Awesome location great host

The host was great good communication and exceed expectations of location and cleanness

Water pressure could be better when flushing the toilet, construction on start of day (it was advised)

Very good apartment

Realy friendly owner. Nice big rooms with fully equiped kitchen. Very good location you could just walk everywere. Also at night time very quiet. Defenetly would return.

When we return to Isla Mujeres will only stay at one of Candes.apartments.

Breakfast was not included but excellent coffee (& maker) provided. Cafe Moguaga 1 block down Madero hz great breakfasts! Location of apartment was perfectly situated to shops, beaches, restaurants and nightlife.

Cannot think of anything negative about this apartment...

Very good host and a lot of sun

We had a great holidays, thanks to Abdiel, our host. The apartment is well located near a grocery store and the central square and especially 5 minutes from Playa Norte. Abdiel, organized our snorkeling activities and even our taxis. We recommend this apartment without any problem.

Superb

Easy to walk to from the ferry...even with luggage for my daughter's wedding. Someone was there to give me keys and take the luggage up. Great family taco spot around the corner (where I ate two meals in two days!) and pharmacy across the street. There was a full water dispenser in the unit and the air conditioners kept things cool.

location and price. it was big and a/c works great.

beds are hard but adequate. Abdiel, the son of Cande rented us a golf cart and come to find out it was a residential one. Ended up sitting at the station and got a new one. Abdiel didn’t really come around after that. also found out the cost was way more than other place.

Great Apartment in Convenient Spot!

The location is very convenient to the ferry, malecon, and Playa Norte. There's a wonderful, inexpensive restaurant downstairs, a farmacia across the street, and a liquor store, 2 little stores for Cokes, snacks, milk, etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby and SO close to Hildago. The apartment had everything. Beach and bath towels, washcloths, soap, kitchen was stocked. I needed a pair of scissors and knew that I'd find a pair in a kitchen drawer (I did). The host even provided ground coffee, filters, and packages of sweeteners and creamer. There were AC units and ceiling fans in both rooms, and it always stayed cool! The WiFi works great. The bed was firm but comfortable and slept great every night. Lots of hangers were in the closet and there was a safe. I'd absolutely stay there again. It was very cozy and the location to everything was perfect. Check-in was also a breeze. Asked taxi driver to take me to Al Natural restaurant. Showed them a pic on my phone. Then asked the ladies in the laundry about Cande's Apartments. They made a call, and someone arrived, took payment, handed over the keys, and showed the apartment. Easy.

The shower head needs to be replaced or cleaned. The water sprayed out in all directions.

Lovely place, excellent for families

Location was fantastic and the apartment itself was very clean and inviting. Restaurant next door was delicious! Rooftop patio was great! (Parents, you can leave a baby monitor in the apartment and go relax on the roof after bedtime!!)

Our one complaint is that we had arranged to be picked up from the ferry port, but we were delayed due to a customs problem that affected our entire flight (they didn’t allow any luggage off the plane for a full hour!). We didn’t have data so we could only communicate with wifi, and as a result we arrived at the port and no one was there. I know it was a confusing situation, but it was still quite frustrating as we had to walk with all our bags, a toddler, and a baby, with directions that were not super detailed.

Great apartment for a reasonable price.

This is an awesome apartment at the very centre, 5 min walk to the beautiful beach. The host is very helpful and is always in contact should u need anything. The apartment is big, modern and very clean. It has a collection of books even! 🥰

Centrally located apartment with a great host

Lovely apartment just 5-10min walking distance from Playa Norte, the best beach on Isla Mujeres. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need and there was complementary water dispenser what we appreciated a lot. Candelario is amazing host, he responded immediately to all our requests / questions and helped us organize the delivery of our delayed baggage.

It gets a bit noisy weekends from the nearby bars / restaurants but nothing you cannot stand.

Fab apartment close to everything you want on Mujeres!

Fully equipped and centrally located apartment close to everything including playa.norte and the ferry and restaurants all walkable! Small touches in the apartment made it very comfortable. Terrace upstairs which we didn't use but a private little outdoor space (shared with the other apartment we think). Big bonus to have a second room as we were travelling with a baby. Air con was in all rooms and worked brilliantly, plus hot water.

Only small con is it would be great if the owners had a lock box for easy check in (we needed to meet the owner who was lovely and quickly communicated but like everywhere in Mexico it means tourists have to find WiFi on arrival to then let hosts know you are waiting). Also like other places in Mujeres/Holbox there is a 5% surcharge to pay by card. It is minor though so fully recommend the place 10/10.

Great Location and Apartment size.

The location and size of the apartment,balcony was a big plus for us..They provided everything needed in the kitchen including ample towels for shower and take to beach..Abriel was very helpful and attended to all needs..Everything is within walking distance..

If you have never been on Isla Mujeres or to this apartment,please read carefully...I have been to Isla many times in the past,3 times so far this year..If you book this apartment,please don;t try to find it on your own...Took us 1.5 hours to find..No one knows addresses on this Island and what is Cande's apartments...including the people who works at the laundry down stairs,we asked and showed them the address and they did not know...not until a guy working opposite knew and took us to the same laundry,then the lady called Abriel and he was out looking for us all this time...Abriel did send me a message on my cell phone,but i had no internet connection,so could not read it.There needs to be a sign outside showing the name,if it was there we would have found it in a flash..because i knew the right street corner...That was the only negative about Cande's.

Wonderful felt like a home away from home

If I had to give one complaint it would be that I would have liked a TV in the bedroom.

Nice, clean place with privacy- good alternative to hotel

clean, spacious and well equipped apartment in town just off the tourist center. no bar noise, but some noise from the street. friendly, very helpful owner who also runs a tour company.

finding it was a little hard, but we called and owner’s wife , who works at the laundry/ dry cleaners at the corner, let us in

Good location and clean. Had all we needed for our stay for self catering and quiet being one street away from.main bar and restuarant street. Close walkt to everything in town. Good balcony for having a drink in the evening or morni g coffee

I would never stay anywhere else in Isla Mujeres

This property is in the center of everything in Isla Mujeres!! Abdiel and Candelario are amazing people who go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable! The pillows were brand new!! The bed was so comfy. The location is spectacular. Even though it’s not “ocean view” you can see the ocean every morning from the rooftop or from the balcony which is what we did. Some people here said it was hard to find but that’s because if you have never been to isla Mujeres you don’t realize how close everything is to you. Abdiel met us immediately, and waited/ communicated with us as we waited at the airport and ferry. We were given maid service and water when we wanted. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to make meals. They even have coffee waiting for you in the room. They are also above the laundry which was so convenient to clean clothes! Amazing spot, amazing people, impeccable service! Gracias por todo Abdiel y Candelario!

Fantastic location, But…Bring your own pillows or you’ll regret it!!!

we loved the location and the rooftop . Abdiel was there when we arrived and informed us of things dealing with the apartment in a professional manner. The place is roomy with exception of the bathroom, which is quite small. There were plenty of towels including 4 beach towels, that we were grateful to take to the beach. The kitchen was equipped with plenty supplies. The living area needs some comfortable furniture. just a futon and dining room chairs. plus this is where the only TV is.

I hated the PiLLOWS!!!!! They are not sleeping pillows! I didn’t get much sleep the first night, and woke up with a HORRIBLE Neck and headache!!! they desperately need to invest in NEW pillows!! or Everyone needs to bring your own. I used a throw pillow from the uncomfortable futon in living area with a T-Shirt over it! THAT’S how bad they are. The only TV is in the living area, not in the bedroom.

Great location! Wonderful tacos right downstairs, too. Cande & son were lovely, helpful & very accommodating. So kind. Roof top deck was awesome. Felt very safe.

Would have preferred a curtain at kitchen window. Little tricky to find.

Excellent stay.

Everything was spotless clean. A lot of kitchen equipment was provided like a blender and coffee machine. Shower had always hot water. 20 liters of free water was also included. Very nice accomodation.

we would not hesitate to stay there again, it’s a great apartment and the owners are great to work with

excellent location, comfortable space for family of four, great rooftop terrace, A/C worked great; owners are awesome and they can provide or arrange all types of activities - snorkeling, golf cart rental, airport transportation, etc. Excellent restaurant just around the corner - Al Natural- best tacos!

wifi was spotty, intermittent but cell service was good; Google maps will get you to the apartment location but there isn’t a sign or anything to indicate the exact location which is fine- go to the laundromat on the corner (of Guerrero and Madero) and owners will meet you there unless you meet them at the ferry port
