Prima hotel. Aardig personeel.

We loved everything! One of the most beautiful places and best hotels I’ve ever been to. The views were spectacular, food was great beds were comfortable. The staff were lovely the pool spa was great. All just top notch! Loved it all completely.
Didn’t want to leave😍🥰

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Food was delicious. Location brilliant. Cleanness on the high level. View from the terrace outstanding.
The whole property was outdated. Didn't match the photos at all. Restaurant very hot, crowded and the design definitely not matching photos on the website. Very dated. Both nights we stayed there was weddings happening, so didn't feel like they had much space to relax for the guests staying in the hotel. Lots of coaches with over 60th people, so felt a bit like care house. You can see that the team and management really trying to keep the hotel afloat. Much respect to them. It is hard job. But for the couple traveling and trying to find relaxed place to stay - maybe not.

The location
The bedrooms dated small and tired

Location Only!
Small old fashion double room
Low water pressure in shower mixer
Tiny bath
Separate hot & cold tabs in basin
Room not cleaned. Had to call the duty manager
3.5
The location and the beautiful sea view and terrace. Food was great.
Although clean, room and bathroom was quite dated.

Hotel itself is lovely in the communal areas but the bedroom/bathroom was very dated and in need of an upgrade. Great views from hotel. Excellent breakfast.
Bedroom very small with no dressing table and this made it impossible to blow dry hair etc. Bathroom very dated and in need of an upgrade.

The matress was exceptional, honestly one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in.
The hotel itself was well kept, with a good standard of decor throughout. Bar and restaurant both well kept.
I loved the availability of single rooms at brilliant prices, great value for money.
Plenty of parking near property.
Great access to the South West Coast Path and an easy walk to the harbour (although, a steep hill).
The cleanliness of the corridor outside my room wasn't brilliant, it didn't look like it was hoovered during my stay (dust along the edges).
It would have been useful to have a menu in my room for reference, but there wasn't one.
With the hotel being an old building, there was constant creaking floors, noisy plumbing, voices heard from the corridor/other rooms and doors opening/closing. If you are a light sleeper, this could be problematic.

The bed in the second room I was in was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
The staff were very pleasant and polite. Every interaction was positive and the food was very nice quality if a little expensive.
The room itself was very good value.
Free parking and I had no trouble getting a spot over the three days I was there.
The receptionist who checked me in and out was lovely! As was the bar manager.
The building is in desperate need of repair and rejuvenation.
The sound carries horrendously and unluckily for me, the room above were very 'enthusiastic and loud during the 3 nights I was there.
The first room I was in leaked water through the ceiling and so I was moved to another room.
The spa is a state. That was the most disappointing for me. It was incredibly basic. There are 3 small pools (pictured) two are warm one is a cold plunge. There's a sauna that wasn't hot and a steam room. That was the spa. There were no doors on the lockers and the changing rooms are grim with those really old air blower hair dryers from the 80s. And it cost me £10. It should be free for hotel guests.
I was also down 2 levels with no lift access which was frustrating however there was lift access in other areas of the hotel and even a stair lift which I thought was good.

Great bars and common areas and spa to use too
Entertainment was on every night. Food was pleasant too.
Rooms are dated and drinks were very expensive. A pint and a double whiskey and coke was £17 something

We had an executive room with fabulous sea view with sun-rise views. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast and dinner were very nice with a good choice. Spa facilities very good and highly recommend massage treatment.

As a Iive in carer I needed a break and the location was perfect. The view was stunning with an exceptionally beautiful sunrise the day I left. There is a lovely walk to admire the view which is not far and not too strenuous .
4.5
Location and a beautiful view from my room
The rooms are very dated could do with a revamp. You have to pay extra to use the spa facilities plus no swimming pool.

Location good. Food great and breakfast is now buffet type which is good. Cleanness and staff great.
Some of the plumbing needs replacing as it is old and tired and does not work well

Everything was excellent. Welcome to check out was spot on.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Rooms were comfortable. But a little draughty. Seals in the windows need replacing.
Bar was very welcoming. Friendly staff (Hannah) in particular, because she was always there..
Prices in the bar were reasonable.
Restaurant, food and service very good.
Will definitely stay again.

Location. Parking ok. Food very good. Nice atmosphere.
The spa was a little bit tired. The jacuzzi we tried had a scum line showing. Could do with a good clean.
Charges for using spa facilities had we wanted to use them the following morning.
Nice room but parts needed a refurb. Enamel on bath chipped in a number of places. Sink tap handles loose. Curtains falling off the rails.

Great location; excellent breakfast; all staff were friendly and helpful; wonderful views from bedroom, comfortable bed.
Room compact; ensuite small (but functional).

Beautiful welcome and lovely hotel. Great bar lobby area and lovely food
Our single rooms were extremely hot and couldn’t control the heating

Radiator in room not working. Shower strength poor. Couldnt sleep due to noise from heater. Sent £10 to use the spa and get a proper shower.
Also booked dinner at the hotel and had to pay in advance!

Modern but classic. Great decor.
Spa therapy baths amazing. Very clean hotel. Great staff.
Nothing. All great.

We really enjoyed the spa facility with the hydro pools. The treatments were fantastic, Sarah really knows her stuff. The breakfast was very good and a special mention to Frances who was helpful and informative and a joy to be around when in the Gallery bar. Lunch and restaurant prices were very ressonable and our Seaview room was very nice. Furniture was a little dated but if you want modern then go to a Premier Inn..... Overall we had a fabulous 3 night stay and would not hesitate to return, hopefully at some point this year.....

The location was good. We were able to park easily. The entertainment on Sunday night was great.
The rooms were dated. No window or ventilation in the en-suite as the fan didn’t work. There wasn’t a shaver point. The door into the corridor didn’t fit properly and let a lot of light through during the night. The curtains didn’t fit so again let in a lot of light and draught. No charging points for phones. Ran out of soft fruit and yogurt very early during the breakfast period on both days and were told that there wasn’t anymore, especially disappointing as the breakfast was expensive. Portions for evening meal were small with few vegetables. Devonshire pudding was burnt. We booked a double room, which was actually two single beds put together with a double quilt on top.

The food was out of this world, the staff were amazing, the location and views were worth going on there own, very good value for money and can't wait to book again.
Nothing really, and would recommend them to everybody, will be going back soon

The staff were very welcoming and friendly - they clearly work hard.
I booked this as a spa retreat during a visit to see friends. The spa was extremely disappointing - really just a room with some chlorine baths.

Good choices for breakfast in a lovely setting with great views with helpful, friendly staff.
Nothing

The view from the bedroom was fabulous. The buzzing from the kitchen till 12 o’clock at night was not good. The Breakfast was first class. As for the afternoon Tea especially ordered for my birthday on Monday was very poor for the price. Three sandwiches, four small cakes and two scones with jam and cream is not my idea of a high tea. The price was extortionate.
The Afternoon tea our stay was very enjoyable and met some lovely other guests staying.

The views where very nice
Free parking
“Executive Suite” was defiantly not executive !!! Only in price!!
Room was shabby, old and disheveled, bathroom was the same and the shower leaked everywhere putting water on the floor rather than on you.
Definitely not worth the price I just paid.
Breakfast wasn’t the best either but was edible just.
Don’t book the evening meal as you will be disappointed .
Shame as was really looking forward to this hotel.

Parking was OK
In my room the shower doors were hanging off, tiles in the bathroom broken, in the 2nd room the main lamp was hanging off the ceiling, tiles broken in the bathroom shower doors broken, at breakfast we just felt like we got in the way of the waitress! When we arrived I tried to upgrade my room as per my genius status, bit I was told no! Unless I paid an additional £100 pet room! Although to book a double room it would only cost me £88.00.??? £18 for two drinks at the bar!! Vastly overpriced.
4.5
Fabulous location with excellent views. Very friendly staff who were always willing to be helpful. Perfect room
Cannot fault our stay
