The man that was awaiting me (Roger Costa Salinas) was absolutely horrible and acting very condescending. He was aware that I had just driven 6 hours and that my other accommodation didn’t work out because of the concierge not showing up. He treats you like a child and is absolutely the most horrible person I’ve ever met. He has no flexibilty, nor empathy and definitely no professionalism.
On top of that he said I couldn't just leave whenever I wanted during my stay so I didn't even have the freedom to do what I wanted. I was thrown out of the hotel in the middle of the night, without any reason.
Horrible experience!

Very clean, comfortable rooms! Nicely decorated bathroom with rainshower. Good beds. Relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant serves good food and fruits smoothies.
Beautiful beach around. Partly rocky.
Staff speaks few English.
Included breakfast very small for such a remote location: one coffee or juice, one slice of toasted bread with either one scoop of gallo pinto or two scrambled/fried eggs. You can add on paid or in the cantina across the street or the local store.

Very good location 5 minute walk from the beach.
Comfortable bed and great shower (hot water eventually runs out though)
Poor breakfast for the value of the room. We were asked to choose between orange juice (industrial) or coffee (very bad) and fried or scrambled eggs with toast. There wasn't even butter available for you to put on your toast.
Staff was ok, polite and all but nothing to write home about. Our check in process was quick and the manager didn't spend much time to welcome us, he handed us the key, made sure to mention that if there were towels missing at the end of our stay we'd have to pay for them and left. One of the staff members barged into our room without knocking at 6pm while we were in there. She apologized but still came in before we could ask her to come in like if she had the right to do so.
Room had no mini bar and when we asked about what we could do with our water bottles and fridge things the answer was "we have a bar where you can purchase things"
Lighting in the room was awful - all white bulbs.

Town is really cool with beautiful beaches.
Hotel is really bad. They hired someone to cook breakfast just for us, since the hotel was empty. Options were extremely limited as there was little food in the kitchen. Way overpriced - we found out later it was listed on AirBNB for 60% of the price. Hotel was empty. Pool was full of dead bugs. Hotel staff could not make decisions without calling the boss in Nicaragua. We booked for 2 adults and a 3 year old and yet got a surprise surcharge for an extra bed. There was no one to unlock the gate in the morning until 10am so we had to climb over the fence to get out. We booked via American Express and it said in our contract we could pay via Am ex. When we got there, they said they could not take Am Ex.
