Loved how the chooks came and perched on the out door seats with me 🥰
Nothing - was perfect 😊

I loved that you felt at home with all the chickens and sheep..was a very pretty place to stay for a few days ..the staff very friendly and accommodating and pointed us in the right direction for a great day out ..
Would have liked paper towels or tissues in the unit ..walls are a bit paper thin ,could hear the guy snoring next door,he actually woke us up..though I don’t think this happens a lot …and better pillows ..

Lieu idéal à hawera magnifique vue sur le volcan et endroit calme. Mouton au centre de la propriété .
Installation aux top
Je fais rarement de commentaire, mais cette emplacement vaut le détour.
Par contre un peu trop lumineux le matin

3 weeks on what I most remember was the lovely lady at reception, it was lovely to talk to her. The cabin was great, really liked the ramp, my husband has a bad back and doesn't like steps so it worked for us. But it was spacious and airy and though there was no aircon but they provided a big fan which was great because it was unexpectedly humid.
Loved the fact that the motel is part of a working farm and you can see the animals.
It was a short drive to town and all amenities.
Bed configuration in our room was a bit awkward due to the shape of the room, one side was pushed up against the wall, I ended up sleeping in the spare bed so I wouldn't have to clamber out. Just something to be aware of if you are less mobile.

Lovely outlook with cherry trees flowering on property. Good for visiting the local gardens in Fringe festival. I left some clothing in the wardrobe and Karen kindly couriered them to me. Able to check out a little later as the All Blacks World cup match was playing.

My grandchildren enjoyed the horses and the beautiful personalities of the dogs. It's different to other motel stays because of the animals. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they made us feel so welcome, when we go to Hawera again, I am going to book there again. Thankyou so much for having us and there were a lot of us. I booked two apartments they suited our large family.
Only one thing, no lock on the bathroom door.

The setting was beautiful. Out in the country.
The internet was shocking on my phone and iPad. Also trying to watch tv was near impossible because it kept having this scratching sound and fading in and out, you had to turn it off because it was annoying.

Rooms are clean, spacious and comfy. This was our 2nd trip in New Zealand. Karen and her husband were amazing . We were late to check-in on the day. But she and her husband were there to welcome and show us the rooms. My family loved the place.

warm, quiet, clean and comfortable
Nothing of note, other than a dog had soiled beside the car boot, so it was caution when loading.

The room had a nice feel to it and it was comfortable.
Things are getting outdated and the toilet was dirty under the rim, noticed this when having a spa bath, only 1 of 4 nozzles worked well. Cups for drinks are really small. I think it would have been lovely back in the day.

Nice and cosy.
The only downside was the glass front and back doors. The sun would be shining in making it very bright first thing in the morning

She was very rude. I thhought it might be racism. I asked for 2 beds 2 rooms as my friend had to find elsewhere because there was only 1 bed

We had a friendly welcome and we were shown to our unit which was lovely and spacious, very clean, and very comfortable. We felt we had space to relax. We only spent one night there but we're very pleased with our choice. Setting is lovely...
There wasn't anything we didn't like and would stay there again if we were in the area.

The small farm was cute with all the animals and friendly cat. It’s a bit of a break from the city. Staff was friendly, updated rooms were great.
The Hotspot internet was very slow and poor connection :(
