Don't let the location, down an alley, discourage you. This boutique hotel features one suite per floor, so no noisy neighbors and street noise is minimal. Staff, led by Madam Fleur, are all very helpful and breakfast is great! The location was handy to good restaurants and other amenities. The free laundry service was a bonus
Nothing really, other than the usual bikes parked on the sidewalk

Location is perfect, above a very good coffee place in the middle of district 1. Rooms were spacious and clean and the staff is exceptional!

Quiet room in a busy neighborhood, with space and comfort, and an harmonious design. Staff is very kind and helpful. Good breakfast!

The room was clean and spacious.
It was difficult to locate as it is inside alley but the hotel staff can be contacted

The staff is great. Very attentive and nice. The location is great, everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
They always gave us solutions to all the problems that we found.
They offer us free breakfast and 30% discount for the inconveniences. Thanks a lot.
1. The night before my stay, they informed me that they need to change my room to another one in the Mimosa Petite hotel (3 mins walking). The new room had no windows and was on the ground floor. It was cheaper and they offered me free breakfast for the inconveniences.
2. There was a extrange noise, coming from the wall that woke up us both nights at 12PM. Apparently it was coming from the neighbors house.
3. At night you can hear every conversation of the guests with the reception, and all the noises of the toilet in the ground floor.

Very clean, good bathroom and shower! The bed was amazing and comfortable not hard like stone like every other hotel. Very nice staff! Flower help us to get early check in after a long trip with night train. She was so kind. Good breakfast as well
a little weird smell in the room sometimes, but nothing irritating.

Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Also very nice staff and good location.

Great location away from the noise of Bui Vien Street but not that far away if thats your thing. Very well located. Our room on the forth floor had a great view of the city skyline, which is a rarity for hotels in this price bracket. The room was clean and had the most comfortable bed we slept in during our travels through Vietnam. Very efficient, contollable and silent aircon. Staff were all fantastic, friendly, very helpful and dealt with any request or issue immediately (we had a problem with a faulty security box which was resolved immediately) . The lady on reception also spoke very good English and advised us regularly on the best ways to get to where we wanted to go. The free laundry service was also a very welcome and convenient bonus that was offered.
Breakfast service was a bit chaotic most mornings and the choices limited. Also pricey by local standards.
Cold or tepid shower.

amazing staff, just beautiful. Adorable hotel, comfiest beds in city haha, netflix, awesome wifi, good bathroom, was booked out and we couldn’t stay longer and wee girl at reception felt bad offered us free meal haha. They did all our laundry for us in 1 day, and left a traditional spa foot bath in our room. Couldn’t recommend more :)

Very nice place with perfect position, in a very crowded area but in a super quite and typical road!walking distance to almost everything! The hotel looks pretty new, we had a room with balcony and it was a plus. Katie and all her colleagues helped so much and they gave us a big smile every day and everything we asked for.
Very raccomended!

The location was very good. It's a very short walk to the bus station and restaurants plus street foods.
I wish it would offer a microwave oven.

The staff were just brilliant, couldn't fault them,it was like being at home, they would chat as long as you cared to,can't say enough about them 😘
I'd have to start looking, didn't want to leave the hotel

The hotel provides free laundry.

The location was close to main tourist areas in Ho Chi Min city. They helped us book a day trip to CuChi tunnels.
Misleading pictures of the room. Room decoration was not the same as in the pictures which are clearly photo shopped. We initially booked another hotel but they changed us to a new location.

Clean spacious room with spacious bathroom. There was a foot spa kit given to us as well when we came back at the end of the day. Much appreciated. It is well located to Ben Vien Walking street and to many eating options. Much recommended.
We were moved from Chez Mimosa Corner to Chez Mimosa Local due to some COVID emergency. We were informed about this beforehand. The new place did not have a lift/elevator which made 4th floor quite a workout in the humid weather of August.
4.5
Cozy quiet hotel not far from the center, near busy streets full of places to dine or shop. The staff was extremely helpful.

Due to Covid, Chez Mimosa Boutique Corner was closed therefore we were moved to Chez Mimosa Local which was close by. This review is therefor of Chez Mimosa Local. What we like about Chez Mimosa Local is that it was quiet. The room was clean, towels and bedding clean, beds comfortable, equipped with a refrigerator, one free water bottle. Everything inside was up to par!!
Chez Mimosa Local was located in an ally away from the street and therefore quiet at night. However walking to it from the street, one would walk by street-food stalls and on subpar sanitary surface. Glad we had our masks on to minimize the street odor. Had to step around water puddles along the way.
Our room was the only room with two beds was on the third floor. Not having an elevator made it so difficult to climb in and out each time. Steps seemed so high made the climb worse!!
3.5
very comfortable bed, nice design of the room. Close to the main attractions but far enough to have a good night sleep.
internet was unstable. It was still good if you are just traveling but not good for work, almost impossible to video conference.

Friendly staff; free laundry

Chez Mimosa Boutique Corner does not exist any more so I can only write a review for the new location Chez Mimosa Local. The rooms were clean. the location is pretty good in a local backyard. The crew is nice and friendly.
I actually booked Chez Mimosa Boutique Corner where I had stayed before and which is still bookable on Booking.com even it obviously does not exist any more for some time. I was informed about the change to the new location Chez Mimosa Local. Unfortunately I didn’t like that hotel as much as the former hotel which had a rooftop Café and breakfast. The new place is more like a homestay. The rooms were clean but I still caught several pretty big cockroaches (stayed on second floor, close to the ground floor). In one of my rooms the air conditioner had a moist and moldy smell and at night there was some construction going on. The group should take the Chez Mimosa Boutique Corner hotel off Booking.com to avoid any customer disappointment and confusion.

I like that the hotel is located in a very local area with food stalls and shops. The staff was kind and ready to help. Speaking of the room itself, I appreciated the design and how spacious it was.
The bathroom is a little outdated. I am a light sleeper and even though the hotel is hidden at the end of a small alley, it's close to a main street where a market is held during the weekend. I could hear noises as early as 5:30 am.

Great room and location. Very comfy and really good shower. It was amazing to have the washing service too.
We were given a kettle and one mug - it would be better if tea/coffee was included.

We were one of the very few customers right before Tet, and it felt like home. Very clean and modern room, good wifi for online work. They don't serve breakfast so they kindly let us use the kitchen. Everyone we met at this place was very welcoming and helpful. The location is also nice, a very cozy alley with some cafes, and not far from the centre at the same time. We felt so comfortable - extended our stay for a week instead of two nights.
