Las cabinas son muy bonitas. La cama cómoda y el sistema de ventilación práctico . Los baños geniales sobretodo la ducha, todo muy limpio. El entorno muy cuidado . Al lado de la entrada al parque y con sodas, restaurantes y supermercados cerca.
El parking es bastante pequeño. Nosotros tuvimos suerte pero caben unos 5-6 vehículos.

I sont understand the negative reviews on this place. It was really clean, excellent kitchen, staff were lovely, comfortable bed, fans in the rooms kept you cool, location was great 2 mins from the beach and national park & bus station. We saw lots of monkeys in the camp as well. We extended our stay by 3 nights we loved it so much!

This is a super nice place to stay. And really close to the national park entrance. It has a cute garden, with a nice hangout. Clean and simple bedrooms.

Die Anlage war hochwertig gestaltet, ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Bad war top und immer sauber. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Bungalows sind gut gemacht und jeder ist mit einem Balkon ausgestattet.
Die Kommunikation ist eher distanziert und man muss zwingend vor 20 Uhr einchecken, was auf Booking leider nicht klar ersichtlich ist. Da man auf die Busse z.b aus San Jose angewiesen ist, macht einem das ein mulmiges Gefühl, ob man es rechtzeitig schaffen wird.
Der Kühlschrank hat etwas gemüffelt und wurde nicht mehr richtig kalt, wird aber wohl behoben.
Im Bungalow wird es nachts wirklich etwa heiß und wir hatten trotz Ventilator Schwierigkeiten zu schlafen.

Es war mal echt was anderes und irgendwie eine coole Erfahrung. Sehr freundliches Personal.
Leider war es im Fass ziemlich heiß und die Luft ist ziemlich gestanden, trotz Ventilator. Dieser ist leider in der Nacht dann auch noch zweimal heruntergefallen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, die Dame am Empfang gibt gute Tipps für die Umgebung. Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt. Betten sind bequem, jeder hat eigene Steckdosen und Ventilatoren, was bei den Temperaturen aus meiner Sicht ein Must Have ist. Die Lage direkt am Nationalpark ist auch super.
Die Küche ist sehr eng und es gibt nur ein Waschbecken. Bin auf Toast und Fertiggerichte umgestiegen, da das Kochen so sehr anstrengend war. Schlafsäle sind ebenfalls sehr eng, dafür ist es günstig.
Auch 2 Wochen vor meiner Ankunft war keine Umbuchung möglich, obwohl Betten frei waren. Empfehle daher eher kurzfristige Reservierungen, da man ansonsten nicht mehr flexibel ist.

Die Unterkunft ist außergewöhnlich durch die Bauweise und Sauberkeit. Sehr ruhig und gemütlich im Fass zu übernachten. Mich stört es nicht, wenn es wärmer ist beim Schlafen. Fenster und Tür muss in der Nacht geschlossen bleiben wegen der Mosquitos. Es gibt im oberen Bereich einen Lüftungsschlitz mit Netz, wo ein bisschen Frischluft rein kann. Ein Ventilator ist im Fass, habe ich aber nicht benutzt.
Die Gemeinschaftsküche kann von 7-20.30 Uhr benutzt werden. Zwei große Kühlschränke stehen der Allgemeinheit zur Verfügung. Sehr nahe zum Eingang zum Nationalpark Cahuita - Fussweite 2 Min, den ihr unbedingt bis zum Ende durchgehen solltet. 8km Erlebnis pur gegen eine freie Spende.

Es ist eine zauberhaften Unterkunft, abgeschlossen aber nicht ausgesperrt, freundliches Personal, gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, gut zu benutzende Kühlschränke. Nähe zum Cahuita Nationalpark, Nähe zum Supermarkt. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt!

Su ubicación es inmejorable a dos minutos caminando de el parque cahuita, el trato que me frindaron fui increíble, son muy amables. Realmente lo recomiendo, las camas son muy cómodas, los baños limpios, el lugar es muy lindo incluso vi un perezoso dentro de las instalaciones (en el parque se ven muy lejos, en cambio aquí estaba a mi altura), y el horario de la cocina que habré a las 7 está bien puesto que el parque empieza a funcionar a las 7:30.

La chambre de filles était parfaite : spacieuse et surtout salle de bain à l’intérieur, donc réservée aux filles aussi. Les toilettes sont séparées et elles aussi à l’intérieur du dortoir, donc réservées aux 8 filles du dortoir. La douche est super, grande, jolie et moderne, eau froide mais on s’y fait.
On a un ventilateur par personne. La chambre est plutôt spacieuse.
Les espaces communs sont très biens : coin chaises/hamacs, coin cuisine et terrasse parfait avec prises électriques en extérieur, cuisine équipée avec le nécessaire et bien entretenue pour une grande cuisine collective.
L’emplacement est parfait, dans la même rue que l’entre du parc national.
De loin la meilleure auberge que j’ai testé au Costa Rica ou ailleurs.
J’y ai également fait de super rencontres :)

Lage, Ausstattung und Sauberkeit
Aufgrund einer völlig absurden Beschuldigung wurde ich absolut ungerechtfertigt im wahrsten Sinne des Wort „rausgeworfen“, ohne den Sachverhalt überhaupt zu prüfen. Ich sollte abends 20 Uhr ohne Vorankündigung plötzlich das Hostel innerhalb von 15 Minuten verlassen! Der einzige Grund war, dass ich mich ratsuchend an Booking.com gewendet hatte wegen dieser absurden Beschuldigung. Nur durch (ungerechtfertigte) Zahlung einer größeren Summe konnte ich verhindern, die Nacht auf der Straße verbringen zu müssen. Trotzdem wurden meine Sachen von der Hostelbesitzerin am nächsten Morgen noch vor der Checkout-Zeit vor die Gartentür in den Schmutz geworfen! Auch die anderen Gäste waren entsetzt. Ein unfassbar schockierendes Verhalten!

Chambre super belle et bien décorée avec 4 ventilateurs, eau chaude et miroir moderne qui allume, hamacs confortables; le site dont la partie avec chambre dans des genre de « tonneaux » pour 2 personnes est modernes et au goût du jour.
Super beautiful and well decorated room with 4 fans, hot water and modern mirror that lights, comfortable hammocks; the site including the part with room in a type of “barrels” for 2 people, modern and up to date.
Accueil très froid et arrogant; mon chauffeur de taxi a du s’obstiner en espagnol avec la dame car elle refusait de nous ouvrir le portail; alors qu’on avait très bien confirmé que nous pouvions porter nos bagages dans un locker avant que notre chambre soit prête; très désagréable comme accueil. Manque d’espace dans la cuisine et la salle à manger compte tenu du volume de personnes, pas de savon à main dans la cuisine, manque de fourchette, manque de linge de table, aucun produit de nettoyage, manque de place dans le frigo; aucun congélateur et donc aucune glace; aucune vrai cafetière (juste un vieux filtre en tissus réutilisable et une bouilloire), un toaster sur 2 ne fonctionne pas. La cuisine commune ferme à 21h30, donc après 21h30, vous n’aurez pas accès au frigo, donc vous devrez attendre au lendemain ou bien boire votre bière/vin chaud en attendant le lendemain. Le coin fumeur (obligatoire même pour vapoteuse) est désuet, et à ciel ouvert, donc sous la pluie pas très agréable; vous serez également dans la noirceur totale à partir de 21h30. Odeur d’égouts présente en tout temps à certains endroits sur le site. L’aménagement du site est en partie désuet (les plates-bandes semblent abandonnés, tables et chaises toutes rouillés, quelques planches de bois pourries, fontaines hors fonction, entrée extrêmement glissante lorsque mouillée). Aucune chaise, fauteuil ou bureau dans la chambre, ni de frigo qui aurait tellement été pratique; aucune oreiller ou couverture supplémentaire, porte-moustiquaire défectueux et très difficile à ouvrir & fermer. Wifi instable et se déconnecte régulièrement. La dernière journée, notre shuttle arrivait seulement à 13h, les propriétaires nous ont permis de « profiter des installations » en attendant, mais il nous était interdit d’utiliser les toilettes à partir de 11h (sachant que j’ai 2 jeunes enfants et que nous quittions pour 5h de route en shuttle).

The location was nice, the garden is nice and we saw many animals in the garden (a sloth, raccoons, monkeys, agouti, birds), kitchen was nice, usb charging and a small light next to each bed was a plus.

Malheureusement, le voisin a été très bruyant, ainsi que nos voisines de chambrées, mais ce n’est pas de la faute de l’hôtel. Le problème que nous avons rencontré est l’ouverture de la cuisine commune un peu tardive par rapport à notre programme : nous n’avons pas pu en profiter (elle ouvre à 7h). Malgré tout, le séjour a été confortable et le personnel très sympathique et serviable.

Les parties communes et les sanitaires étaient très propres, nettoyés plusieurs fois par jours. Les douches sont modernes. Nous avons séjourné dans l’une des cabines, c’était très mignon. Gros plus pour le patio et le coin fumeur entourés d’une belle végétation.
Il aurait été plus pratique d’avoir deux trousseaux de clés.

been sent to bed with ALL public areas closed at 9:30! and only one rusty tiny table in front of the dorm for 10 people to use. I needed to eork at night and wouldn't have made any noise absolutely a no go. bunk are cramped and squezed in a too tiny room. smoker's area causes smoke to drift over to the seating area at the kitchen every time.bad location placement. kitchen locked in the evening also,so only water resource is the one tap in the bathroom and no glasses or cups.

Du sitzt im Erdgeschoss, die Putzfrau im Obergeschoss fegt den Dreck einfach vom Balkon runter und die findest Dich in einer Staubwolke wieder.. unnötig oft muss ein Schlüssel verwendet werden, für nahezu jede Türe, wird mit der Zeit sehr nervig.

Un espai molt ben cuidat, fins el mes mínim detall. MOLT net. Les habitacions i el lavabo son de 10. Una cuina molt ben equipada (i amb paelles bones!!!).
No espereu tenir aparcament, nomes hi ha 4 places i es donen per ordre d’arribada. Nosaltres vam arribar exactament al mateix moment que uns altres, els vam deixar passar i resulta que era la ultima plaça disponible. Aquest cotxe va decidir marxar als pocs minuts i ens van dir que igualment ja no podíem aparcar nosaltres.
Tot i aixo, la propietària ens va deixar aparcar just al davant per tenir-lo a l’abast.
