Everything! I want this property to be our go to from now on. It’s amazing. It’s actually better in person then the pictures advertised. Zero issues. Owners answer questions and respond immediately.

Superb

Great location on the quiet side of the island. Beautiful view and within walking distance of eateries and a small beach. The staff were very helpful assisting us with golf cart hire and transfers.

The pool was a little murky on the first day but quickly remedied.

Passable

The villa and facilities were lovely and the rooms were big with comfortable beds. We were provided with enough filtered water for our 4 day stay and enjoyed using the pool.

We weren't aware that the pool is in fact shared between two villas on the premises, I was under the impression that this was a private villa and pool. Looking more closely into the FAQs I can see that this is mentioned, but at first glance it's not advertised anywhere as a shared pool, which was quite disappointing. The villa manager (Abdiel) arrived late to check us in, though we had provided ample notice of our ferry's arrival time to the island. We rented a buggy from him on one of the days, which he was also late in providing to us. We requested a taxi to pick us up from the villa, which is in a nice location for good restaurants but far from all else, but the taxi never arrived. We felt it was better to arrange our transportation ourselves after this. During our stay there was a large storm, knocking the power out from half of the island for around 12 hours. Though this is of course out of anyone's control, it was very difficult to sleep without any aircon, lights or running water, but they did come to the villa to provide a large torch which was useful.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. The views from the villa and the surrounding area are breathtaking.The villa is on the quieter side of the island, and to be honest, that's what I loved about it the most. Ive stayed on the playa Norte side in the past, and this is hands down a better location. I will highly recommend renting a golf cart. You will need it!!! Our host set us up with one. Dont look further and book this place!!

Lovely villa very comfortable and well equipped. We went with our 7month year old baby and he loved it. Nice shallow bit in the pool. Nice sea views. We much preferred the area to the playa del norte end. So many lovely places for tacos and street food nearby. Owner and son organised everything including dropping off and picking up a golf cart. And helping us to the property.

The road between sea and villa gets buys with cars and golf carts.

The location was away from the busy tourist areas but within walking distance of lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The facility was absolutely lovely;spacious, clean, well appointed. Everything worked. The pool area was well appointed and beautifully kept with a wonderful breeze on the hottest days and a great view right in front of us all the time.

The only issue was the noise from the traffic on the road in front of the property. It wasn’t a problem inside but was a bit loud while chatting around the pool...a tiny annoyance in an otherwise spectacular place.

Great Villa

We really liked the pool area and the space we had in the villa. The owners also offered us a lift to the ferry on the day we left. They provided water for us, there were towels to use separately from the shower towels. There were books and a TV to connect to Netflix to. A lot of storage space and a safe ☺️

The front door seemed to have been jammed and it was hard to lock and unlock.

STAY HERE FOR AN AMAZING TRIP!!

I loved the location and the villa itself! The space is perfect for two people to each have your own bedroom and bathroom. The pool and back deck area is beautiful and perfect to enjoy some downtime!

The pool is a shared area with the other villa but luckily most of the days we were there the other villa wasn’t booked. :)

We want to stay for a week next time!

Excellent location along the quieter side of the island. We could tell the owner took great pride in this villa. It was very clean, the pool was well cared for, and the layout fit our needs perfectly. Candelario was also helpful arranging a golf cart for us to use during our stay and recommending several good restaurants.

A must!

We had the host who have waited for us in the arrival of the ferry and together with a colleague took us to the villa with all our suitcases. The host was super helpful for every question/ask we had. We travelled with our 2 kids and baby and the villa was perfect and the host was super helpful for everything. we even had the chance to celebrate a great birthday in the villa with alot of extras that was provided by the host upon our request.

maybe the location is not great since its far from the beaches, but we were looking for this type of villa and the great view it offers. really no complians...

A great place to get away and relax that is so close to all of the fun on the island.

The pool and the view were awesome. Our host was easy to contact and made sure our stay was great. We were able to arrange transportation from the airport to the ferry with him too.

I have been charged 5% more because I have paid by Visa card, but the staff didn’t tell me before to make the payment, I only realised the price difference after the payment was made. i would appreciated to be advised about the extra charge before to make the payment, I could’ve made the payment by cash

Best Villa in Isla Mujeres

I really liked my stay at Villa Dorada! The owners are really responsive and helpful. The Villa is huge and right in front of the sea and near everything. I highly recommand for families and couples. Thank you Mr Cande and Abdiel.

It was a great stay and they took very good care of us.

When we arrived on the ferry we were met at the terminal with our golf cart. He helped us with our luggage and escorted us to the villa. When we arrived at the villa he gave us all the details. It was amazing!

Hot water was at a premium and the beds are a little hard.

Isla Dorado is a wonderful base for your next trip to Isla Mujeres.

Abdeil met us at the ferry and drove our things to the Villa. He is a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the island. We could not have had a better experience. And we plan to return next year. Candelario Tours is associated with this Villa and can provide access to a lot of extra activities. Abdeil also showed us where to buy food for our stay. Both Mango for breakfast and Fuego del Mar are exceptional eating locations. On North End, try treetop Yoga- a fantastic experience.

Everything was terrific, we have no complaints.
