Alexander and his family are amazing hosts. We had amazing time here and we hope we will meet them soon!
We were lucky enough to be there for Alexander's birthday and attend his surprise birthday party. So welcoming. By the way, Alex and Nana love Prague, if you are Czech, you will have a lot to talk about:)

Great stay at Aleksandre, who is a fantastic host! The room was comfortable and very clean, but Aleksandre and his family made the stay unforgettable! Dinner and breakfast were great as well.

This is an amazing guesthouse to stay thanks to Aleksandre and his whole family who are so happy to have guests. You immediately feel not only welcomed but really part of this warm family. It is pretty and so close to Vardzia caves! A little gem!

Amazing breakfast. Everything local and cooked with love! The owner is the friendliset guy, he offered us tatsy local wine and chacha (local drink). It’s close to both Vardzia and Vani’s Kvabebi. There are some natural hot springs in the village. Don’t look further this place is an experience!

The kindness of Aleksandre and his family all has been such a gift and I left considering I have real Friends now in Vardzia (T'mogvi)

We had a great stay at this guest house. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly.
The place is basic, but very cozy and charming. The hosts are there to accommodate any needs. The location is great. It is a few mins walk from the nice overlook on the river Mtkvari. It is 10 mins drive from one of the major historic sites, Vardzia. We absolutely recommend getting dinner at the host place. It is not included in the cost, so you need to request separately. I strongly recommending staying in this place if you are in the area.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming, it is easy to find and well located for visiting Vardzia. Breakfast (and dinner that we ordered and paid in addition) were very tasty, and a good opportunity to test and appreciate Georgian food. The room is simple, as well as bathroom.
hangers for clothes when going to bathroom and maybe ab=n additional lamp to read at night.

Aleksandre and his family are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The place is very simple so don't expect much but it has everything you might need and it's a homestay.
It was cold when we came but heaters were provided and along with very think woolen blankets they made our night warm.
The breakfast was very tasty and big too.

Family spirit of this accomodation is unbelievable. We felt like home, spent evening with grandma and 3 children. We tried homemade wine which was amazing. The Georgian breakfast was the best. For sure we come again.

Amazing, authentic Georgian experience. Family gives you their heart and soul. So friendly and kind. Cozy place that has a rural vibe. Recommend you ask for dinner there with everything from their garden and farm.

I have never met anyone who enjoys meeting and engaging with guests as much as Aleksandre. He’s amazing!! Nana is great, too, and a fantastic cook. The thing to know about this place is that the people are the property. All else is irrelevant. (But if you were really wondering, everything is very clean, the beds are comfy, and the tomatoes come off the plant right before they’re served at dinner.) If I come back to Georgia I’ll be staying here again.

I loved Guest House Aleksandre. It is one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed. Aleksandre and his whole family made me feel so welcome. The food was great, I ate breakfasts and dinners with them. The room was clean and comfortable and I really enjoyed the area. I did great hikes right from the guest house to Tmogvi Fortress and the Vardzia Cave Monastery as well as up to the Village of Kumurdo. A great place! Highly recommended!

Great family and good vibes! We were thinking to stay one night but instead 2 as we felt so well there. We eventually had to leave but could have easily stayed more days to relax... hope to go there again!

Nice place to stay for a few days to visit the Tmogvi fortress and the rock town of Vardzia and several less known monuments. Evening talks with Alexandre while savoring strong chacha.

Excellent hosts, kind, communicative and attentive.Lovely village house in a perfect location for short walks nearby, only 5 kms away from Vardzia.Comfortable room, huge breakfast and diner, speedy wifi.
Dining room was actually an empty room recently constructed.

Very sweet guest house, near Vardzia (just 5-6 minutes with a car).

Me and my friends loved the place. Aleksandre, his wife and children welcomed us not like guests but like a family. The rooms were clean and big enough, the beds were crazy comfortable. There is a beautiful garden outside with growing vegetables and red grapes. Its located very close to Vardzia, car distance. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious. We ordered extra meal which was dinner. The meal was 9 different dishes! Aleksandre treated us with a lot of his own vine. The time spent there was one of the kind, beautiful Georgian experience. I will definitely come back again, next time when I visit Georgia.

We had an amazing time with Alexandre, his family, friends and the other guests.
We had home made wine and had a great home cooked dinner and breakfast.
We will come back and will stay here again.
Thanks for a great hospitality.

We had an amazing stay at Aleksandre's house. Aleksandre has children of a similar age and one of the first things we did after refreshing ourselves in the room was to head down to the river with Aleksandre and his children for a swim. Later on, we had a delicious and generous dinner with Aleksandre and his family where we were plied with wine he makes himself and then the children all went and played hide and seek around the property while we were able to keep talking (and drinking wine!). Aleksandre also gave us a lot of advice on where he recommended we went next. The garden is also very beautiful around the property. It is only 9 minutes away from the Vardzia cave complex.
The beds and the pillows were a little on the hard side but we felt that we still got excellent value for money so this didn't really bother us for the night.

The guest house is in a really beautiful small village close to wardsia. Alexandre and his wife are really nice and will do everything to help you. They will also prepare some delicious food for you. Defenetly the best guest house in this area.
