Excellent location - great for all the shops and facilities of Cockermouth but off the main road so lovely and quiet. Excellent host who always replied to queries quickly and with easy/well organised access to property. A lovely place and will definitely stay again (& recommend to others). Great find - thank you!

Good location and a short walk to the main shopping street
The property clearly needs a deep clean. Wine/gin glasses had lipstick stains, drawers had hairs in, white crusty stain on the bed throw, bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained used condom. The freezer contained used ice cubes and a half eaten tub of ice cream. Communal stairwell very dusty and dirty, and the oven knob was broken. No door keys are in use codes only which doesn’t feel safe. The sofa was very uncomfortable and the pillows were hard and uncomfortable so quality of sleep was very poor.

Text message with the access codes - one for the key box outside, then one for the lock on the apartment door. A little tricky with bags in hand, but lesson learned there!
Nice property, private parking in the heart of Cockermouth! Great communication with the host.
Comfortable bed and lovely powerful shower.
As a lot of people were using the lockbox, at first I was a little worried about security to the main building. But most people left the box secure.
Blinds could do with replacing as could some items in the kitchen.

Lovely, clean and nicely decorated flat. Great location, super close to the high street and with free parking. Friendly owner and very easy check in and access.
pillows were very uncomfortable but that’s the only thing we could fault - everything else was fab.

Self catering, Location was ideal near to town centre
no heating after 5,00pm and only on a hour or so at a time , poor comfortable seating especially if more than 2 people

It was a very clean, well equipped apartment, in an ideal location.
My only little criticism is, I would have liked a little welcome pack, ie tea milk sugar, I'm sure people wouldn't mind paying a few extra quid to be able to have a brew on arrival.

Great location, the apartment had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Good information from the owner prior to the stay. Would stay again.
Personal preference but the bedroom pillows were very uncomfortable. If you don’t like hard pillows, bring your own.
The sponge for washing up was very dirty with no replacement sponges left in the apartment. Other than that the apartment was very clean.

great location close to town centre. clean, modern and well equipped 2nd floor flat
keyless entry was very convenient, but the touch button access to flat is not the most secure and I would prefer an additional key lock.

Location was very central and quiet. A well stocked kitchen. Would benefit from a smart TV.
Key safe with key to main door was extremely difficult to open. Other guests must also have encountered this as the main door was left open during the day. It basically needs replacing.

Very close to city center, nicely appointed with all you need for a multiple day stay. Parking right outside your apartment.
Bedrooms a bit too small for the bed but not a major issue.

it was nice and clean
toilet flush was not working properly, we complained about it but no action was taken

The location with respect to the town centre was excellent. The apartment was clean and pleasantly presented.
First impressions weren't great - the building on the outside is rather shabby, and the car park space was littered with cigarette ends. Inside, the public areas were clean but basic - reminded me of an aging halls of residence and the doors and door furniture were cheap.
Inside, the apartment was clean and well presented, however an allowance of 1.5 toilet rolls for the weekend and being told extra were down to us to supply, was stingy. After a long journey, a cuppa would have been welcome, but there was no tea or coffee - not even a small amount for that purpose.
I recently stayed at self catering accommodation in Northumberland where tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and eggs were provided upon arrival. It's small, inexpensive gestures like that, which make the difference and otherwise let a place down.

Very clean and comfortable.
Tea and coffee not provided. This was because of COVID.

The cleanliness of the apartment. It's a great size and everything you need for self catering. Lovely being on second floor overlooking roof tops. Quiet apart from the one negative! Comfortable beds. Comfy and warm overall. Nice bathroom with good shower. The location in the town centre with a parking place which is a big bonus here. Liked the key lock system. For those concerned about T.V and WiFi...... Good TV reception, WiFi intermittent but does work.
The noisy heating system. I was soooooo grateful I had earplugs. That is the only downside tho. We would have switched it off at night if we'd been able. It wouldn't put us off coming back tho.... Just bring earplugs!!!

The location was great. Very warm. Plenty of space
The apartment was not very clean, which is especially disappointing and concerning at this time with Covid and they stated extra cleaning had been undertaken due to this. We spent most of our first day shopping for cleaning supplies, cleaning the apartment, all the crockery/cutlery we wanted to use, and the fridge which stank. There were no wine glasses or champagne flutes, which was disappointing when we were there over Christmas and new year. We had to soak the shower head in bleach as it was mouldy. Hot water ran out and there was only two of us. No contact while we there to check everything was ok, nor since our departure. Internet was poor. Previous stays at other apartments we have had, had a welcome pack with a few basics in and often information about things to do in the area, but there wasn’t anything like that
