Leuke boomhut vlakbij alle bezienswaardigheden

Superleuk om met de kinderen in een boomhut te slapen. Locatie supergoed, vlakbij alles waarvoor je in Sigiriya komt. Boomhut zelf is eenvoudig maar schoon en de natuur eromheen is prachtig. Heerlijk eten, zowel diner als ontbijt.

Allemaal vanuit gastvrijheid bedoeld, maar het personeel laat je geen seconde alleen, is erg aanwezig.

Really really nice and also great value for the money. We would do it again :)

The owner Nimmi and her family were super friendly and helpful. She helped us a lot with planning our trips, even arranged a driver and scheduled our breakfast and dinner accordingly. Speaking of which: Shes an amazing cook too and we loved her food. It’s very pleasant to stay at hers and we fully recommend it.

The rooms generally look really nice, especially the treehouse. Unfortunately ours was a bit moldy and dark. That was really the only criticisms we have.

Lovely place in the rain

The location was good, close to important sites. The manager of this home stay had good contacts with tuktuk drivers. I stayed for 2 nights and I got a single room. I didn't need to share with others. All for the same price. The food was delicious.

It was a bit difficult to communicate sometimes and I didn't have patience to guess. To share the WiFi password should be obvious. I had problems in sending working e-mails from my phone and I needed to use my laptop. It was complicated to use the house's Internet facilities despite they had different Internet addresses. The house shouldn't take for granted all guests should use expensive taxis. They should advice about cheaper alternatives. In all places I stayed I got receipts. No in this place. I am not sure this is normal in Sri Lanka.

Casa sull’albero nella giungla

Casa sull’albero incantevole immersa nella giungla. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi con noi e il cibo era delizioso! Consiglio vivamente a circa 5 min di macchina da Lion’s rock, potete chiedere al proprietario di accompagnarvi con l’auto

Tutto perfetto, solo la notte è stata un po’ “rumorosa” ma sono i normali rumori della natura (grilli, rane, frutti di mango che cadono sul tetto della casa), sei in sri lanka!!

Beautiful little tree house with a comfortable room, friendly hosts, they also prepared a delicious dinner. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfast.

Great location and best breakfast we’ve had during our travels! the lady who runs this is so kind and can organise a safari for you. we also enjoyed dinner there one evening and it was very nice. walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. very comfy bed as well.

Calm and cozy stay close to the rock

Lovely people! Lovely plase in the middle of the jungle. We had a room, not a treehouse. With AC. The lovely lady made us breakfast after our hike up to the rock. (Try to go there as early as possible, we started 0500, and had the best Sunrise 👌 bring a headlamp or use your mobile phone) Quite

It was a little bit hard to find from the road, but we had a local guide/driver who called them.

Beautiful spot!

This is a beautiful spot! You feel like you're in the middle of the jungle. You can see the monkeys going up in the trees above you. The owners are super friendly, helped us with everything (transport, tour, washing clothes) and cooked us a superb meal. Also the kid is great companion and showed us the surroundings. Oh, and I definitely must not forget to mention the breakfast: every morning we got served amazing breakfast, with everyday different tastes!

Not much! Just be prepared that the humidity is high which you might notice in the bathroom. And bring mosquito repellent with you.

Perfect stay in a perfect place!

This homestay was an absolutely delightful experience. We were welcomed with a lovely drink and big smiles. The family treated us like their family for the duration of our trip. We spent 4 days there and enjoyed a different breakfast each day. We chose to have dinner there 3 days and the food we ate was wonderful. Almost everything is grown on site and the food is as fresh as food can be. Our children learned so much about how food is grown and got to try wild mango, fresh mango, pomegranate, coconut of all kinds, several kind of bananas, wild honey, and more. We loved learning about Sri Lanka while living with a family. The rooms were generously sized and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially liked the porch. We could sit and listen to the peacocks and other birds in the jungle.

We've stayed in a lot of places, but this ranks as one of the best. We will remember this lovely homestay for many years.

Peaceful and nicely decorated, this guesthouse is a must-try in Sigiriya! The Guesthouse surrounded by greenery is the perfect place to chill after a long day or enjoy a candlelight dinner. The owner was extremely helpful and available and went out of his way to ensure all our needs were taken care of. Thanks and keep up the good work!

The staff were friendly.

In the tree house there are unsafe stairs to the room and the WC. Not suitable for seniors and children. There were insects on the table where you eat breakfast. We had many better hotels in Sri Lanka in the same price.

A genuine and an unforgettable experience

A genuine and an unforgettable experience in the middle of the jungle among villagers. The hospitality was exceptional. Would recommend for people with a little sense of adventure and who would like to have a genuine experience for this part of Sri Lanka.

Just remember that you will stay in nature, so expect some squirrels and maybe few bugs but not much. Rooms were provided with nets.
