After parking your car in our private gated parking area, walk through a lovely landscaped courtyard to the front door. Enter the comfortably furnished living room, and see the dining area and kitchen off to your left. Proceed to the hallway and two bedrooms in the rear. You will see the lovely green park across the street, and you can take a peek at the beach and ocean from the bedroom windows.
Walk across quiet Sandyland Road to the 'world's safest beach'--for swimming, surfing, beachcombing, bird watching, or just sitting on the sand and building sand castles! Or stroll up the street to the charming small town shops, galleries, restaurants, and the weekly farmer's market. Take a leisurely 10 mile drive to Santa Barbara for museums, entertainment, fine dining and shopping, or hop on the train for a jaunt to Los Angeles, Ventura or Santa Barbara.

Summertime Scenes to Explore
A pleasant place, with views of the seashore. We enjoyed Mango Margaritas up on the balcony while watching the waves! Located near tide pools, salt marsh, and parks. We would definitely return. The management was responsive and helpful. Thanks for a memorable summer vacation.

Simply and easy
There is a gated entry for cars which is much better and safer than parking on the street. The condo has beds for 4 but if necessary there is also a pull-out couch and a pull-out chair as well. It's the most luxurious place, but it literally is only steps from the beach, clean, and easy to find and access. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook. We'd definitely stay here again.

We love Carpenteria. This was the first time we’ve rented. We usually stay with family. This was a nice little condo but we needed more bathrooms and a little more space for the six of us.

Fabulous Condo Across From Beach
This was a wonderful two bedroom condo steps away from the beach. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Claire was extremely helpful and offered suggestions on great local establishments. We will be back.

Best location in Carp. We walked everywhere- for coffee, beach walks and to dinner. Not plush, but clean, tidy and all you need for a week near the water! Thank you!

We were very happy with the condo. Everything was as listed, lots to do and across the street from Carpinteria State Park. Also as a side note the TV's actually got regular TV. Many times at other VRBO's we've only had wifi and no local TV channels. While we didn't spend a lot of time in the room we enjoy watching early morning news or late night TV. The home was well maintained and cared for. Everyone from the owner to the management company were very attendful. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone.Bruce

We were very happy with the condo. Everything was as listed, lots to do and across the street from Carpinteria State Park. Also as a side note the TV's actually got regular TV. Claire was very reponsive when we needed her. The king bed was very comfortable and our two kids loved having separate twin beds. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room furniture was older style but pretty comfortable as well. We’d love to come back next year!

Great Location
The property is in a great location, just from the beach, and a walk into town. The train stop is a few mins walk and $7 you can be in Santa Barbara. The pool etc. are very clean and well kept. The combined quite easy location with the choices to go into town or catch the train make this a very good place to stay. Driving, you are only a few mins from the 101 main road, 15-20 mins from Santa Barbara, couple of hours from LA. A nice relaxing location.

Avocado Festival & SpaceX Launch
We had the best experience at this property only steps away from the beach. This place was just enough room for our family of four to spread out and enjoy our time away from home. We utilized everything it had to offer, from making dinners in the well equipped kitchen, to removing little bits of tar "protip" with baby oil from the bottom of our kiddos feet from the beach. Conveniently located in walking distance to everything we wanted/needed for the weekend. Thank you so much for our mini-vaca!

Perfect little condo! Everything was in good condition, bathroom and kitchen have been recently updated. Literally steps to the beach. Complex is nice too, with a pool & hot tub, laundry, business center with printer. Carpinteria is a great, walkable town. 5 min walk to the Spot for the best burgers in the world!

Serene condo steps from the beach
This is a beautiful little condo tucked into a quiet and mature complex just across the street from Carpinteria City Beach. One of the nice things about it is that it deals in a lot of long-term resident rentals, so there is less chaos than some of the other rental properties in the area. The condo is well-appointed with comfortable living room furniture, brand new beds in the bedrooms, and a lovely updated bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need in order to make a full meal, or the condo is just a few blocks from the center of town, including Oaxaca Fresh, a great Mexican food restaurant, and Pizza Man Dan's, a new pizza place in town. Highly recommended for a peaceful, central stay close to everything!

Amazing gem in Carpinteria
This unit is perfect for a family to stay in. It’s got lots of sleeping options and a kitchen stocked with everything you need (you bring your own food). The building itself is really quiet and it’s literally a 30 second walk to the beach. The unit has no AC but it has ceiling fans which kept it cool enough. Another perk for us was the laundry facilities which has many washers and dryers. The pool and spa was also a big plus and was empty! We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent first impression.
So many good things to say about this property. Location is outstanding. Walking distance to everything. An abundance of supplies, bedding, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella. Some things I really liked. Shower rod over shower for wet swimsuits. Extra towel hooks everywhere so you don’t have to drape towels over chairs and hangers. Far enough away from the train that it didn’t really bother us. Cozy deck spot that looks toward ocean for eating. Convenient key pick up and drop off. Great restaurants and stores. Only wish my weather had been better but that is certainly out of Claire’s control. ;-). Claire is a fantastic host. Offers her number and great communication!

Family Reunion In Carpinteria
This unit was perfect for our needs. Spent Thanksgiving with family, the weather was perfect, amazing location, we may make this an annual event. The unit has been freshened up, very comfortable. The only complaint I have is the single ply toilet paper.

The unit was perfect for our Thanksgiving family reunion in Carpinteria. You just can't do better with the location. We took in the lovely sunsets nearly every evening and strolls down town to shop or eat. We may want to make this an annual event. This unit appears to have been freshly updated and is very comfortable.

i wish they stocked it with enough toilet paper and paper towels. It only had two rolls and no extras in the cabinets. We had to supply our own for the weekend after we ran out. Minor but inconvenient

We loved our time here! Tile throughout kept it so the sand stayed outside at the beach instead of getting stuck in carpet, big plus!! We walked to town and to the beach daily, great location. Can't wait to come back next year!

An easy ramble to a beautiful beach
This condo was exactly what I was looking for in Carpinteria. It was comfortable, casual, well-appointed, and most importantly, steps from the beach and an easy walk into town. I parked my car for the duration of my stay, because you can walk to everything, including a grocery store. The property was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully remodeled. The central courtyard is green and peaceful and the other people who live there are respectful and many are full-time residents. With the shades on the front windows open, light from the courtyard enters the living room and kitchen and I barely had to use light fixtures at all! Really great place to stay in a lovely beach town that has remained charming and fairly sleepy.

Great location - ok accommodation
The apartment is very close to the beach and in a nice enough complex with a pool. However, the apartment is showing its age and the furnishings are a bit dark and shabby. The owner provided very helpful local information and her messages felt welcoming. We enjoyed our stay overall, but the apartment felt overpriced for what it was.

The location steals the show of the list of pros for this property. We parked our car in the gated parking lot and didn't use it once. As a mama with 2 littles under 5 I appreciated the plantation shutters for dark rooms for naps; the beds and couches were comfortable, the overall property was well maintained; we appreciated having extra beach chairs & sand toys provided; the linens were nice; plenty of storage...can't say enough good things! We will most definitely be back!! ❤️

Located right next to the state beach! Great field area and playground literally right outside the condo. Easy walking distance to local coffee shops, food and brewery. It has a gated parking area, which was nice. House was a perfect fit for us and our two kids. Was easy to get everyone out of the house and to the beach without needing a car. The complex is a little older than some of the new ones in the neighborhood, but it was kept up well and I thought a great value.

The condo was very comfortable sleeping 6. It was well equipped with the benefit of a barbecue area. The big bonus was the steps to the beach md walkability to shops and restaurants. Would rent this condo again. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

We stayed here in early September and could not be happier about our trip. The use of space at this place is perfect. The living room can seat maybe 8 people comfortably, also has two pullouts for extra beds. I love how the place is decorated simply and beautifully - no clutter to stress about. The bathroom looks like it was update recently with cute beach themed tiles. You can hear the waves if you sleep with the windows open. In addition to the beach and the cute town, you are also super close to the bluffs and the salt marsh if you want to enjoy even more scenic beauty!

Carpinteria is a great little beach town that has somehow managed to retain its small town charm despite an increase in visitors. This condo is a comfortable little place to stay a mere block from the beach. It is not a five-star resort, but if you're looking for that sort of treatment, Santa Barbara isn't far away. If you're looking for a great little place to stay that's close to the action, walking distance to the mom and pop candy store, the pedicure place, the grocery store, and OFCOURSE, the BEACH, I would highly recommend it. The owner is responsive and has people in town if you have any trouble, and you're encouraged to relax and enjoy your stay.
There are BBQ grills mere steps away, common laundry close by, reserved parking spots (which is gold in Carpinteria on holiday weekends), and a rarely busy pool and hot tub.
The unit is very quiet, there are a lot of full time owners in the unit or those who only rent their units occasionally, so it stays pretty relaxed.
Santa Barbara with its missions and sightseeing isn't far away and honestly, LA with Disneyland and studio tours and stuff also is fairly close (although why you would want to leave the beach is beyond me!)

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! The unit is very quiet and downstairs which is nice when you have lots of luggage to carry in. The community pool was nice, clean and not busy which we loved. The unit is very close to everything - the beach, downtown area, hiking trails, etc. we will definitely look for this rental again whenever we visit Carpinteria!
