Fijne locatie.

The hostel is what an hostel is upposed to be, it has all the amenities one needs, and a good relaxation/reading/eating area. Most on the outside. If it's raining, you'll be more limited but it's fine anyways. Beds are not very comfortable, but they make do. A nice touch is the gravy floor on the outside, as you don't bring any sand into the rooms. Liked it a lot!
all was good!

Duschen sind sehr gut, Wäsche Service ist auch sehr gut.
Service Personal langsam und überfordert

I was in a small 4 people dorm with en-suite bathroom. Room, bathroom and kitchen very clean. Good air conditioning during night.
does not offer anything more than the bed, the bathroom, and a space with chairs. May be improved by a table football or similar.

Location was great. very close to lots of dive shops, restaurants, and a convenience store right around the corner
Wifi was very spotty in the room I was in. Also every I met there was great, but there isnt a great "communal" space thats inviting for people. There is a table and some chairs, but it wasnt as social as the place next door.

Nice hostel. Easy to meet people. Liked the chilled vibe and the location. Would totally stay here again.

Excellent hostel - super clean, right in the centre of caye caulker! Air con between 6pm-8am is so needed. Staff are super friendly :)
4.1
The hostel has clean facilities and the guy at the desk is very helpful and nice
The room has AC but they had the temperature above 20 and it wasn't sufficient. It was summer and I was sweating a lot at night.

I was recommended this place by other travellers and they weren’t wrong.
Great location, very social, great chillout areas and big kitchen. Everything you need to be honest, overall a pleasant stay and met many other travellers!
The staff cleaned very early! They would come into your room at 8/9am and start cleaning. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good they clean but I woke up twice in bed to see them cleaning the bathroom!
I would have liked some privacy. Atleast start cleaning at checkout time when guests would be awake.

This was a basic hostel in a good location. It has most things you need, however, nothing that really makes it stand out. I did enjoy my time relaxing outside in the hammock.
There's no drinking water or towels provided.

You should definitely stay here! The rooms get cleaned everyday and your sheets get cleaned every other day. You have AC from 6 pm until 8am. Most hostels don’t have AC at all so that’s really nice. Only thing is that it gets quit cold, so maybe thicker blanket is better
Thicker blanket please

Really nice atmosphere, great location, friendly staff

Really nice location
The water pressure in two out of three showers should be higher.
4.1
It was clean and well located with bikes and kayaks for hire, AC at night was good, clean with a good kitchen
I wanted to borrow a kayak but because the person who was borrowing it with me had stayed at the hostel the night before but was not staying that night, they said he wasn't a current guest and wouldn't let me. It meant I couldn't borrow it at all. Seemed a bit petty and pointless

Very clean hostel one minute from the central road in Caye Caulker.

Good location! Cool for meeting new people
There is no pressure for the shower on the second floor room! Also the Internet in our room was really bad!

- beautiful hostel with friendly stuff, located to several bars
- could store our luggare there upfront
- no water in shower
- no discount granted for defect shower although we paid for own bathroom

Friendly staff, clean rooms that are cleaned daily, a very good hostel. I enjoyed my time here

Great vibe and incredibly helpful staff
Dorm spacious and the air con was definitely needed. maybe another fan in the room could’ve been good.
perfect location.
comfortable.
I couldn’t find any bottled water in the place - could’ve done with one of those huge bottles for guests to fill up bottles

chilled vibe
water pressure wasn’t great but the hostel was so nice that we can’t complain

Everything! The kitchen, the outdoor area in front of the bedroom and the common area. It’s perfectly located near the split and the ferry. They arrange a day tour of snorkeling for us and it was the best day ever.
We wished we could have stayed longer !
Wifi wasn’t very strong upstairs in the room.

Loved the location in town, close to the split but down a quiet street. Liked sitting out area, made good friends. Good to have fridge in room.
Room facilities were poor, shower was only a dribble, very difficult to wash hair, toilet broke, repaired later that day. Had to move bed as directly next to some sort of generator/pump which switched on & off through the night adjacent to wall, very poor sleep. Room definitely not worth money. Asked staff to move rooms but no alternative available.

Free kayaks to use with your stay made for a couple of amazing days and sunsets. The cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in with staff dedicated to cleaning all day. Very friendly staff. Kitchen was big with all the necessary equipment.
We tried to as about a refund/ cancellation as the island is expensive. On booking it states no cancellations/ refunds are possible. We did not receive a reply so went ahead with our booking. On booking it states money will be taken before arriving. However payment is only in belizian dollars in the property. The staff were surprised to see us turn up for our booking after our email, though no contact was made to us about a potential change. It was lucky our booking wasn’t erased as they were under the impression we were not coming. The receptionist explained also that there is no charge for cancellation or refund. This needs to be amended on their booking profile as it was incredibly frustrating to read and then be told completely different information. There is also NO free drinking water available, the only hostel in my 2.5 months of travelling that did not provide this. However I am so glad we chose to come as it was one of my highlights, an amazing place full of good food and incredible wildlife.

I had a very unpleasant stay at Hostel Go Slow. I was informed by Booking that the accommodation will charge me for the costs before my arrival. However, when I arrived at the property, a cash payment was required. When I informed them that my booking was different, the two female receptionists became very unpleasant and called me “stupid”. They got very cheeky and sort of “bullied” me, which I find very uncomfortable and inappropriate. The staff insisted that the information from Booking was incorrect and that I had to pay cash. When I asked another question regarding, they only got more uncomfortable. Therefore I agreed to pay for the accommodation in cash but they will not charge me online. She then called her boss and told him that I had come by 5 or 6 times and was having problems. I agreed and just wanted some clarification (a review in Hostelworld mentioned that they double charged someone and didn't get it back). She asked the boss if she could cancel my booking as I was very awkward and probably told more lies about me - which of course are not true. Possibly this situation is on a surveillance video, which could have recorded all this. The boss refused the cancellation. I paid my bill in cash and requested a receipt. She charged me more than what was shown on Booking. I was too scared to clarify this personally. I've been traveling as a solo female backpacker for five months and nothing like this has ever happened to me.

really chilled place, really confortable and calm
the reception is often closed, i had to wait a long time to check in and I couldn’t even check out..
4.1
It was very close to everything you need to get to on the island.
It was clean and functional with great A/C at night
4.1
Very good location, cool common area for hanging out with hammoks and sunbeds, kitchen available, there is an option to get kayak for free too. Nice and welcoming people at the reception.
There were only 2 bathroms, for bigger number of people can be crowded. Due to the AC it was freezing cold at room during night, but there was no remote to AC and the reception people already letf the place.
4.1
Good location
Nice vibe
Easy check in/check out
The cleaning woman came at 8 o'clock inside the room to turn off the AC, at 9 o'clock she came back to clean the bathroom, doesn't matter if your still sleeping or not.
The fridge smelled very bad.
The hostal is quiet expensive for what it is..
4.1
awesome location, kayaks available for free usage and AC, and the staff is very nice!
not comfortable at all, smells like animal pee, and not enough bathrooms. wifi barely works
4.1
Good location, quite clean
While a great location, the hostel is not very welcoming, with lots of signs talking about how people will be evicted for any sort of rule breaking. The wifi basically doesn’t work at all, and no hot water at all. The beds are not very comfortable and very creaky!
4.1
Location
Aircon was turned on by staff before they left for the night, a chilly 22 with no way to change it.
Strict 3pm check in eventhough cleaners were finished.
Bunks had no roll bars, top bunks felt unsafe with gaps both sides
Bathroom often unclean. .
