow's Place, the Reggae Bar or the Atlantida (v good) close by for food or drinks. 20 min walk to cahuita town.

The staff was really friendly, clean houses in a beautiful garden. Walking distance to the beach approximately 150m.
The owner pointed out a sloth chilling in the trees to us.
Not many restaurants around, Cahuita is like 20 min walking away

The gardens are lovely, complete with mother and baby sloths, small but fun pool and the beach is 2 minutes walk. Town a short bike ride away along the beachfront dirt road. Places to eat and drink very close by. I’m sorry, it had everything a relatively unfussy family would want. The warmth of Aurora’s welcome merits special congratulations! Cahuita is a great place to spend a few days…or longer.
Family of four with teenage boys stayed in the smallest cabin, next time I’d probably go for one of the larger rooms just to spread out a bit more.
