The unit I stayed in was nice and comfortable with beautiful high pressure in the shower
Construction in the unit next door which wake me up really early on both Saturday and Sunday

Great location, is why I return, plus handy petrol pumps there and fast food and general store attached. Bed is comfy. Lots of parking. It was clean.
The bathroom door was broken and my sister shut it and nearly got stuck in there as it was screwed together and not straight. The door knob on the inside was not intact. There was no shower curtain but shower curtain hooks there. There is no folder to tell you what food is in town, where to go, etc. The wifi drops out when in demand. The staff member is hard to find and I had nowhere to leave my key. I left it on his chair in the office as people were waiting for me in the car, and hoped he would find it. It was too expensive for what it was.

Had basics, it’s was clean, away from the traffic and quiet. It was perfect for a one night stay and the price for two units side by side was very affordable.

nice linen and towels

If you want 1970s chic which is spotlessly clean and a great price - go no further! Yes, the lino might be cracked, and you fill the jug in the bathroom, but I love it - it's like camping indoors :)
The shower exfoliates you at the same time - pressure is high and plenty of hot water. Nice array of organic tea, coffee, hot choc etc, little 250ml milk.
I really liked my last room last time I stayed but couldn't remember the number, this one wasn't so good but still okay.
All in all, it suits me as I am visiting family there.
The chicken and chips in the store are really good, plus it is the Gull station so you can fill the car at the same time.
The reception. oh gosh. It is temporarily IN the convenience store, last time I came it was around the side in the old night club (memories...). The renovations are taking a long time. The guy behind the counter served me over the top of another customer who was there before me getting coffees; I apologised to her. He probably spoke 5 words to both of us the whole time. Super uncomfortable, not good customer service.
I'd really like curtains on the windows - I know it's a hassle - but the windows on Unit 3 open into a kind of courtyard and anyone could see in. I would like a little more security on the door and windows but that is just me as I'm on my own but am sure the whole place is pretty secure.
Couldn't find the instructions for the TV but figured it out.

No reception area at all. A tiny note on door where reception used to be saying go to Gull service station next door. I don’t know what the experience would be if the shop had been shut.

Location to where I had to be.
No kitchen sink had to wash dishers in bathroom basin not hygenic at all. Window in bathroom by toilet area not private & drapes not private either could see through them. Broken fixtures need replacing. Power point in bathroom dosn't take hair dryer if it does never worked. Shower piped wrong way & shower Rose to low even for me & im short.
