The best view in Bali! Beautiful terrace! Super friendly staff!!!

The best hotel we stayed at in Bali. Remote location off the beaten track but staff were really friendly and accommodating. They decorated the villa for my wife's birthday, prepared a floating breakfast and romantic meal without additional cost. Was even given a free tour of the rice fields and local farm land.
Nothing

It is in a beautiful location. Views I imagine are amazing but raining when we were there. Staff are lovely
We had 2 rooms a wooden hut and the tree house. Both are in need of maintenance. Hut is very badly lit and big gaps around shutters and doors. Not good for keeping bugs out. Not sure the tree house is safe to get in and out of. Food served in room with no table to eat on. There is a table outside but couldnt use as raining

Fotos don't show how great, calm and positive energy place it is. Every morning you can wake up with beautiful view on volcano, rise terrace and sunshine. Family staff are trying to help you to feel like at home and doing everything to makes you staying there the Best. Total private place, nobody around and view which you never be boring. Great small but enought swimming pool, hamook and swing. Breakfast which they bring to you to home. It was our the best place where we had occaction to stay in our a lot of yourney in the World.
Nothing. Everything was great!
Maybe add some sunbed and change garden cusions.
Is good to have a motobike because is little far away to shops, restaurants and tourist atractions.

The staff here are so amazing. They accommodated us so well and went above and beyond to make sure we were situated. They really showed they cared for their guests. The property itself is beautiful. The view is amazing and it truly feels like you’re in a romantic get away. No bad things to say about this property. Their nearby restaurant is a must try as well with great local/cultural food.
The location is very hard to fine, there are no signs indicating where to turn. You’ll have to contact the property and have staff come find you. The address takes you to the nearby supermarket and restaurant which is where staff found us. Staff is very sweet though. Recommend checking in during the day.

incredible scenery, lovely hosts, really friendly, felt very peaceful!
slightly out of the way, but that’s part of the charm, drivers also were arranged for us, picking us up and onto next location

I think we were upgraded to the room with tree house and mountain view. I don't understand why, but it was perfect
So isolated and private
The other room which we originally reserved is a bit exposed.
Beautiful interior design and mesmerizing view
The food was very good
We arrived and found the room with no recycle bins, no soup, no shampoo, conditioner or shower gel
There was supposed to be tea and coffee but we only found tea
The drinking water was not in there too
Also if you're not insect friendly DON'T GO THERE
They are understaffed, so our breakfast so late
The lighting of the room was so poor

the stuff so friendly and helpful , specially Ayu
this have awesome and incredible sunrise

This place and view is extraordinary and the hospitality was so good.
Transportation was bit difficult but this place is awesome

The view of Mount Agung and the surrounding rice fields was unmatched. Having just come from the business of Ubud, the peace and tranquility was quite the relief. The staff, Ayu and Nangen, were wonderfully accommodating, and the driver Manku was an excellent guide, taking us anywhere we wanted to go!
The only thing we would have appreciated was receiving more information beforehand on what there is to do in the area, as it is quite remote and we would have stayed an extra night if we knew. Ayu and Manku have told us you can:
- get a 1 or 2 hour tour/ hike of the rice fields
- hike Mount Batur or Mount Agung
- visit Besakih mother temple
- go white water rafting
- swim in the local river

it’s one of my favorites spots in Bali. The Location is amazing: a view to the mountain, a small pool, surrounded by rice fields and very quiet. even as a solo traveler it was a nice place to stay. If you’re looking for a different stay instead of a city hotel: go here
it was a bit difficult to find as Google maps is not 100 % exactly 😆

Fantastic views from the bungalow. Thank you to Ayu and Komang for being so attentive, helpful and friendly. Also thanks to Pak Mangku for driving us around and showing us the beauty of Sidemen!
The shower could have a higher wall or a curtain as the people passing by could see us.

the view from the room , comfy and nice shower! very peaceful.
The staff were great, the driver mrngkau made our welcome so good and was helpful finding our way around to a few places and arranging trips.
couldn’t pay with an international bank card , had to drive to another location to use a Visa card and charged extra…
If bugs bother you then maybe not for you.

Quick info about how we ended up in this beautiful place and with beautiful people. The plan to Bali was only 10 days. When we were in the airport to head back to India, is when AirAsia informs us that our flight has been cancelled due to G20. So our flight got rescheduled from 13th to 16th. We had 3 more days, so we found this place and booked asap. We reached the place in the night,, I fell in love with the kindness and hospitality of beautiful people who welcomed us (staffs - Ayu, Komang & Mangku). Drive or Ride to the place is beautiful.
1. View from the Villa was outstanding, we arrived late night so we couldn't make out exactly how the view was as soon as we checked in,, but the next day morning the view was amazing, could see mount Agung, rice farming, chili farm, covered by mountains around.
2. The place was well maintained.
3. Food was amazing - Our master chefs (Ayu & Komang).
4. Hospitality was great, every single staff was good at what they were doing. Special highlights to Ayu "The Cantik" she is polite, professional.
5. The place is quite and peaceful.
We had lot of fun travelling to near by places and spent good time in Villa, I carried back lots of sweet memories. We actually wanted our flights to get cancelled again lol. But we will be back soon to spend time with beautiful people and this place.

Gladak is a locally run property with two bungalows and a great deal of charm. My partner and I loved our stay with breakfast overlooking a stunning view of Sidemen, a helpful staff by our sides, and wonderful recommendations for our few nights there. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small families looking to get away and immerse in Balinese village life in comfort/style.
When we stayed, the property only accepted payment via debit card or cash. It’s quite a cheap stay, so it didn’t end up being a problem, but this is a heads up for others looking to book.

I loved the views from the hotel. The staff are super friendly and are very helpful. The room was really big and felt quite cosy and more kind of stripped back than other places I had been to on my trip. You can arrange things quite easily via the staff members, like a driver or massage.
