Elemis products! Clean, bright room. Lovely decor and very comfortable bed. I slept really well.
10.30 check-out is too early. Breakfast was lovely and waitress was very friendly. Tables need a good wipe down before each new sitting though. Mine looked a little grubby/greasy.
Would have liked the outer door to my room shut and not pinned open. This would have avoided a lot of noise from passers by, going to their rooms. Admittedly I couldn’t work out how to unpin it myself!

The Pub was in a great location, close to all that we needed. The room was wonderful with a lovely old world feel, warm and quiet, despite being near a main road. Good choice of beer and great food. Above all the staff were wonderful.
Nothing!

What a beautiful location! This Inn is in a prime spot for walking into town while offering great views and amazing food and service. Extremely friendly staff and wonderful choice of food and drink in the adjacent pub.

Lovely spot. Clean, tidy, friendly staff. Parking for hotel rooms was a great bonus. Sorry we were not there for longer.
It was a little expensive but it was also Exeter graduation weekend so that was why! I think for £170 a night they could have included breakfast though!

Position on the River
Some staff were a bit sour !! Bar staff.

Nothing to report.

staff very helpful and friendly. room clean and well specced. Breakfast was excellent. Checking in and out was easy and quick.
view from bedroom window but that was just luck of the draw
4.0
Restaurant had good food. Bed was comfortable. Easy walk into the centre of town. Parking.
Room got very warm and the fan didn't do much to cool it. Scaffolding outside prevented the window from opening much.
4.5
Comfortable for breakfast and afternoon refreshments. The view of the river and weir from the room and restaurants as well as riverside was lovely.
The sun heats up the room in such a way that the curtains/drapes have to remain closed in the day making the view of the river unenjoyable.

location by the river, close to city centre.
All good.

Nothing. I would never stay here again. It ruined my stay in Exeter.
Scott the waiter was a really nice man.
We did not get the room that they advertised ar all. The website is very misleading. The room was right on the main busy road, no view, dingy, sink was blocked, no chairs to sit on, tiny room, bed too small, no firdge, no safe, nowhere to hang your clothes. No safety rail in the shower. No bath. Gap under the door. No emergency phone. Felt very cheated out of a room at £150 a night. Made us wait half an hour for our breakfast. Overpriced evening meal and food quality was appalling.

Nice quiet room overlooking river close to town centre.

The location was great, handy for Exeter centre and quayside. The bar and restaurant were great.
It was a little tired in places and not clean in places.

Very comfortable, spacious room overlooking the River Exe, providing instant access to a great pub/restaurant.

Room was large, bed comfortable, tea and coffee facilities, nice view of river and garden. Dinner and breakfast was very good and staff lovely and friendly. Bathroom shower was amazing.
Room needs some maintenance, window in bathroom rotting, window didn’t shut properly. Some mould on the sealant in bathroom.

fantastic location, short walk from the train station.

Lovely pub. Nice room, would have liked to upgrade to river facing, but I didn't do it at the time of booking and the rooms were full. Will know next time. The food is SUPERB.

nothing not to like

Room very spacious. Good facilities. Staff are all brilliant and cant do enough for you.
All have a smile on their faces.
Not much really. The food is ok. It's not fine dining but it's not fine dining prices. It is wholesome hearty food.

Friendly, full of character, excellent location and great breakfast.
Nothing really.
4.5
The position alongside the Exe. The attentive staff.

Really loved this place. It’s in a delightful location.
There is a need for air conditioning in the rooms. There is a Dyson fan but this is not adequate and we were not there in summer so I feel it would be very uncomfortable at that time
