Great budget room. Few minutes walk from the centre. 10 mins walk to the train station. Very comfy bed. Upstairs patio area. Friendly staff. Remote was missing, they bought a new one and had it working in under 2 hours. Fabulous

The Huntsman is very well placed to explore Salisbury. It is a very traditional Pub/Hotel and gives a good insight into the locality. I was very comfortable there and it provided all I needed.
Obviously being a working Pub there was a degree of music/talking during the evening, but that is to be expected. All was quiet by 11 and it had no influence on my sleep. I have put this in the negative box but it wasn't really a problem.
3.4
It had a bed and a cupboard
The toilet was shared, the bed was very creepy and uncomfortable to sleep in, there were stains on the sheets, it was very loud downstairs in the pub, lots of noise early in the morning

A great stay with excellent location
Nothing
3.4
There was none
The bathrooms were very dirty this time around.
Could they repair the shower up stairs as only the one on the first floor works
3.4
I was pleasantly surprised.
The pub was a bit noisey but it’s a working man’s pub but all seemed friendly just having a good time . Good vibes from regulars etc
3.4
just the basics
shared bathroom
3.4
Friendly staff. Central location. Perfect for our overnight work trips
3.4
Close to where I needed to be
The shower on my floor was broken, didn't realise they were shared bathrooms either
3.4
Very comfortable bed in a decently sized room.
Tea/coffee facilities provided, as well as an iron and ironing board. Staff were friendly and the pub has a really nice atmosphere.
The temperature controls on the shared shower were a bit tricky, but not a huge problem.
3.4
It's in a good quiet location on the edge of the city centre with all the main attractions easily walkable. Ideal if all you want is a bed for the night.
Above a noisy pub that attracts loud live music. Room was functional but very basic and not serviced throughout the stay. Very expensive for what was offered. Some random gentleman at the top of the stairwell asked to take the key on the final morning to clean the room - frankly he could have been anyone - no obvious sign he was a cleaner considering he was sat on the roof terrace immediately prior.

The location of this accommodation was fantastic, close to all shops, pub’s & restaurants. There’s a long stay car park a few steps away for parking (cost £9.70 overnight). Slept really well, not as noises as I’d expected it to be, managed to sleep with the windows open and these faced out to a main road. Beds were pretty comfortable too.
Was pretty disappointed that the room I was given had no sink, it had been removed from the wall. Not great when there was access to only 1 shower (other one was broken). I only considered a shared bathroom as the photos of the room showed sinks. My purpose for staying was a night out, therefore didn’t want to have to get up ridiculously early to ensure I got into the bathroom. I woke at 8am…….bathroom constantly busy so to ensure we were checked out by 10am checkout we had no choice but to just have a quick wash in the toilet with broken shower but working sink. I found the 10am checkout too early with one working shower.

Central location/cost
Shared bathroom but booked knowing this was the case.
3.4
Lovely staff, basic but does the job for the night and very good value for money
3.4
Convenient distance from train station and work
Bed and linen clean and comfortable bed but carpets dirty, dust all over the surfaces and bedside lamp shade full of dust as well as the wardrobe mirror.
Communal bathroom for ladies and gentleman not really ideal.
Hand basin in bedroom no hot water.
Ironing board in bedroom but no iron.
Dust on the tea/coffee tray concerning.
Place need updating, revamping to look cleaner.

We booked a cheap property I think it was valve for what we paid , staff friendly and helpful
The shared bathroom could be upgraded and be slightly cleaner , sharing with 5 rooms !!
3.4
This is by far the most cost effective place to stay, if you want no frills a bed and willing to share the bathroom. For 1 night for business travelers it might work for you if you don’t have any expectations.
If a little time was taken to upgrade, the rooms, replacing carpets with hard flooring it would be cleaner and remove the musty smell. In terms of being above the bar, expect the noise to be until after closing time. There is no breakfast on site but the town is only a few minutes away.

No breakfast provided. Location was fine.
Wardrobe fell over when door was opened. Staff disturbed us an hour before checkout time. When I pointed out that their paperwork clearly stated "checkout no later that 11AM" they said their computer had "gone down" and they were just checking to see when we were planning to leave.....
The floor of the shared shower was cracked and flexed in a disturbing way. There was a great deal of noise from outside until the early hours of the morning.

There was no breakfast

Excellent value for money. Good connectivity in the room. Very comfortable.
All was good, I wasn't sure where to leave my key as I left before anyone was around on the morning but that wasn't a big deal.

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Room was of a good size and was comfortable. Shared bathroom was very clean and communal areas were also clean and tidy. Met some of the locals from the area who were also very friendly even inviting me over for a game of pool
Cant think of anything that I disliked to be perfectly honest everything was as expected or better

There was no breakfast. Although this is advertised as a B&B and there is a B&B sign in the window it is room only. When I inquired why the room was advertised as bed & breakfast but no breakfast available, I was told that this was because there was no kitchen facility on the site and this was the only option for advertising on booking.com
there are no en suite.
The shower, in the share bathroom, ran hot and cold regardless of what temperature you set it.
The basin was dirty - the same dirty was there the whole of my 3 day stay.
There are no paper hand towels in the bathroom.
In the room there is mould around the window - needs a thorough clean.
The tea cup was not cleaned every day or the supplies replenished - I had to ask for extra milk each day.
Take away food boxes not cleared from the room & no large dustbin available so that I could dispose of them.
No hot water in the basin in the room; ran the water for ages but never warmed up so stopped, as didn't want to waste any more water.

everything is broken or out of order

The staff are excellent, friendly and accommodating. The room was warm, clean and well appointed. It has a lively and local following that enjoys music and sport.

It is a nice spot in the city center. You get some spare tea and snacks. The showers and toilets are on the floor and were clean.
Our room had a broken window and the room was cold. The heating was very light. the sink didn't drain.

Its the most funny place in Salisbury
Only the shower, need to replace it!
