Un très bel endroit avec vue sur le Rocher du lion.

Un hôtel super propre, accueillant et très bien placé avec une magnifique piscine. Chambre très propre et très confortable. Climatisation eau chaude. Petits déjeuners très bons et copieux faits maison. Restaurant très bon. Une mention particulière pour le patron qui est très accueillant et très serviable.

Le personnel est plus qu’adorable et très serviable

Le personnel est très gentils, serviable et peux rendre service dès que possible. La piscine dans l’hôtel est un vrai plus et il est idéalement situé à côté de safari et du rocher du lion.

Séjour exceptionnel

Le personnel extrêmement serviable et sympathique. La propreté de la chambre et de la piscine. Le personnel nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour et nos excursions. C’était vraiment un super séjour ! Merci encore pour tout !

Good place to stay and visit Sigiriya and areas around it

Very hospitable owner and staff. Upon arrival, we were given a welcome drink and were advised on what to see around. The café on the top floor offers a view of Sigiriya. When we arrived, the staff were repairing and cleaning the pool. I’m sure the place will be even better with it

Отель находиться в тихом уютном месте. Нас встретил прекрасный работник, который беспокоился о каждой мелочи. В номере было чисто, брали комнату без кондиционера, нам было достаточно вентилятора, он справлялся со своей задачей. Чистые полотенца , чистое постельное, прекрасный вид с руфтопа.

Расположен в джунглях: пышная зелень, звуки природы, звездное небо над головой.

Нет кондиционера, только потолочный вентилятор. В душевой Лейка из потолка. Вместо второй односпальной кровати раскладушка. Расположена в незначительном отдалении от основной улицы

A hidden gem- the best home stay!!

Lovely garden out the front to arrive to, big spacious room and a great view of lion rock from the communal area on the top floor. Fernando and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, organised transport for us, gave us some great tips and him and his wife ended up giving us an amazing cooking class! The property is nice and tucked away with good facilities. It’s a great home stay!! Highly recommend!

La vista en el ultimo piso (comedor, espacio común) es muy linda. La habitación y la cama muy bien. El staff muy amable. Estaba mas alejado de el centro y eso estaba bien para no tener tanto ruido ni tanto turismo cerca

Yo habia alquilado un tuk tuk y tenia movilidad, para mi estaba muy bien, pero si estas de a pie puede ser un poco alejado sobre todo a la noche

This is a very bad place to stay with a family because the owners are not aware of basic human needs

The room did not have A/C but fully airtight and therefore no ventilation. There was no mosquito net and then we could not think of leaving the door slightly opened. The room did not have windows. The owner asked us to leave the door of the room open as a solution. The place did not have a gate, nor a gate to the stair way. How can we leave to door of the room opened throughout the night. We cancelled the reservation and they asked us to pay 50%. We paid 50% of the total amount and after paying left the property for another place at night around 9.30 pm. This was the worse experience we ever had in our history of family trips.

If the room is not A/C, there should be natural ventilation with a mosquito net. In this room there were neither AC facilties nor ventilation.

Our Worst Stay in Sri Lanka; please don’t book

The room , amenities and the locations; everything was not as per the ecxpectations. The property has given fake description regarding amenities like wardrobe , flooring ( tiles/ marble) toiletries etc. the locations is so bad that it’s difficult to reach with muddy and narrow connecting road; also far from the centre.

Pleasant stay for visiting Sigiriya

The host was meeting us friendly and helpful and truly wanted us to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast provides 2 options - western or Sri Lankan - the western style breakfast is fine but the Sri Lankan is amazing and a good way to submerge yourself into Sri Lanka. Top floor has a perfect view of Sigiriya Rock.

The road to the place needs maintenance, when it rains it gets very muddy and cumbersome for vehicles

Friendly place in the jungle tranquility

Very peaceful and with a nice view of Lion Rock. Comfortable room with good AC and ceiling fan. Excellent breakfast, very tasty home cooked food. But the best of all was the host family, who were very friendly and accommodating, even with extra things like transportation and early breakfast (for those sunrise hikes).

The location, although peaceful, was a bit of a walk inside the jungle, we only used rented motorbike and tuk-tuk because walking wouldn’t be very fun, especially at night. The bathroom was a bit stuffy, but everything worked and we had hot water. Wi-Fi was not very good but perfectly acceptable.

Calm, clean and comfortable with a stunning view of Lion Rock.

The rooftop restaurant and the first floor chill out area offer stunning views of the Lion Rock. Rooms are simple, but spacious and clean and the beds are comfortable. The hosts Nuwan and Sandumi are very friendly and welcoming and made us a lovely breakfast at 7 am for an early ascent to Lion Rock.

the location is nice, nice views to the lion rock. couple managing it is very lovely.

Room was okay, loads of power cuts but that’s to be expected in Sri Lanka. Wifi was good when it was working, which was half of the time. The bathroom is absolutely horrendous, it smelled very bad and had not cleaned at all. Only had half a toilet roll. Overall I did like the place but the bathroom kind of ruined our stay there.

Fine for a night to visit Sigiriya

Good location for visiting Sigiriya Clean enough. Good breakfast. Mosquito nets.

Smelled very damp There were a lot of mosquitos in the room (so thankful for the mosquito net) Wifi didn't work in the room, had to stand near the lobby.

Relaxing stay

The staff, a couple, are really kind people, and the room was exactly the same as in the pictures. We had a very calm, relaxing stay here, and thankfully didn't come across any frogs or such creatures associated with the location, at least on the first floor. And of course, the view of the Sigiriya rock! You can see it best from the restaurant on the topmost floor.

The WiFi didn't work.
